Raelen giggled and looked around her room, blushing lightly. It was very feminine in the sense that she had stuffed animals placed randomly around, and things that she had had since her childhood. The walls were a nice beige color, and her blankets were dark reds and blacks. She wrinkled her nose lightly, but cutely. "I'm not very good with color schemes, so see, even the queen has her flaws," she giggled out softly.

Byakko chuckled and kissed her cheek. "It looks perfect to me because its all yours." He walked over to the bed and laid her down on it gently. He smiled to her in a kind manner. "Now you get comfy here. I am going to clean everything up and lock up and turn off lights and things for you okay?"

Raelen purred as she was laid down onto the bed, nodding her head lightly. "Alright," the feline replied gently, tail curling down one of her legs. She got comfortable beneath the blankets, laying on her back to stare up at the ceiling, the window open to allow a soft breeze into the room so that it wouldn't get too stuffy.

Byakko was quick to move around the house, cleaning all that he could for her. He shut the doors, locking up for the night before turning off the lights and heading towards Raelen's room. His light blue eyes peeked in. Was she still awake? It had taken him at least 20 minutes to settle the house down for the night.

Raelen's eyes were shut, but she hadn't drifted to sleep yet. It always took her awhile to fall asleep. She opened her eyes again, and turned her head towards the window with a light smile on her face. Things had been so perfect lately, and now they were bound to be even better than before. "Byakko...?" She called quietly once the house had went silent, no longer hearing cleaning or doors and windows being shut and locked.

The hawk elder was quick to answer her. "I'm here, Raelen." He then moved into the room, shutting the door behind him. He walked over to her and smiled down at her softly. "I didn't want to wake you if you were sleeping." He stood at the side of her bed. The thought of him laying beside her still could make him blush.

"Oh," she responded quietly, feeling a heat building up on her cheeks. Her mind worried on if he wanted to share the bed or not, there was enough room for both of them to lay down, and have a large space inbetween them.

Byakko was growing annoyed with himself. Why should he be this nervous?! He had no vulgar intentions. This was fine! He sat down on the edge of the bed, and unclasped his cape from himself, revealing hidden wings underneath. He then came to lay down ontop of the covers and he smiled to her. "Thank you for sharing your home with me."

Raelen smiled lightly and purred lightly, nodding her head slightly. "You're welcome to stay here whenever you like," the feline murmured lightly. After all, they were mates now. She closed her eyes lightly. "Byakko, what do you think about a wedding? Not saying that we need one, of course!" She said quietly, turning her head to look at him.

He looked at her. "But of course we need one!" A smile was on the male's lips. He knew how women dreamed of their wedding days with a delight. He was not about to take her dream away. "I think a wedding would be wonderful. But first," He reached behind him to his wings and winced lightly as he pulled out a feather, handing over the dark blue object to her. "Until I can get you a proper ring."

Raelen smiled before sitting up, blinking and staring wide-eyed at him. Gently taking the dark blue feather, she lightly ran a finger on it, making sure not to mess it up in any way. "This seems to mean more than a ring," Raelen said lightly as she reached up, carefully tying it into her hair.

"Well a ring is harder since it must be bought and be perfect in my eyes for you. A feather from my wings.. that is simple as I grew that one." Byakko sat up as well and took her hand into his as he smiled warmly. "I promise I will find you the most perfect ring I can. Until then, that feather is all I have to offer as a symbol of my love and devotion to you." He felt bad for not having more.

"It means just as much when it's coming from you, so I still accept gladly," Raelen said lightly with a soft smile at the words that followed, along with the tender holding of her hand. "I'll have to think of the perfect way to show you my love and devotion in return," she murmured lightly with a small purr, smiling happily.

"Just you being near me is more then enough for me." Byakko then pulled her hand to his lips, kissing her knuckles sweetly. He then let her hand slide from his as she smiled to her, affection in his face. "Now you should be resting, dear Raelen. You worked so hard today; you deserve some sleep."

Raelen purred softly and smiled, nodding as she slowly laid back down onto her back, one arm gently resting across her stomach and the other resting across her forehead. Slowly, her purr began to become quieter as she slipped off into sleep.
