::Resident Evil: Extinction Info::
The sequel; Resident Evil: Extinction is the name of the new Resident Evil movie which is set to release sometime in November of 2006. Yahoo sat down with the producer of the movie, Samuel Hadida to talk about locations and time of arrivial. Samuel Hadida has currently worked on the new Silent Hill movie, and also worked as executive producer and producer of both Resident Evil films. Shooting locations are taking place in Mexico and shooting should begin May 15, 2006. Stay tuned for more information.

::Update Resident Evil: Extinction::
According to Blood-Disgusting and Variety, Oded Fehr has officially returned in Resident Evil's new upcoming movie. Below is the official cast so far:
Oded Fehr-Carlos
Milla Jovovich-Alice
Sienna Guillory-Jill Valentine
Mike Epps-L.J.
Iain Glen-Dr. Isaacs
As of right now the synopsis of the movie is as follow:
Quote: Milla Jovovich is back as Alice, and she's running with a new pack of humans, leading a caravan that's cutting through the Nevada desert on a long trek to Alaska. Hunted by the minions of the perpetually scheming Dr. Isaacs, Alice has zombies hungry for her flesh (once again) and lab rats hungry for her blood -- while Alice is hungry for only one thing: revenge.

::Anderson in the Talks::
Paul Anderson, who worked on Mortal Kombat and both Resident Evil movies, will be speaking at the Hollywood and Game Summit to talk about how to make a game-to-movie conversation.

::No Show for Resident Evil 5 at E3 ::
Capcom has no plans of showing Resident Evil 5 at this years E3. The better news is they plan on showing new footage at the 2006 Tokyo Game Show sometime in September.
Lets cross our fingers and see if Capcom surprises us at E3 and sneak a peek like Sony did to us on the PS3. Remember, E3 starts this week, so tune in to the action and I'll keep you updated on any new information.

According to Bloody-Disgusting, Claire Redfield has be casted in the new Resident Evil movie and will be played as Ali (Final Destination) Larter . Few other characters have been mentioned. Here is the cast as of right now:

As you may of heard earlier, Capcom is planning on releasing a new title onto the new Nintendo Wii. Here are some first scans introduced to the Wii. From the looks of it, it may be a new Gunsurvivor 5 with the new gun remote Nintendo has introduced.

MTV sat down with the star of the Resident Evil movie, Milla Jovovich to talk about the third installment. Here she mentions how bad Apocalyspe did compared to the first one and she says this one will probably be the best one. It seems that much of the story will focus on Jill and L.J. more. ::New Resident Evil 5 Footage Coming::
Finally something worth hearing and checking out. Capcom plans on releasing a playable version, if not, new footage of Resident Evil 5 at the 2006 Tokyo Game Show through September 22-24.
According to Gamefront, the reason why Capcom didn't release info on Resident Evil 5 was because they wanted to focus on their PS3 launch.

From looking at Capcom's sales projections, we may see Resident Evil 5 on shelves around February or March of 2007.

::Resident Evil 4 Wins The Best Video Game Spacey Award::
On Saturday, May 27th, Resident Evil 4 won the Favourite Video Game award at the Canadian "Spaceys" awards.
It won by 25% against the following games:
Battlefield 2: 18%
Call of Duty 2: 22%
God of War: 18%
King Kong: 17%
The competition was tough, but Resident Evil 4 ended up taking the prize this year.
