my fav rpg of all time i suppose would have to be Mother 2 (Earthbound). i love that game so much! i think i'm gonna play it over again today razz i'm bored n_n domokun domokun heart

Aea My favorite rpg is King's Quest for computer (to be more specific, KQ 6) Has anyone heard of King's Quest?
I've been hankering to get my hands on the Sierra Collections games for a while (They released collections of KingsQuest, SpaceQuest, Leisure Suit Larry etc.). They're not quite as sophisticated as The Longest Journy (Which I highly recommend - It's my favourite game. Period.), but they're pretty awesome.
RPG games? I like the first few Final Fantasy games that came out in North America. You know, when they relied on kickass story lines, rather than skimpy clothing. I haven't played the more recent ones, but I've been told they're crappy. I've yet to get my hands on a copy to see for myself, though.

Disgaea if strategy RPGs count, Final Fantasy 7 if not.
...it's weird, I always cringe slightly when saying FF7's one of my favourite games. I guess that's because it's associated with screaming fanboys now, like Halo. sweatdrop

I like the Shadowhearts series. Shadowhearts isn't quite as good as Shadowhearts 2 but I like it all the same. And Shadowhearts Journey to a New World comes out NEXT MONTH!

It's all about Final Fantasy 2/4.
It was the first RPG that showed me what RPGs could be. The sprites sucked, but that left so much open to the imagination and for interpretation. I love to see the fan art from that game. I also learned how to draw thanks to Rydia.
And I mean, a game on the SNES where you not only get an air ship, go to various locales, but you have tons of drama and you go underground and to the moon. OMG! How could anyone not love that game, unless you're finding out about it after FF7. Then it's probably not advanced enough. xp

Even though FF7 got me hooked on RPGs,my favorite of all time is Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.
