Aoi Shinu Dillan followed after Jelly, going out the door and down the stairs, then over the lake to the shore. Honestly he didn't know much about hunting and gathering anything besides fish, but he'd put his best foot forward.
"So what do we need before the winter? Berries? Meat? And wood so we can build onto the house."
"We need certain plants, fruits, meat and yes wood." Jellylorum said smiling at the other. He was making an effort despite the fact he didn't even know what he was supposed to do. "Do you have a town near here?"
That was the most shocking thing she'd ever said. The trickster, the thief, the adorable Jellylorum was actually suggesting they go INTO a town instead of AWAY from it. Supposedly that indicated she was going to be nice and PAY for everything, a rare change indeed.

"Lexander!" Iki's voive rose a bit, as she pictured it in her mind, "My, wouldn't that be wonderful? Yes, it would be like a beautiful homecoming of sorts just like you hear about with families. Yes...It would be lovely to do just that."
Her eyes glittered a moment, thinking about the two of them going to the temple, and coming back to the library to a family waiting for them to spend time with for the holidays.

"A town? Well..yeah I think there's one just outside the woods over there. I've never been in it but I assume that's where some of these kats around here get their fancy clothes and furniture and stuff. Why, should we go there?"
He supposed they could find more of a variety in some shops...and he did always have money on him (mainly just to feel a little rich...and it was usually stolen from victems of his tricks).

Aoi Shinu Mor raised his brow at the femme. The truth was that he adored his mother, and the fact that this girl disliked her did not please him. As always though, he kept his cool composure.
"My name is Mor Moi," and the surname he said with a great deal of pride.
"I don't know what side of my mother you saw, but I can assure you that she is among the strongest women in Faetasia. You'd fare well to give her another go. She quick tempered, but it could be that you insulted her."
She was closer to him. She bent down and plopped down on the ground to take a look at her injured foot. Spotting the the cut and a few splinters she went to work on removing them wincing just a bit.

"If there are any rabbits there eating our vegetables, then we'll just have to eat the rabbits instead."
Fallyn grinned and followed her mate to where the veggies sprouted from the ground. She didn't expect much with the weather getting so cold.

"hmm.."
More grimaced.
"That doesn't look like the most healthy thing in the world."
He sighed and stood up, leading her past the gates.
"Come inside then and let's get that foot cleaned up properly."

It had been a nice walk, but the day was waxing thin. The air was getting colder, and the last thing he wanted was for Iki to catch a cold. He helped her the way home and set about to prepare for their journey. As they got inside the house, he called over to her. "Now, Iki. We might not be back here for a while, so be sure to take everything you even think you may want with you." He walked over to her and kissed her forehead gently. It was obvious his excitement at doing this.

Aoi Shinu "Mmmm...peach pie sounds delicious! And I've got some good plump peaches in the kitchen too."Lime hurried into the kitchen to work, leaving her company alone with Parfait Parrot. Parfait flew down and perched on a tall tree-like structure next to the sofa. "Have a seat, Mimi. You'll love this peach pie. Lime Chiffon is one of the best pie makers around!" ((sorry I forgot about this rp ^^;;; )) Mimi smiled and sat down "Your a cute little bird" she nodded and patting the little cretures head lightly "Parfait right? You sort of remind me or someone or something...Gah! But my memorys so fuzzy it kinda hurts thinking about it to long!" she grinned nearvously "so shes doesn't need any help then?"

Iki nodded her head enthusiastically. She was excited about spending time in the temple and hurried upstairs. The sooner they left the sooner she could see a temple for the first time. Iki didn't have many belongings other than what had already been in the room when she moved in. She simply packed her chest full of all the things she'd brought along in the first place: clothing, combs, make-up, fans, and all the other things that had kept her well enough since she came to this island in the first place. She called out the door,
"I have everything, Lexander! I think I will be quite well off at the temple."

"Oh, no! Lime Chiffon is probably the best pie baker in all of Faetasia. Just you wait, she'll be done any minute now."
And as if on cue, Lime hurried back out of the kitchen with a pie nestled between two oven-mitted hands.
"All ready!" Lime chimed as she set the pie down and Parfait flew back into the kitchen to fetch some plates. When he returned, Lime served the tree of them and sat down beside her new friend.
"Now don't hold back. Tell me exactly what you think of it."

Mimi nodded "it smells great!" she said before takeing the first bite "...Mmmm!!" she squeeked while savoring the sweet bit of pie "Oh wow how did you make it so good!"

"The trick is to make everything fresh from scratch!"
Lime smiled proudly and stuffed a fork-full of peach pie into her mouth.
"Mmmmmmm."
Parfait was quiet for the first time all day, eating his pie like a bird who hadn't eaten in days (although he'd had a full helping of pumpkin pancakes just that morning).

Mimi nodded and kept on eating her oiece of pie, a few minutes later it was all gone "that was great! Do you need like any help cleaning uo at all?"

Fallyn smirked at her mate and turned to the bunny.
"Well, it'll make a great stew for another day. We need to stock up for the winter, afterall."
She put her things down and darted after the creature, catching it in mid-hop and using a claw to kill the thing. It was cute, and she looked at its little face for a moment, before taking it back and stuffing it in their sack.
"Alright, let's get these veggies and go home. Those boys of ours are probably starved half to death."

"Oh, that would be fantastic! Come on into the kitchen, we just need to wash and dry these plates and put them away."
Lime picked up the plates and led the way. The kitchen was small, but homey and smelled wonderful. You could tell it was used often. Parfait took his spot on a perch on the counter, where he could sit and take the plates after they'd been dried to put them away in the high cupboards.

"Okay, and I'll dry them, then Parfait Parrot can put them away!"
Lime Chiffon grabbed a dish towel and stood beside Mimi, taking the plates as she finished washing them and dried them well. She then handed each one up to Parfait, who flew them up to their place at the top of the cupboard.
"You two make a great team."
