Man, all I have is a sugar glider. I have I'd two cats and a fish in my life because my mom doesn't like animals.

We have two Irish Setters and a Lab, but my love is my cat, Felix! At the time we named him I did not actually know that there had been a black cartoon cat named Felix . . we named our cat Felix because the name means 'happy and fortunate.' He was about to be put down because he developed a respiratory infection as a kitten which has permanently harmed him, so that he still goes into sneezing fits occasionally. biggrin

I have a Cat named KiKi (and yes I named her before gaia made cat on gaia)
I got her from the Humane Society. (They named her)

I love my dogs. A few years ago I got my dog Little Girl. I started after Lucky (who my Gaia character is named after) was hit by a car. She was about a year old and she didn't make it. I was devestated and my mom told me she'd get me another dog.
Well she never did. A few years later my mom took me, my little sister, and my friend to get a movie and before we got in the store we noticed that there were a whole bunch of dogs outside of Petsmart. So we ran over there to look at the dogs.
The first dog I noticed was a beautiful Chow mix. He had bright red fur with large brown and black spots that seemed to mix into his fur. He was gergouse. The next dog I saw was a German Shepard. Me being a German Shepard lover was drawn to the dog and I sat on the ground next to her for hours. (Literatly)
Mom finally got tired of sitting there so she told us we were leaving. We started to drive away and I couldn't take my eyes off the German Shepard. The lady that was trying to get us to adopt the dog had said she was from Texas, 16 hours away from where I live. I watched the dog untill we pulled ou of the parking lot. I still don't know what made my mom turn around, but she did.
We got back to the store and they had me walk the German Shepard (Little Girl) around the. She was an amazing dog and walked on the leash so easily. I came back out of the store and my mom told me that I was getting two dogs.
The lady had told her Little Girl and Bango's story.
The girl was an animal rescue volunteer. She'd been driving to work on a dirt road when Bango (the red chow) had steped out in front of her car. He was so hungry and she felt so bad for him, and she turned around and drove home to get food.
She brought it back but this time bango didn't come out. She got out of her car and looked around and noticed a hollow openeing under a bush on the side of the road. She looked into it and found Bango and Little Girl under there. So she feed them and about that time a mail car pulled up.
A lady stepped out and saw Little Girl and Bango and said (No joke.) "Those dogs are still here. I hit them about three days ago and I thought they would have left by now." She went on to say that she wanted Little Girl, but the rescue lady won't let her take her.
The mail lady ended up leaving and the other lady took Bango and Little Girl to the vet.
Little Girl suffers from a broken leg. They said they couldn't fix it and that she'll have bad arthridus. Anyways she can get around on it pretty well. She loves to play and she's my girl.
Bango didn't have any broken bones but he had injuries that they counldn't find. He was a sweet dog and he loved people. I'd sit outside with him and he'd stand over my lap and stare at me. Bango was a great dog and last summer he died.
It was really sad. Little Girl had never been without him so we got her a new puppy for her to play with. They get along great. Allie our mix puppy is always full of energy and she's a great pup.

Gosh there were so many sad stories in the first coupla pages i couldnt read more. I have had animals my whole life but i won't share the endings.
I had a beautiful striped cat, Savage, who was afraid of everything when I adopted her but grew to be brave and strong. She liked to rip apart my toilet paper, socks and anything else she could get to while I was not home. She was my friend for 21 years and I miss her still, 10 years later.
Currently, I have one cat (we rent an apartment otherwise i'd get more animals). She adopted my husband, Tom and eventually accepted me as well. She came w the name Daschel, according to a neighbor. But her name has slowly evolved to reflect her personality and her beautiful dreamsickle (orange and white), manx (no tail) appearance.
Her name is... Senator Tom's Cat-Lambbutt, Cougarface, Bateared, Tamarineyed-Daschel.(i hope her pic comes thru)

I luv animals!!!!!!! I have two cats, Stripey and Evenrude, a dog, Dory, and two Hermit Crabs, Axl and Hermit, I used to have two birds, Birdie and Blueberry, and I also used to have another hermit crab, violet.

I have 5 cats. Their names are Buddah, Patches, Jade, momma kitty, and tiger. Then I have some fish.
I used to have a dog and a pet rat, but they passed about a year ago.
