Yakuti stiffened as she was awoken by the cub's playful new teeth and she resisted nipping the poor thing out of reflex.
She shifted to her feet glaring at the cub that had grown so fast in such a short time.. "What did i tell you about biting?" she scolded ploping to a sit and licking the now tender spot on her rear.

His eyes were open now, and he could crawl somewhat.
"but mooom.. " the cub whined rolling onto its back giving a small yawn "its boring in here." He vaugly knew she wasn't his real mother.. and he still remembered his mother from when his eyes were still closed. Her smell, the warmth of her huge body.. nothing like this little thing that was smaller than he was..
and on top of that the this new mother had been feeding him icky things. Nothing like the milk he had had for the first few seconds of life...

"we can go out after dusk. its too hot right now.." she trotted over to the cub curling up next to him closing her eyes again and drifting off into dreamland again.

He frowned at her lack of fun and wondered if his real mother would have played with him. Go to sleep she said, yea right. its daytime! they weren't supposed to sleep.. gah.
He stared at her thoughtfully a moment then decided she must be broken. After deciding that he turned his attention to the tunnle that lead them out of this boring hole. Hm.. should he? He'd get in alot of trouble if she found out.. he looked from her then to the exit. Why was he even debating this? to the outside!

His little body shaked as he atempted to hoist himself to his paws, which.. failed. He whimpered falling back to the ground landing with the faintest of thuds.. He glanced at the fox to make sure she was still asleep then belly crawled out into the open desert. he flinched at the harsh sun that had awaited him he mewed a bit waiting for his little new eyes to adjust to the light.

The sun beat down on Jasiri's back, making her want shade even more.Jasiri had been raoming all morning now, and she was looking for a place to rest. She saw a tree up aheard and rejoiced hapilly, running towards it with emense speed. She was going so fast, she triped and fell face first in the sand. "Bleh!" she said as she spit out the sand in her mouth. She got up and shook the sand off her, and looking up for the first time, came face to face with a white lion cub. "Ahh!" she jumped back in surprise. "Who are you?"

With the pridal den now in his eyes, the scent of his king filled Kitwana's nostrils, and his muscles immediately responded by freezing to a halt. Through his mind urged them forward, they held within them the memory of pain past inflicted, and wished not for a repeat performance.
His mind whirring to think of ways to move his static body, at length the dusty adolescent simply wrenched one leg from it's position, followed by the other, again and again, the muscles still struggling against his mind's supremacy.

At length, the weary slave reached the den of the Blood, eyes downcast and expression his usual ground-in humble frown. Greeting Makadari with a silent nod, Kitwana slowly made his way to bow before the king.

Teule swallowed and blushed slighttly, accentuating his white luminescent fur. He coiled his tail around her side and nodded. He was trying to retain the suave of the male cheetahs he had seen when they were courting the females.

"Yea, I live here. How about you, I never seen you around here before?"

The cub trotted around outside, since he was out of the den he was starting to get the hang of walking.. Yakuti would never take him outside of the den. she was worried for his saftey. Psh. he gave a proud stance "I'm a lion! nothgin can hurt me." he gave a big grin then stopped slouching a bit looking around "I hope.." he gulped. His large ears pinned back against his head as he sat against the dunes, the hole to the den still in sight.

His ears pricked back up as soon as he heard the caw of a rather large(well large in his opinion) Vulture that had begun circling above him. His little eyes widened and he took off in a run away from the bird in a panic, but this direction was also away from the saftey of the den..

The bird obviously a scavanger and looking for an easy meal figured this small unwatched cub would be easy pickings, and chasing it was just as easy. Just gliding along with a few flaps of her wings here and there.

"It's not your place to know, girl. But you should be honored." She glares hard at the lioness, eyes flashing. "But if it helps you to know, it won't be killed or anything sadistic or old-fashioned like that." There's a distinctly amused fleck in the pitch-black eyes. Whether that's a good thing for Kimondo or not, it's difficult to tell. "Do we have a deal, cat?"

The sparrowhawk kept a straight face - although it's easier to show less expression on a bird - but she's dancing triumphantly inside. Her eyes are the only thing about her that betrays her emotion; they sparkle cruelly, beak slightly curving up into an avian's parody of a smile. "Give your word, then, and I give my goddess-given word that I'll hold to my end of the bargain." She lifts one feathered wing and slashes along her other shoulder, creating a scar - yet without the blood - which fades slowly away, pulsing with life until it does.
