Yes, most Hot Topic stuff is less than good quality. But they do carry a couple good (though a bit expensive) brands. Namely, Tripp NYC and Lip Service (which made the PVC nurse outfit).

Tripp is the cool.
My Hot Topic merchandise consists of 1 shirt that's too small for me, 2 shirts that mostly fit me, and several shirts that are too big for me.
I get my Tripp at Trash and Vaudeville (a.k.a. two pairs of pants, one of which was on sale. stfu, i'm cheap. ish.)
