((lol was it hard?)) "I'm sorry that you went through all that, I wasn't trying to make you irritated and mad.." Long smirked as noticed how Rin suddenly became somewhat mad. He walked up behind her and pulled out several blades of grass. He only then hopped up by the fountain's edge and stood there crouched over like a frog. He shifted his eyes to Rin as she rinsed her hands. Long then assumed cross-legged meditation, this time having his arms out and held out as if he were an Indian person meditating as his middle fingers and thumbs pressed against one another in each hand. His sitting presence almost mimicked that of Asuran.
"The race rejoices that mankind began with no rules...Remember what I said about man is always growing? And when he confines himself to one pattern of thought and one way of life that he stops growing?" Long asked lightly as he helped Rin clean herself, "You know now right? That you can't follow one way of life because of what one person tells you how it goes according to religion, rules, or their own authority and opinion?..." Long spoke in a dull, yet peaceful tone. As he then turned his head so that he was facing Rin.
"Rin this was a discovery process...Sometimes things happen that aren't in your control that you aren't aware of... The race also deonstrates that idea..." Long smirked, "I think this personality you possess currently is who you really are...I don't think you were always quiet and to yourself...In one conlusion, I think you just needed a good friend, but in another, I think you just hate that pendant and what it's done..." Long spoke rather after observing Rin for the while. He was in fact watching all of Rin's actions and notions, taking note and absorbing all that had been done like the black hole itself was in his eyes as he put the information together to come up with conclusions to problems, like a very talented detective or an intelligent investigator. In fact, it was rather amazing that he had planned everything to follow up and let Rin see the insights he gave her.
"Anyways, you shouldn't feel too bad, not after that flip, it didn't look as bad as you made it, at least you weren't the one that fell face flat into the pavement and leave your face indenture on it, this was also a way of having you act less princess like," Long smirked lightly changing the mood and subject as he then turned, "...Come on, I'll carry you back to your room...your feet look like they had enough on bare and socks, you did well this time, well...Even though you didn't know you were doing a good job..." Long said as he then hopped down from the fountain edge and crouched over to let Rin ride on his back again.

[Kind of... Though, I'm probably just dumb.]
Rin frowned to herself, staying silent and not looking at Long when he sat himself upon the edge of the fountain. She just continued washing all the mud off, trying to remove every trace. She was trying to get some from under her fingernail when he started helping. She paused, and very nearly pulled away, but stopped herself and instead just continued listening to what he was saying. That was kind of... Her mother had been trying to brainwash her since she was a little kid.
She finally looked back at him. Though, at the word 'friend' she shook her head and looked yet again towards the water. That was always a sort of touchy subject for her. She didn't think she needed friends, but that was mostly because she'd been abandoned. Nobody wanted to play with a little girl who could randomly try commiting suicide. It was very true that she hated the pendant though, or rather, the spirit inside it.
She pulled her hands from the water, waving them lightly in the air to help them dry, and then fully turned to face him. At his words, another one of her almost smiles tugged at her lips, but still didn't manage to actually appear. "I guess so," she agreed, still amazed at how he seemed pefectly fine, even after that. She also couldn't avoid the fact it was strangely relieving to just run around, and not have to worry about people watching her, waiting for her to make some mistake.
When he turned, she glanced down at her feet, clad in muddy socks, and gave a small sigh. "...k," she mumbled, hesitated, and then flopped ungracefully onto his back, arms loosely around his neck again. She was tired, as she still hadn't had a decent nap since using her power earlier. And the spirit had even taken over since then, thus draining her further. She started to yawn, but her arms were around him, so she simply muffled it against his back instead, almost without thinking.

((well at least you're good at rping, so you must be good in english mrgreen ))
"Ummf..." Long muttered as Rin plopped herself on his back like a rag doll. He smiled lightly as he then stood up and gracefully placed his hands over Rin's legs and cupped his hands together to hold her in place as he gently begen walking.
Long looked back as he looked back with only his eyes as he rocked backward and forward while taking her around the bend fo the fountain on on the way back to the Dorms. He figured Rin needed some rest in a way, since she herself had been through quite a number. He smirked a pushed Rin up slightly so that she could rest her head on his back gently. He some then turned his attention back on the road and saw through the shrubbery and saw that his 'friends' were still watching him.
He thought Rin had fallen asleep and quietly spoke his voice out. "Alright what is it?" Long spoke almost looking like he was talking to himself.
From the darkness of the trees emerged one figure, apparenly a rather requieted looking young man who was possibly older than Long. White hair, tanned skinned, and slightly more masculine than Long himself.
"So what are you doing here...and doing with that girl?" the older looking boy spoke. He slightly put his hands in his pocket almost similar to how Long placed his hands on his pocket, but he wasn't hunched over like a gargoyle.
"Genbu...What are you and Byakko doing here anyway?" Long spoke giving off his zombified stare. He only held in his anguish at the moment, He couldn't let his rage escalate here, not in front of Rin.
"It's simple really...we came to find you and now we have!" another voice called out as this time, it leapt over the trees. This figure was more masculine, more ferocious and more beast like than the man identified as Genbu. this man was dressed cladly and had a midnight blue color to his har and appeared as intimidating as a tiger, as he stood tall and straight like a proud beast. He landed on the ground with a rather quiet step and appeared like a silent hunter.
"What he said..." Genbu spoke as he pointed his finger over at Byakko. He motioned Byakko to watch Long if he tried something funny. He knew that Long wouldn't risk someone's life now, now that he had cearly seen that Long had shown kindness and protectiveness for this 'Rin'. It differed very much now that Long possessed a weakness.
"Who's your girlfriend Basahara?" Byakko smirked as he observed Rin, "She looks cute.... I wonder if she ever asked anything about you? It would be a shame to let her know you're a leader to a group of Headhunters..." Byakko glared lightly at Long then hopped back a few feet.
"I see that the fall I gave you didn't break you Byakko...Now what are you guys doing here?" Long demanded now putting on a very, grim face that seemed much more than just a dirty look.
"Now that's a face I haven't seen in a while Basahara...." Genbu smirked as he stared blankly at Long, "But it's not working on me this time..." Genbu smirked as he took a step back.
"What's not working?" Byakko said as he attempted to turn his neck but couldn't. He had thought he was still and calmed down, but somehow Long had paralyzed Byakko's muscles with just a mere stare, "What the hell is this?" He demanded as his eyes shifted to face Long.
"Careful Byakko...You wouldnt want to look right into his eyes and end up in acoma..." Genbu warned as he took a more careful look at Long, "Remember when I told you Long was crazy enough to make you die from just a glance? Long's natural ability to analyze and obsorb information can be put in a reverse input and send the psion waves of everything back, but with two times the force..this causes the nerves in your body to be jammed with a sonic wave cancelling out the brain waves..." Genbu explained as he looked at Long with a very blunt stare.
"WHAT? That's not possible for a human to achieve!" Byakko said as his eyes shifted from Genbu and back to Long, "...Grr...Basahara...You b*****d!" .

[Aw, thank you. xD You're very good too. I actually start english on... Tuesday. Ugh, I hope it's ok if Rin's actually awake? Otherwise I'd have no idea what to type.]
Rin clung lightly to his back, and did set her head gently down, eyes closing. Though, she wasn't actually asleep. She'd mentioned earlier, when trying to take a nap on the bench and failing, that she had trouble sleeping in odd places. Trying to do so on Long's back definitely counted as odd. So when long suddenly spoke, she frowned slightly, but didn't open her eyes. She was confused what he meant though, until she heard a voice reply.
She still didn't move however, simply listening in silence to the two speaking. She was confused, to say the least. What were they talking about? A headhunter? Not to mention, another male had arrived and called her cute, and made assumptions about herself and Long, something she found very irritating. One might think she'd suddenly grow nervous or uncertain about Long, but she didn't at all. She just stayed silent, listening further.
What's not working? she thought to herself, almost at the same time one of the voices said it aloud. And then the other explained it for her. She again just stayed still, processing the information. She didn't rule it as impossible, especially since it was apparently happening currently. She'd found spirits with many powers she'd never even dreamed up before, though none could do what Long apparently just had.
Rin hesitated a second, and then slowly picked her head up, just her eyes and up peering silently over Long's shoulder, taking the two men in with a single glance. She gathered that the more rough looking one was currently frozen, while the other had the sense to avoid it. But she still didn't say anything, and that was the only movement she made. With any luck, she wouldn't be noticed, though she kind of doubted that.

((lol long said that he thought Rin was asleep))
"It's unfortunate that it can only reach a 20 yard radius around me..." Long sighed as he looked at Genbu as he was only a few feet away from his reach.
"Byakko..you're free to move..." Long spoke as he was still seeing that Byakko was still thinking he was frozen. Although, Rin had slightly looked up, Long felt that she moved. He turned to see that Rin was awake, there really was no point in preventing this, "Glad to see your awake..." Long spoke seeing as how it seemed to be rude, but he seemed apologetic at the same time. Turning his head around in a semicircle to face Rin, Long was in for a long explanation to give her, "Rin, these are my elder brothers, Genbu and Byakko," Long said as he turned his head back. Long was referring to them as brothers since they were very close as friends, but this was rather odd after seeing what happened.
"Pleasure to meet you Miss..." Genbu smirked as he walked forward and turned his attention back to Long.
" Basahara...This isn't the way you treat the guy that's been watching your back since the syndicate days..." Byakko said as he began swinging his right arm in circle to get some circulation back in his joints, he was obviously pissed.
"Do you expect us to let you go about whatever you want after we spent 2 years after Ria high school searching for you..." his coarse and unstable voice exploded.
"Well yea...because you guys can't tell me what to do...and besides I left long ago, what else do you want me to do? Go back to Zaku like nothing happened and work like a dog again?" Long spoke as he began to turn and walk off, "My name always has been Yoshiro Long...And I like being called Yoshi, Long smiled proudly even though he was only called Yoshi by Rin.
"You're making a very big mistake Basahara..." Genbu said as he closed his eyes lightly. He then appeared in front of Long in a blink, "Please try and sit down to listen to us...". Genbu would have to exhibit force if necessary to stop Long in his tracks
"Basahara, just hear us out first..." Byakko spoke as he appeared behind Genbu as well. He was the only one ready to fight on ground with Long this very moment.

[Well... just making sure. ^^;]
Rin blinked a few times, realizing she'd been caught. Though, that was to be expected. How could she move without him finding out? She nodded slightly at his first words, and blinked again when he called the two his brothers. They didn't... appear to be similar. She frowned slightly, staring at Genbu when he spoke to her, but not replying, and actually sending Byakko a small glare. It may not have been smart, considering he didn't look all too happy at the moment, he was probably a foot taller than her, and looked overall intimidating, but she didn't care at the moment.
Rin's eyes widened very slightly as Ria was mentioned. So they went there to? Or at least, Long did, it seemed. Though, even if she had run into him there, which she didn't think she had, she wouldn't have remembered it anyway. Her memories of Ria were completely gone, except for arriving, then waking up in a hospital. From then, she'd been expelled for some reason she still didn't understand. During that time, was also when she'd gotten the scars on her hands and chest.
She pushed the thoughts away though, when Long mentioned his nickname, that she'd decided she'd call him. She had thought he found it annoying, but apparently that wasn't the case. Either way, she'd still call him Yoshi. Actually, she hadn't really yet because she'd always just spoken and no one was around, so she hadn't found a need to say his name. Eventually though...
Long began walking off, only to be stopped by the two again, and Rin finally spoke up. "Are you deaf?" she asked suddenly, staring at the two. Despite her words, her voice was calm as if she were just commenting about the weather, or giving the time of day. "He obviously doesn't want to talk." It might not have been the wisest to speak, but she'd used a calm tone, not irritated or rude at all, so she was making an attempt..

((Lol its kool))
"Heh..." Byakko laughed as he then took a small mist step and disappeared. His malicious face seemed to carry a rather devilish smile and the demon like glare to accompany it. His body fadded from the foot up like fogs dying out in the morning sun.
"She seems to have a point Basahara, you seem busy at the moment...she seems to have a lot of guts to talk like that to us..." Genbu said giving a blank stare at Long. He wasn't amused, in fact Rin's response seemed to have put Long in a more dire situation. Unbeknowest to her and Long, they would come back frequently. He took a step and disappeared as a small gale tornado into the trees.
Long had been holding his grim face for such a while now before it broke back into his zombified glare, "..Whew...Thanks..." Long spoke as he turned his head giving Rin a rather warm smile. He wasn't the type to rebel against those who watched over him. He only seemed surprised that Rin continued to help him out futher.
"You were willing to help me out....that's another improvement, you're being a good friend... another change and improvement," Long commented as he then began walking with Rin on his back.

Rin watched the two steadily, holding her expression firm and not letting it show that she was actually a little nervous. Though, she probably wasn't as nervous as she should've been. She should've just kept her mouth shut probably, but when she was annoyed, it was likely she'd talk without thinking much beforehand. But both of them were larger than her, stronger, older... and she had no means to defend herself unless she found a spirit. Maybe she should find one to keep around always?
She watched until the two had vanished, and then let out a silent breath before looking back at Long. "Yes..." she said quietly, suddenly a little confused. She had helped out, a little, and she hadn't in a very long time. It was strange, to her, that she'd step in when there was even the slightest risk of her own safety. Her mother would throw a fit if she knew. Maybe Rin was forming at least a slight attachment to Long? Even after they'd done that stupid race.
She made a small noise, a slightly amused, half laugh, and then set her head back down on his back, her eyes closing. But again, she wasn't asleep, and actually spoke this time. "So..." she began quietly. "Are you going to explain what's going on?"

"I guess you would want an explanation after meeting those guys..." Long. He glanced back at Rin without turning his neck, "They aren't my brothers by blood or anything as you could tell...They took me in when I needed someone the most, Byakko is the one who taught me how to fight, Genbu is the one who trained me mentally which explains how my mind and body work...I'd rather not mention why they did such a thing...But then my brothers and I got drafted and I grew up as a captain in an underground organization," Long said as he continued on. He felt well enough that Rin wouldn't blab about him to anyone in particular. so he felt alright explaining Rin this, in fact it was the right thing to do anyway.
"Rin..I don't have any idea about what I had done at this high school, Ria High to anger them...I was sent there to hunt down someone who was supposed to be dead, but my thirst for power had caused my downfall since that was a trap...I've been hiding for nearly 3 years now," Long spoke willfully as he kept going. He had kept a calm pace now, and he wasn't brash or bothered by his explanation to Rin in the slightest. In fact, Long was acting much more like who he thought he wasn't. Long gave a weary pause look into the sun-lit grass of the park area as he continued heading towards the dorm rooms..
"Anyway...What has happened has already happened, and I can't live with regret, because if I couldn't let the past go, I could never enjoy my future right now..." Long smirked lightly, "So...We'll just leave it for now...".

Rin nodded her head, opening her eyes again to stare back at him. Then she just silently listened, logging everything in her mind. That seemed accurate, that the more scary looking one was for fighting, and the other taught him mentally. She didn't really think Long would be lying either. So she decided she'd believe what he was saying, since there was no reason not to. She also decided she wouldn't ask about what he'd chosen not to mention. He was already telling her some stuff, which he wasn't obligated to do.
It'd taken them three years to find him? She couldn't decide if he'd done something bad, or if they simply wanted to know where he was after all that time. But if he was sent around to hunt people down, it probably wasn't a type of job he could just vanish from without objections. Maybe that's why they'd come?
She slowly nodded again when he finished, letting her eyes close again. "Alright," she said simply. She'd just leave it at that, for now. She couldn't say her opinion had changed at all either. She knew him now, in the present, so whatever he'd done in the past didn't matter, right? That was how she thought of it, at least. She wan't going to start fearing him or something just because he used to be a part of some sort of organization or... whatever it was.

"Shh..just get some sleep," Long said quietly as he walked lightly as he could so that Rin could sleep. He was only concerned with what Rin could have put her self in just a minute ago. He shifted his eyes to follow the the road lightly, once again his black hole stare sucking in the information about him. But at this point it wasn't needed, he instead turned his head around 180 degrees once more to watch Rin fall asleep.
Long only kept walking as he would try and see what would happen for Rin's pendant now. He then turned his head back to normal, after he was sure she was resting. Rin didn't seem ready to face that other spirit yet, it was still to early. He had to open up Rin's other emotions and aspects to allow her to pertain that she would no longer live with doubt. Long was now determined to help Rin out as much as he could as he could expect the worst to happen if he hadn't helped her out to achieve her goal.
This only made things feel more complicated for Long himself. He only seemed less lonely with Rin around, but if he was to disappear again, he'd become lonelier than ever.

"Don't tell me to 'shh'," Rin mumbled, but fell silent a second later. She allowed herself to relax completely, almost to the point where she stopped hanging on. But she kept her arms looped around his neck, just almost too light to feel. If she started to fall, she definitely would just.. fall.
She appeared to be truly asleep this time, but had really just fallen into a light doze, still unable to sleep in places as awkward as this. As long as she was aware that she was moving, she wouldn't be able to sleep. She'd suffered through day long journey's before, without getting a second's rest.
As peaceful as she appeared at the moment, her mind was still racing, thinking about the information she'd just been given. But above all else, she was suddenly feeling nervous. Maybe she should've kept her mouth shut? But then they might not have left... Either way, it was too late to regret it now. Much too late. She really might have to recruit a strong spirit to keep around for a while.

Long only gave a small snicker after hearing Rin's response, he only smiled lightly and walked on. Long could sense alittle doubt within Rin as he figured that the particular moment that happened between his brothers didn't seem to just happen to go away.
He knew very well that his brothers wouldn't just go away. That they would be back, and possibilty that he won't be able to hold off both Byakko and Genbu.
He then turned his head around halfway again and looked at Rin whom was looking as if she were sleeping, but Long deduced that no one would be able to sleep deeply while being carried. He also noticed that her grip loosened and she seemed to be slipping off his back. He pushed her up slightly so that she wouldn't fall off and hurt herself.

Rin felt herself being shifted slightly, and took that as a cue that she needed to hang on better. So her grip tightened just slightly again, more out of instinct than anything, since she was still half asleep. This was the state where one would see images of dreams without actually being asleep, so they were conscious enough to respond to them, or change things around if they didn't like it. Though, Rin had never been good at changing things.
Rin was seeing flashes from her childhood, of her sitting up in the castle, looking out through a window as other kids her age played in the streets below. Her mother entered and little Rin turned, then reached up to her for a hug. But the woman simply continued past, leaving Rin standing there until she'd run off to find her father. But he had been gone at the time, so Rin had ended up in one of the many rooms of the castle, hiding herself away in a wardrobe until a maid discovered her hours later.
Current Rin was frowning slightly as she hugged Long just a little more tightly in her half sleep. Around the same time, the spirit began speaking to her, the woman's words echoing through Rin's head, telling her she couldn't escape and askign why she even bothered trying. But the girl was trying her best to ignore it, and was managing, for now, at least a little bit.

Long had felt the sudden grip on him become more firm. He only smiled lightly that Rin responded to his motion. But he the came to a stop to watch clouds pass as he looked up with his head as his hair move hanging down from their place. In a way, a single beam had found it's way to shine on Long. He only smiled wisely as he figured it was a sign that he was forgiven. But for what?
Long could only hope that what he did would help Rin out, gradually he was helping her so that she wouldn't have doubts about anything, that she would be proud to be who she is, and not be stubborn to hide it. In fact, Long had been doing his 'plan in work' as he just came up with ways and things to do to help Rin understand and learn something new, that way, it wasn't so dull and annoying like being a hermit teaching a person in search of becoming stronger. In fact, Long had ended up becoming a clever warrior when he learned his having eyes that took in all the information about him became a useful tool. He didn't like the whole planning ahead of time, he somehow has perfect timing and incredible luck with his surroundings to provide Rin with insights.
