.....my friend just gave me a bookmark for Christmas....and it's sandalwood scented!! I don't know where she got it..and it's sweet of her, but as I'll never use it, it was sorta a waste I feel.

I use a Perfect Circle piece of paper and for larger books the Eragon bookmark.

Odd as these items may sound to you, I really did use them: toilet paper, band-aids, a pad, bills, reciepts(especially library reciepts), and a torn pice of paper from my notebook.

A friend gave me a card of Sesshoumaru from the Inuyasha TCG so I use it as a bookmark since I don't plan to collect those cards.

Mostly I use movie tickets.
Most recent: King Kong. Because it's my new favorite. biggrin

You know how in a deck of cards there's always one or two extra cards with rules on them? I use those. My current bookmark is an UNO card that isn't part of the deck.

I just got a bookmark that looks like a persian rug. I love it. friends are good, friends that read and understand are better.

I actually collect bookmarks. I have really random ones, ranging from ones with pictures of the Bahamas to little bookmarks from a small tea/book shop in Massachusetts.

I use ripped corners or paper, tissuse, sometimes I Fold homework assignments in order to use them as bookmarks

I have used everything from other books to earrings. I use whatever is closest, really.

I usually don't even use bookmarks because I can never find them, but when I do, it's a pencil or anything that i can shove into my book.

I used to use lil scraps of paper, anything I could find really.
Heaven forbid I dogeared, I woulda hurt myself -.-'
But I bought this nifty lil monkey thing that you clip onto you page and I heart it muchly.
I've had it for 3 years now. surprised

I've gotten into the habit of using plane tickets, old used ones, you know? And I use bus passes.
