The Professor shakes his head. "No it doesn't. Although these are the only starters available in the Sinnoh region. You can start out in the Kanto, Johto, or Hoenn region, and get a starter from there if that is what you wish. You can go to the other Professors' labs and see what they offer for starting Pokemon. You can choose whichever you want that is offered in that lab."

Kevin took the pokeball shakily.
"W-wow. My first pokemon." He said, he then took it outside and let it out of it's pokeball.
He then rouched down to see Piplup at eye level.
"Hey there piplup, im Kevin, your trainer. I think I'll call you... Terri." He said, The Piplups face seemed to brighted slightly.
"Okay, then' your name is Terri." Kevin said, smiling. Terri then jumped up onto Kevins head and sat down, having a happy look on it's face.
Kevin smiled and headed to Twinleaf Town to show his folks and train Terri.
