LOL... it's not that hard if you get used to it and practice more. I had trouble when I first started with a semi-auto.

I've fired a rifle a couple times, but I haven't had any chance to do so lately. Wasn't all that hard... loading a 30.06 is kinda tough when you're only 12, but I can handle it now, and my aim is pretty good.

My grandfather left behind some guns when he died about a year and a half ago. I'm trying to convince my grandmother to let me have the 9mm semi-auto or the 12 gauge shotgun. They're old, but in really awesome condition.

Don't think I'll get the magnum offa her though...

Wow! You guys all seem much better than me. I have a tendency to jump whenever shells hit me in the face... Makes everyone around me nervous to see a panicky teenage girl make a shot then jump around with a loaded gun yelling, "Ow!"

*chuckle* Well, yeah, I could see how that would make people nervous. I haven't done much with a semi-auto like that, but I was always afraid to pinch my skin in the loading mechanism. My dad's done that with the carriage on his semi-auto pistol, between his thumb and his hand... PAINFUL. I'm always nervous about that.

Yes, they do hurt when they pinch. Whenever I shot pistol, the shells hit the person next to me in the face. LOL! It was funny.
