"Haha..." she half laughed, half sobbed. "I-I'm so sorry, Shinku! I'm just so happy!" she sobbed, wiping her eyes, but only having more tears fall. She felt so crazy, yet it felt really good. She could tell how happy Shinku was by looking in his eyes.
"W-well, shall we l-leave?" She stuttered, wiping her eyes as she carefully broke away from Shinku. She had a wide smile on her face, much like a little girl's, and, even though she broke away, she still wanted to be close to Shinku. She felt herself grabing his hands, and standing on her tip-toes as she gave him a kiss. Life from now on would be different, and never the same again. She could not go back on her old life, but change was good.
Yes, Hitomi was fine with change...

Shinku felt himself leaving Hitomi's heart and said quietly. "We should wait a bit, I've a feeling we'll be having two guests of honor tonight..." He said quietly. He had a feeling that The Gyrfalcon and The Silverwing, maybe along with The Kestrel, were going to pay them a visit, and he actually wanted to see those people for once. He was proud he was engaged to such a beautiful young woman like Hitomi. He waited in his private booth as usual, a glass of fresh bourbon on the table in front of him. Besides, if Kleptos was dead, he had no reason to hunt Rivera and Kira anymore. He could open himself to them, maybe even become a friend.

There was a commotion at the door that lasted a few seconds. Rivera walked in, looking a little annoyed at the guy at the door with the bloody nose. "When I say 'no', I mean 'no'. I don't even know you, don't ask me to freaking go out with a stranger!" He was about to say something, but she kicked him soundly in the jaw. "Idiots... Oh. Hey, we're looking for Shinko." Rivera asked one of the attendants. If the sun could change to rain and suddenly back again within two seconds, that would be Rivera's face.

"She said no... So leave us alone you b*****d..." Kira said quietly, after the man, even after being kicked in the jaw, tried to still make an advance. Kira snapped his fingers, darkness engulfed the man, and he was sent straight to the Himalayas. "Let's see if he can find the Abominable Snow Man..." Kira joked lightly.
Shinku heard the massive commotion, then the two voices. He knew those two anywhere. He walked out of his booth for a few minutes. "Kira, Rivera, I've been expecting you two." He called out calmly, without a single not of hatred or anything of that type. He returned to his booth and sat beside Hitomi, taking a sip of his bourbon.

"I expected you to... er... expect us. Use codenames... I don't want to be left exposed." Rivera sighed and tried to dial Sara's cellphone again. It was still turned off. "Have you heard from Kestrel? I haven't seen her anywhere." Rivera suspected Sara might be tracking the Constellation alliance on her own. But she wasn't entirely sure. Sara was on a high level, but not even she should be doing this alone. Rivera was not so nervous about showing her face to Shinku now. Usually, she only showed her face to the assassins in her alliance and the ones that were about to die. Once someone knew her face was out to kill her, she had better kill that person first before a duplicate picture is made.

"Of course I haven't heard from Kestrel, I don't know her as well as you do, Gyrfalcon..." Shinku said simply, smiling lightly as his hand went up and pushed a few red bangs away from his eyes. Kira was tense the whole time, like a cat ready to pounce or a snake coiled and ready to strike. "Kira, you should relax, I'm thinking of leaving assassinations to tell you both the truth... I have a life long committment that says I would be better off living than dead..." He told them, looking at Hitomi's hand for a few seconds. "Well anyways... What's the reason you two are here? Can I offer you both a drink?" He said blandly before continuing on.

"No thanks... my tolerance changed. I'd rather keep my tongue in check." Rivera replied softly. She didn't think Kira had a code. She couldn't remember that he had applied to join the alliance as Silverwing. It was a memory that was still lost to her. "I have to ask you this favor... to stay in the business a little bit longer, just enough to keep the alliance stable. We're being hunted." She stated simply and handed him the needle that bore the Severyn poison. "I was attacked... but I can't seem to find their motive, to take their chance with a poison that was most likely non-fatal. I think they may have wanted one of us alive to question for our HQ... do you recognize it?" The needle's distictive callingcard marking was the red tip.

"Red tip... Hmm... " Shinku took the needle quietly and examined it over and over. "So Silverwing... Your girlfriend was injected with this? I can't believe you couldn't protect your beloved from a small little needle..." Shinku said arrogantly. Kira wanted nothing more than to strike Shinku, perhaps even kill him if he had the chance. The b*****d had caused him and Rivera enough trouble. "You don't have to rub salt in the wound..." He growled to Shinku's smirking face.
"Well it is quite a shame... I was just informed of Kleptos death and one of the Hitmen he had finally stopped tracking me... How long has the a** been dead?" Shinku asked curiously. Then he finally took the time to notice the red tip completely and what it meant. "Well... Seems the Constellation is trying their damnedest alright... Just promise me a big paycheck and I'll protect more than myself and my fiance..." He said simply. "And all I can tell you is that that red dart belongs to one of the best in The Constellation Alliance..." He said simply, handing it back over.
Kira took in everything and then noticed an out of place word. "Wait a minute... FIANCE!? You're getting married!?" Kira was shocked and surprised. "How the hell did this happen! You were an a** at the high school and you had no right to any woman and now all of a sudden you're getting married! How is that possible?" Kira was shouting his surprise.

Hitomi merely sat by quietly, observing the conversation carefully, Emiko also investigating from within Hitomi. Of course, Hitomi hadn't the slightest clue what they were all talking about. And what did Shinku mean when he mentioned giving up the assassination business? He said that he did! Whas she being lied to?
"Shinku, I don't understand what's going on... Are you hiding something?" She asked sheepishly. Gyrfalcon? Silverwing? Kestrel? Her head was spinning. Were all of these people assassins like Shinku? She didn't know anyone around except for Shinku and Emiko. Her eyes, once brightened, sudenly went dull as Emiko left, the etheral just stared blankley, her red eyes darting around excitedly.
How long untill they would notice that Shinku was engaged to Hitomi? Emiko just clenched her fists as she almost bounced in excitement. When she heard kira exclaim the word "fiance", emiko nearly lost her mind as she shouted, "Yeah! He proposed to Miss Hitomi!" She pointed at Htiomi and her face became very flushed.
A brunette neko wandered into the peculiar place, scratching his head like a little boy. Of course, he was 20 years old, but much of a child at heart.his cerulean eyes searched around happily, and he walked into the private seating area. Sure, he wasn't invited in there, but he did what he pleased, because why not? He looked around, looking at a rather strange group of people clusted at a table. He noticed the white-haired girl with curiosity, untill he exclaimed, "Hitomi-chan!" His brown ears twitched as her happily dashed his way towards the girl.
Htiomi blinked, though she couldn't see. She recognized that personality... could it be? "Hiro-san?" she asked timidly as she looke dup to where Hiro was standing. She heard an excited laugh and felt herself be hugged tightly.
Hiro hugged Htiomi tightly as he exclaimed, "I can't believe I found you!! Haha!! It's so good to see you!" Of course, Htiomi was his childhood friend, and they have known eachother since, well, they were toddlers. Of course, he didn't see her around when she was around 13, and when he was 15. "I missed you lots!"

Rivera blinked. Her eyes suddenly narrowed when she heard about the red tip... must be a new calling card. Her memories were coming back slowly. The one constellation contractee she had never been able to defeat because he was a true assassin, not a fighter... the one that always ran before she could land a fatal blow... Not even the news of Shinku having a fiance would phase her. She as all business now. Rivera's innocent tranquility hardened and she seemed to change. The warrior's expression overtook all. One of the best that the constellation has... "Orion... The Hunter..." She quickly wrote the golden symbol of summoning in the air. Vesper appeared instantaneously.
"--And there was--" She had apparently been talking to someone when she was summoned. "Oh, hey Rivera. What's with the face... ?"
Rivera didn't explain. "I need you to change, and find Kestrel."
Vesper blinked, her face growing serious as well. "Change? Which form?"
"Sparrow." Rivera said softly and clearly.
Vesper's eyes widened slightly in surprise, but she knew better than the question the urgency. "As you wish." Almost instantly, a woman about twenty stood before them, with golden-amber hair braided into pigtails. Vesper had a black coat on. It was long enough to completely hide her black shorts if she buttoned it. A wine colored t-shirt went under the coat, plain in design. She wore black sneakers and a belt with a neat row of slender throwing knives on one side and a silencer on the other.
Rivera introduced her. "This is sparrow. We'll say she's my back up." She turned to Vesper and gave her command, "Get Kestrel, and if you can, try to contact Osprey. Give him my cell number, but make sure he's using an untracable phone."
"Consider it done." Vesper nodded and unfurled her dragon wings, ready to take off the moment she exited.
Rivera sighed and tried to dial Sara's number one more time. It was still turned off... what was she doing?

"Yes! Orion was the name of that guy! Or was it a girl...?" Shinku exclaimed, then questioned what he had said. "Well... Regardless... You two are going to be having a bit of fun with this whole thing... So, about that paycheck..." He said with a slight grin.
Kira sighed and said quietly, "Listen, we'll discuss that once everything is done..." He ignored the ghost girl's outburst and sighed. This place is crazier than the high school ever was... He thought.
Shinku noticed the neko with brown hair come in and start chatting with Hitomi. The moment he hugged hitomi, he reached behond the nekos neck and pulled him off of Hitomi, a rather annoyed look on his face. "Kid, what are you doing hugging on my fiance?" He asked. Before continuing anything else he turned to Rivera and Kira and asked, "Is everything done yet?"

"For your information, Shinko... we'll need your help as much as you need ours... in fact, you'll be needing our help more because you're a one-man business. With Kestrel, Sparrow, Osprey and I, we've got four. And I suppose... if we properly train Ki, we'll have five. We have a pretty good advantage against the odds. Chances are we'll survive better than you will. We're simply saying this..." Rivera's eyes were cold. "If you choose not to join us, then fine... but if you cause us any trouble by getting caught or accidentally leaking info..." Rivera's eyes flickered from Shinko to Hitomi, then slowly looked back to him again. "You understand... right? Why don't we say the pay check doesn't exist until you do something of use... and when you do... we'll CONSIDER it."

"Damn... Still such a tough assassin even after you lose your memories..." Shinku groaned. "Alright Gyrfalcon... You've got a deal... And It's Shinku..." He sighed before turning back to his affairs with Hitomi and the neko boy.
"I guess we can leave now?" Kira asked quietly. "Besides... You trained me a bit before we went through the whole death thing... Besides... I'm a little rusty so I guess more training wouldn't hurt..." He said simply.

Rivera sighed and walked away, but not towards the entrance. Instead, she turned into the lounge area and pulled herself into one of the armchairs, curling up as she did. "First step to being an efficient killer. Never work when you're about to fall asleep... I'm still waiting for Sparrow to get back with Kes and Osprey." She murmured and felt her mind slipping away. Her body was still trying to get rid of the contaminants left by the poison's invasion, and that meant it needed lots and lost of rest. "It's times like these that I mess my Teddy Bear." She drifted off.

Kira followed Rivera and put his jacket around her like a blanket. He sighed and walked over to the bar, sitting on one of the stools and ordering a simple glass of vodka. He figured he may as well enjoy a drink or two since he would be there for a while. Afterward, the alchohol started to take its toll and make him sleepy. He walked over to the armchair Rivera was in and squeezed in with her, cuddling her and falling asleep, his wings wrapped protectively around her.
