"Exactly... Erm, wait... Let me even see if Nathan's home, if he's not we'll be eating leftovers or take out..." With that, the SM scooted (bounded) off through a random door way in the living room, where the two of them had last ended up.
Leaving Rora there for several long minutes alone, he finally came back after searching all the usual spaces, blushing slightly and breathing heavily as if he had been sprinting.
"Not here..." He gasped out sadly, face matching his emotion. "I'd talk to X but she's... Not doing well..."

"All right." Aurora watched him race off, grinning. He was kinda cool!
She glanced around while he was gone, curious about the house. It was hard not to be, Aurora didn't visit many homes and the ones she had visited were all very different from each other.
Rora heard the breathing and sound of someone coming back before she'd seen him. "Well... Takeaway's something I hadn't had for ages, and leftovers always taste almost as good. So it isn't that bad!"

He nodded, thinking for a moment before answering with an unsure grin. "I don't have any money, X usually handles it all... but Jack's ...gone and mum's... here but 'sick'... Actually it's just a big mess..."
Shrugging, he leaned back and ran a hand through his hair before frowning at the large amount of baggage she had. "You going somewhere? I'm not making you late am I?"
All he was trying to do was be nice, even though he really had nothing to offer her.

"Oh, I didn't know she was sick too?" Aurora sighed, and shrugged. "I can live without eating, it's not like I haven't skipped dinners before."
Aurora glanced down at her baggage, and shrugged again. "Yea, but I'm not going to be late. I... left early, for reasons, and now I've got spare time. I was going to shop, but I really don't need anything."

"Sick, something like that... You should eat though, but I don't have anything to offer you except a banana, or an apple..." He gave her a hopeful look as if apples and bananas would peak her interest. Maybe?
"Shoppings fun though. Will you go shopping where you're going to?" Slush was rather excited considering that he had nothing to offer her for food yet had already invited her to dinner.

"I eat, sometimes. I'm heading to Greece, and I'm going to have no choice but to eat a lot there." Aurora grinned weakly. "But I do love bananas."
She shrugged. "I was told we do get to shop sometimes, but it's not the same there. I'm going to live with Amazons, so live's going to be very different."

"Interesting... I think Adrian speaks Greek, but I can only assume that he's cursing us in it because other than that he speaks English... But let me get you that banana."
With that the SM bounded off into the kitchen, reappearing minutes later with not one but TWO bananas for Aurora, grinning from ear to ear as he presented them to her. "For the road?" Slush made sure to give her a begging pout-grin in the meantime.

"He does speak Greek." Aurora told Slush, unable to stop herself from glancing around again in case she saw the dark skinned teenager watching. "Really well, too."
She grinned when two bananas were brought out, it was a very sweet guesture. "Thankyou! I might need one later, a full stomach helps me with nerves."

"Good! M'glad I could help!" His eyes tilted towards the clock before he made a nervous glance towards upstairs, speaking when his sight returned to Rora. "Eh, I best go... Need to check on mum, I'm really worried about her..."
In fact, it showed in Slush's features just how tired he looked, bags under his eyes and a very tired look despite the smile he wore. "You can stay if you want, but I must go... It was nice meeting you if you do leave."
With that, the fushia haired SM waved and took off to the stairs, taking them two at a time with quite ease before disappearing from sight.

A day or so passed after Elijah had come to visit before Zanna actually took him up on his offer, picking up a pen and paper, chewing on the former a little before putting it to the paper and writing.Letter to Elijah 'Lijah- Eh, I don't really write letters much but you said to do it, so here I go, it's not like I have much better to do anyways. I've already thrown all of my knives and they're all adorning the wall. Anyways, thanks for coming over and visiting me even though the drugs started fuzzing my brain towards the end of the visit, don't really remember you leaving. Oh! I'm getting the walking cast put on tomorrow, so I'll be able to crutch around and get the ******** out of this house on my OWN. Maybe you can come visit again, so I can oogle your tattoos off of the major drugs. I told Sevati to wait for your response before coming back, so just whistle for her when you're done if you leave her outside. But.. if you let her inside, make sure to let her out to hunt or she'll eat a family pet I'm sure. Um... I don't know what else to write, I'm not too good with this letter writing thing. I'd much rather train or something more my style. Eh, hope this is good enough for your feathery a**. Get out more, and I'll see you soon hopefully. -Zanna She slipped the letter into an envalope and was about to seal it when she eyed the picture Slush had brought her of her. Cringing, she wrote a little extra on the letter and stuffed the picture into it. At least she wouldn't have to bloody look at herself anymore. Gods she looked so girlie! Maybe Elijah would get a kick out of it and then she could kick his a**, crutches or not!Letter con't P.S. Someone snapped this of me and I thought I'd show you, don't really wanna keep it since I'm not keen on staring at pictures of myself. Burn it if you want, it's yours. Sealing the letter, she attached it to around Sevati's neck and nudged her to the window, "Remember the boy with the wings? Take this to him for me?"
With an agreeable hoot, the bird flapped and pushed off of her hand, disappearing into the distance.
God damn why couldn't things be easier and less ******** confusing?

Baqir
"Hello~~~~o!" Ravi skipped around the room, looking at all the moving doors as several of her sprockets orbitted around her. "Hello?" No answer. "Hello~~o!" Hmph. She hated being ignored.
Squatting down, she patted the carpet; it felt weird, kind of ticklish. Ravi ran both hands across the carpet, giggling.
The sprockets were utterly disinterested in the carpeting. They instead zoomed behind the counter to say hello to all their "relatives," who were safely contained in the tubes.
Ravi, completely oblivious, laid down on the carpet and proceeded to make "carpet angels," even though they didn't last at all. It just felt neat. "Wish we had something like this at my house," she mumbled, flopping an arm above her head and laying still. It tickled.
After Slush had insisted and begged, Zanna had agreed to go out on the crutches shopping, but only if he drove the two. They ended up at the forge where she had bought her knife, which was once again strapped to her 'belt' of sorts. Her spear was sadly missing, but instead she had a whole shleugh of throwing knives strapped to her upper thigh over her capris.
The 'walking' cast was pretty new, but the teen was quite thankful for it, since she was no longer restricted to a bed and helplessness.
Once they arrived, she thanked her older brother for a ride and then shushed him off with a time to pick her back up, and he gave a cheery wave before driving off. Pushing her way in through the door, the Simu managed somehow to cleanly enter with the crutches, which she had gotten very used to, and upon seeing the girl on the floor, her eyebrow crooked and she debated whether she should 'accidentally' thwack her with a crutch as she walked by.
Ravi turned her head to the side when the door opened, and waved at the girl, not embarrassed in the slightest. "Heyya!" she said, sitting up, the green and blue feathers that passed for her hair pointing every which way. "I'm Ravi."
She looked up at the much older girl, noting the crutches and the brace of throwing knives. "Wow... Mom only carries that many weapons when she's going someplace scary." Ravi's seven-year-old eyes looked up in plain awe at someone who'd go dangerous places on crutches.
"Zanna." She replied simply as her gaze moved back to the little girl's face, eyebrow quirking in amusement when the girl commented on her weapons. Chuckling, the teen responded with a crooked smirk, "I usually have more... I like them..."
Suddenly, before she could say anything more, an bladed giant gear came flying towards her from across the room. Zanna's eyes widened before her hand instinctively grasped her knife, which she acurately chucked at the cog, catching it between one of its slots and sending it back against the wall. The knife solidly had it pinned against the wall where it was struggling to get free.
This made Zanna smirk at it before looking at Ravi, "See... they're good to have on you..."
"Oooooh." Ravi got up and fluffed out the pink-feathered tail that had started growing since her last trip to the forge. "You are so cool, Zanna."
She warily approached the cog. "It's so much bigger than my sprockets. I wonder where it came from..." Ravi giggled. "Well, something more specific than 'here,' I mean."
A hissing noise came from the cog as the little girl approached, she wasn't strong enough for him. "Weak," was his evaluation of the girl, a rattling noise coming from the fandangle as he attempted to free himself from the knife.
Zanna's curiousity was perked and she crutched foreward to the metal pinned against the wall, head cocking to the side to examine it. "Why were you trying to attack me?" And why the ******** could this thing talk? But she didn't ask this of it.
"You are strong. We work together. Stronger." The center stone glowed a warm purple as he spoke to the teen, as if trying to coax her to take him with her.
Weak? Well, yeah, she was tiny. It wasn't like she could bench press a truck or something. She backed off a bit, since it would be rude to crowd and the big sprocket-like thing didn't look like it liked her.
From the same direction came a high pitched squeal. The sprockets behind the counter perked up as it streaked past.
"PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!"
Ravi jumped back and ducked as the new cog zoomed past and began to circle.
"Play! Play now! Nownownow!" Ravi was actually getting a bit dizzy.
"Stop!" Ravi raised her hands into the path of the cog and it stopped on a dime, barely brushing her hand.
"Pla~ay," it said petulantly.
"No wonder that one's annoyed," she commented, peering closely at the one in front of her and poking at it like she didn't have the opportunity for the other cog.
Satoshi poked his head into the shop, an ear twitching anxiously. It looked as though some sort of battle was going on here, and he and his cog had only wanted to meet some other Fandangles and their bonded.
"Hello? Is something wrong here?"
Zanna's hand went to the knife's hilt, grasping it as she gave the cog a warning stare, "Try anything, and I'm taking you to the scrapyard."
The cog seemed to understand, growing still as the teen pulled the knife out of the wall and thus freeing the cog, who began to whirl around his 'master'. "Buy friends for more strength." He jabbed lightly at the teen's back before motioning towards the sprockets behind the counter, ignoring the screechy cog that zipped by.
The teen just sighed and brushed her hand to the side before resheathing her knife, "Sure whatever, I'll put it on mum's account..." Her eyes drifted to the screaching cog, causing her to crutch away from how... excited it was.
Maybe it was time to go...
"Play, not poke," the cog said, nudging back at Ravija's finger.
"Nope!" Ravi said cheerfully, waving at the new person. "I'm Ravija, this is Zanna," she said, pointing to the other girl, "and it looks like some of the shop's stuff wants to play."
The cog bobbled in the air. It was getting somewhere. "Yesyes, play! Now!"
Zanna gave the boy a wave as she turned around in her crutches, whirlling cog staying behind her as he flashed his center towards the back of the store. Once that was done he spun around to the front of Zanna, heading towards the door anxiously. "We leave. Now."
The teen Simu just shrugged and crutched after it, since it was about time for her ride to be here anyways. Giving another wave to the two she was leaving, she disappeared outside.
As soon as the cog had her attention, a swarm of sprockets appeared from behind the counter, some of which held the handles to a bag, carrying the data CDs and cleaning supplies with them as well. Zooming after the girl quickly to make it through the closing door, the flock zipped through the door crack, Indiana Jones style.

"So what's your name?" Zanna was once again bored, sitting on her 'bed' and practicing with her throwing knives as the cog inspected each and every one of the sprockets he had snuck home with them. Most of the 'inspecting' involved the angry and violent chasings and captures of said sprockets.
"Baqir," it growled as it pinned Zanna's love sprocket to the wall with one of its bladed edges, iliciting a sprocket-like wail from the tiny thing. Like Zanna really cared. "Means 'to rip apart'."
Oh well that explained a lot. Her eyes glanced around at the chaos ensuing around her due to seventy odd sprockets being shoved all into a not so large room together. At least it was entertaining her?
There were seven identical designed sprockets that seemed to be helping Baqir rough up, sort through, and capture the other sprockets. "Why aren't you inspecting those?" The Simu asked as she threw another throwing knife, catching one of said sprockets midair and pinning it to the wall.
This was good target practice!
"They speak my language." Baqir quickly spun around and freed 'Monday' from the wall Zanna had imprisoned him against, shucking the throwing knife aside, which was quickly snatched up by the magnetism sprocket. The sprocket then zipped over to Zanna and pulled another knife against him with a victorious beep, and with that, the sprocket began to spin at a rather incredible speed as it darted about and avoided the combat sprockets and Baqir.
Every so often a puff of fire or ice would spout from a spinning, beeping sprocket that was flying around while playing 'tag' with Baqir, who was becoming quickly annoyed at the entire situation.
The more Baqir became annoyed, the more amused the teen was becoming. She was trying to see how many sprockets she could get nailed up on the wall before the Monday through Sunday and/or Baqir would come and 'capture' them and evaluate them.
After a while, the sprokets had taken to hiding in various places in the room while the magnetism sprocket continued its campaign around the the small containment.
In all honesty the room sounded like a giant arcade exploding it to masses of strange lights and clanks.
Zanna was becoming quite fond of the weave sprocket however, which had taken to braiding her hair back and out of her face. Nifty and quite useful.
Looking up, the Simu noticed that four of the armed sprockets, two oil and two cleaning, seemed to have attacked Baqir with furious rubbings and whistles.
The fandangle didn't seem too pleased with the interruption and spun angrily to try and chuck the four sprockets off of him. Needless to say, the four were determined to finish their jobs and held on like a bullrider on a raging bull.
Other than the combat sprockets, there was one other that seemed to be set on helping Baqir, and that was the data sprocket, who was apparently cataloging each and every sprocket as well as the name that Baqir was giving them.
After a while, the drugs Zanna was on started to set in and she groggily drifted off to sleep, amist an entire room of curious, antsy sprockets.
This was only the beginning.

Solo forced open the door to the HQ and grudginly moved inside. It had been a few weeks since he had been here, but then again the commotion being made at him home was starting to make this place seem like a godsend. Besides, since Kunny had bought his guardian a new place, he now had a longer walk to the HQ which meant more time for him to be by himself.
After firmly shutting to door, the kitsune tossed himself lazily down onto the nearest beanbag chair, and stared out the window. The building seemed empty for the moment, but it usually filled up when he arrived. It was the most annoying thing. Like people were always watching him, waiting for any chance they could get to come over and pounce him or something.
It took a while for Solo to come back to reality, and as soon as he did he readjusted his knife on his belt so that it wouldn't cut into the beanbag, and pulled a book out of his back pocket, thumbing through the pages to find his last spot.
Zanna had to get out of her room, and the house even. Sadly, Baqir had insisted on coming with, saying that he must be there in case someone tried to fight her. Something about him needed to practice and log fight styles or something like that.
So she headed to Fa'e HQ, which was closer to her house than the Simulacra shoppe was, and thusly she crutched herself in that direction. Once she arrived, Zanna turned the door knob and pushed a bit before she moved back and supported herself on her crutches as she swung and kicked the door open with her good leg.
Jamming the nearest crutch in the way almost immediately, it caught the door from slamming into her as it bounced back, and she entered quite easily, using the same sort of method to close the door.
Baqir immediately moved to zip around the explosion of orange on the beanbag, 'evaluating' the Fa'e as he whirred. "Threat. Minimal."
Solo's ears twitched as he heard a strange voice speak. He narrowed his eyes at the cog that had entered the HQ in annoyance. Threat minimal? Damn cog, he was at least skilled enough with his blade to take a good chunk out of it if he tried. And got close enough.
Meh, whatever.
It took him a few moments to notice who the cog was with. Staring at Zanna in a bit of perplexity for a moment, it took him a second to realize who it was.
Last time he had seen her...
Argh. God damn females. What was with them and kissing him?! She'd better not try it this time, though.
And anyway, she looked older. And her leg was in a cast, which meant it was probably broken. Finally, he said, 'What the hell happened to you?"
"What the ******** do you think happened to it darling? Broke it, in three places." She rolled her eyes and grinned as she crutched within crutch-beating distance, in case he decided to take advantage of her 'weakness'. Tilting her head to the side, she let her eyes look over him again, coming to the knife on his belt with a chuckle.
"Nice knife..." The teen was being honest, had a love for well made weapons and whatnot, one of the many reasons why she had so many of her own. "So what have you been up to shortie?"
Baqir stopped orbiting the child and took to hovering between the two in case he had the chance to saw orangy's arm off. "Change in evaluation. Threat. Non-existant." He meant threat to Zanna due to his position between the two, but felt no need to explain that.
The news about her leg having been broken make the kitsune Fa'e cringe slightly. He hated pain like that, and took all routes to avoid it.
Noticing it as it moved in front of the girl, Solo hissed slightly at the cog, but decided to ignore the thing as much as possible. He was used to having to ignore Qlon. But Qlon tended to try to be quiet. This one seemed like it would try to be as insulting as possible.
"Training to fight Aadil," he said as bluntly as possible, focusing on Zanna again. "Unfortunately it isn't going as smoothly as I would have hoped." He sighed inwardly, and subconciously pulled an illusion around himself and shifted the color of his hair and feathers to a dark green.
"Trying to be a tree?" She smirked at Solo and then whacked Baqir out of the way when she noticed the kid hiss at it. Stupid chunk of metal.
"Minor illusion." The cog mentioned as it was butted out of the way, center gem glowing in irritation.
"I miss training, I can't do it much since I broke my leg. The most I've been able to do is practice with my throwing knives..." The teen motioned towards the wrap around 'holister' of sorts around her upper right thigh, which was full to the brim with said knives. "Who's teaching you?" Though Zanna hadn't really needed a trainer, everything coming quite naturally to her and through watching X and Jack spar, this kid may not be so lucky.
"A tree? Feh." The kitsune changed the color from green to black, and decided to leave it at that no matter what she said. As long as all the orange was gone, he was fine.
"Anyway, I don't have anyone to train me. Everyone I've asked has turned me down, usually at my guardian's orders." Aylee honestly didn't want him fighting, even though she had bought him the knife. But it didn't matter. He trained anyway, irregardless of what Aylee said.
"Your guardian doesn't want you training? Hmm... I guess I could help you out, though I can't do too much as far as sparring goes... Even though I could kick your scrawny Tropicana a** as I stand before you..." The girl gave him a smug grin as she tapped the beanbag with the bottom of her right crutch with an amused chuckle.
"What does this Aadil fight with anyways? First step to winning a fight is to know your oponent's weaknesses..."
Baqir seemed to be sulking that he was being ignored and immediately began to spin violently into an empty bean bag, tearing it to shreds and sending static filled little white balls everywhere. When they stuck to him, the cog whirled with anger and frustration before attacking the bean bag again.
Zanna just raised her eyebrow and ignored the tantrum Baqir was throwing, besides, it was amusing to see all the little white balls get stuck in all of her cogs nooks and crannies.
"Knife... close range..." She murmered to herself as she thought for a moment before grinning, "And you use the same? You should probably use something not close range... because that'll give him more chances to hit you, since you'll both need to be in eachother's faces to do damage... "
Now she was just rambling to herself, ignoring the cog who continued to flail (as much as a gear can flail) about in attempts to get the stubborn static balls free of his slots.
Baqir ignored Solo's comment and instead scooped up a bunch of static balls, and flung them at Solo's face and in his hair. This just brought the cog back to square one in his de-balling from earlier, which caused him to become even more enraged and tear up more of the poor bean bag.
Solo shook his head both in annoyance at Baqir and in answer to what Zanna had said, "No, I have very bad aim, unfortunately, and I don't think it's something that I can improve." Technically he was just bad at weaponry in general. None of it came naturally to him at all.
Brushing some of the white balls from his hair, he turned back to Baqir again, giving the cog a look at would kill, if looks could do so. What was its problem?! Did it not understand that it was RUDE to shower people in beanbag innards?
"There's usually room to improve, even for you Tropicana. It just takes a lot more practice than it may for others..." She shrugged and moved her eyes towards the rather agressive cog, watching it for a moment before unsheathing her knife and sending it sharply towards Baqir for the second time.., This time, she pinned him against the floor at an odd angle, but pinning him ******** stay there..." Her eyes rolled before she brought them back to Tropicana, ignoring the struggles of the cog pegged nearby.
"Cannot compute '********'. Release me now!" There was a rattling noise as the the fandangle attempted to jar itself free from the knife.

Elijah had read the letter carefully and twice over, folding it back up in the way it originally came. The photo he'd carefully stuck on the inner side of his closet door, the one place he could trust that no one other than himself would actually take a look at. Scrambling around, trying his best to be inconspicuous about his intentions, Elijah gathers the proper materials to write the returning letter. He left the window open, dragged a stool over to the shared desk space - the chair actually meant for it is currently covered in random articles of clothing, carelessly tossed in the available space. Trying to use his best legiable handwriting, he takes pen to paper: Elijah Zanna, I got your letter fine, and it seems that Sevati's feeling better. You were in a pretty rough state last I saw you, but I'm glad to hear you're doing better than that. Must've been a rough fall to keep you missing in action for so long. If you're getting out again, I wouldn't mind making room in my schedule to meet up, if you're up for something like that. More than likely, I'm just better company when you're too drugged up to mind. But, I've got a few more tats for you to lay eyes on; could spark some interest that way. I'm no good at this writing crap either, it's much easier to say stuff in person. Just give the yay or nay on getting together again. I'm sure there isn't anything I'm doing that'd be more important than spending time with you, anyway. ~Elijah [Don't kid yourself - burning a picture that gorgeous would be some kind of sin or something.] Not quite satisfied with his choice of words - he'd never been a deep thinker, and the whole concept of getting what he needed to say down on paper really doesn't strike him the way to go. Nevertheless, he folded the paper in half, marking a line across the fold and the end of the paper for no apparent reason. Zanna's owl friend has returned through the open window, done hunting it seems. He gives her a slight, warm smile, kneeling down beside his cot to achieve an eye level with Sevati. Searching his memory quickly for which leg had been broken, he chooses the opposite to tie the note to. "You can go back now," he says, feeling slightly daft for speaking to a bird and assuming it'll understand.
