Kinera glared at her brother, "Rayl! You're the older brother! You can't get hurt!" She sighed and helped her brother sit up agains the side of the cotage. She thought Rayl had really lost it, then again he was a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Kinera looked back at where Leon was still on the ground probably coughing up even more blood. "Now would be a great time to know healing magic... I could always give it a try," Kinera thought as she glaced at Kenji and Shadow before looking back at her injured brother.
"You are an idiot now hold still and don't argue," Kinera said in the same stern tone that their mother always got whenever Rayl and Kinera were in trouble. She placed her right hand over Rayl's chest and concentrated with only the thought of healing any wounds on her mind. Kinera's hand began to glow softly at first, "Must try harder..." she made more of an effort this time; the light from her hand began to glow brighter. "Healing Light," Kinera said and the light from her hand left and merged with Rayls body. He imidietely stopped coughing up blood, the healing spell worked it seemed as Kinera slumped back. She was feeling odd but other then that fine, "Did it.. work?"

Rayl sat up and gave one final bloodless cough. Looking around astonished, "Kinera... you... can heal?!"

"Over here!" Shadow taunted the beast rune as she landed on the ground, "You're slower than I thought. Is that the best you can do?"
The wolf snarled angrily, "Out of my way!" Its golden eyes stared into the girl's eyes, pulsing with energy.
Shadow's eyes widen with shock, suddenly feeling like her body was made out of stone. "What..what did you do to me?!"
The rune grinned, "I immobilized you...now to finish the job." The beast rune started to charge an energy blast in it's mouth but was interrupted by Kenji's attack to the front leg and side. It gave a small suprised whimper of pain before releasing the half-charged blast at the boy.
Kenji ducked just in time, only to get struck by a giant paw to the face.
"You think you can sneak up to me like that and get away with it? Think again, pup."
"Hmpf...whatever. At least I hurt you in attempt." said Kenji as he got up shakily. He was still recovering from the attacks earlier but his face showed no reaction to it.

Lonewolf, with Violet in his hand appeared outside of the forest. He then slumped down to his knees and fell face first onto the grass. He was out cold.

"Master! Master, please wake up! Please!" She tried her best to turn Lonewolf over, pushing against his shoulder with all her might, but to no avail.
"Master! Please! Get up!"
She tried pinching him, nothing. Jumping on him, still nothing.
"Don't worry, Master! I will get help!"
The little persocom ran through the grass as fast as she could towards the ruins.
"Please! Someone! Please!!!"

Hearing a faint voice, Leon groaned as he turn over, carefully trying not to aggravate the bleeding anymore. The figure became clearer as it came closer and then realizing it wasn't a person, it was a small persocom he knew a long time ago.
"Violet...!" Leon tried to shout but he couldn't say it loud enough. His throat was dry as a desert.
Focusing on his left hand, Leon continously healing himself as he made his made to Violet. The dragoon knew that Violet didn't age because she was a computer, a machine; but that did not mean he wouldn't help her. She was a comrade, a dragoon as well. A small hope appeared in Leon's mind. If Violet was still running...then maybe, just maybe Lonewolf was alive as well.
"Violet!"

Kenji was quickly adapting to the movement of the rune beast, dodging more and more of its attacks but he was still injuried and was getting worn down by this long battle.
After blocking another swipe at his head, he jumped back to distance himself. "I don't know if I can hold on anymore longer...If only I knew what it's weakness is!"
The rune wolf beared its fangs and let out a powerful energy surge through the air, just like he did with Leon.
Kenji was sent to the ground without any strength to fight back. Breathing heavily, his mind was running with activity as the beast rune came in for the kill, slowly taking its time.
"Am I going to die....? I don't want to die now...I haven't been done alot of things yet and here I am lying like a weakling...."
Memories flooded his eyesight; some good and some he would like to forget. During the trip on memory land, rising anger spreaded through Kenji's body. He was angry that couldn't do anything to avoid death.
"If I'm going to die...I'll leave like a man who fought for his life." he whispered as he got up, suddenly feeling numb from the pain. The sword burst with an omnious light blue fire. Staring right into the eyes of the Beast rune, Kenji readied himself. This energy..it just appeared out of nowhere..it felt warm and comforting but most of all, it felt strong.

Violet perked her ears as she heard her name, "Master?" She turned around, but Lonewolf wasn't in sight. She continued to cut through the grass toward the sound of her name.
The figure became clearer, and Violet immediately matched the face structure to one in her memory.
"Sir Lion!" She smiled happily and ran faster towards him!
"Oh, Sir Lion! I am so pleased to see you! I need yo-" She stopped suddenly, noticing the obvious pain he was in.
"Oh, not you too..."

Lonewolf twitched slightly...he could barely hear Violet call out for help. He felt his blood flow its way out of his body from several orfices. He was dying...yet he did not care. So be it... he thought coldly. There is nothing left for me in this world...
"You're wrong."
Let me die in peace, Stephanie. So that I may at least be with you and be away from this hellhole we call earth.
"Lone....please....please don't give up. This is not like you at all. Why are you doing this to yourself..?"
Please Stephanie, I really don't need to hear your lecture right now. I've been hearing it for the past 600 years.
"Then you shall keep hearing it until you come to your senses! You are wrong about there not being anything left for you here. What about Violet? Hajimate? Even Lionheart is still alive."
Hmph. I don't need any of them....
"I know you don't really mean that. I can feel your emotions too you know. I know you care deeply for your friends. I can feel the love that is lost within you, Lone. Please...stop this charade. I know you are still you inside. The great Legendary Lonewolf who would give his life for his friends. The sweet, sincere, generous, courageous, yet timid and hard headed man that I fell in love with. Please Lone...do not give up on your life now...you've been in worse shape then you are in now and survived. Please...don't give up..."
.....
"...Well?!"
Just leave me alone.
".....Fine."

"What's wrong Violet? Did something happen?" Lion said as he walked towards the persocom, still trying to ebb the flow of blood from killing him.

"Hmpf. So your powers have come to life. Let's see if it truly makes a difference." The beast rune growled then charged at an unimaginable speed.
The sword flared with Kenji's energy suddenly as the teenager jumped to the side. He could barely see the wolf coming, but that was enough for him. "TAKE THIS!" Kenji brought the sword at a wide overhead arc and sliced through the beast rune but not before emiting a huge energy blast from the blade.
The blast just burned through the rune and a couple of yards into the forest as well. The wolf form of the rune dissolved and painfully etched itself onto Kenji's right hand.
Feeling exhausted all of the sudden, Kenji fell to his knees then to the ground unconsious.

Rayl with Kinera by his side ran over to Kenji passed out on the ground, "Kenji wake up man! This isn't cool!" Rayl looked back to Kinera, "Can you do anything sis?"

Kinera held out her hand over Kenji, speaking the same words she had done with her brother. "Healing Light," Kinera barely felt anything and frowned. She looked up at Rayl shaking her head, "It isn't bleeding but probably exhastion and I can't-" Kinera stopped midsentence staring at the place far behind her brother where Leon had been. "Leon was bleeding badly too!" Kinera got up back on to her feet and raced over to the tree.
"Leon?! Where are you?" Kinera took a few steps forward before finding a blood trail. She followed it positive it was Leon's blood and soon she found the bleeding Leon and a mini... thing. "Um... hi?" Kinera looked at the small human-like creature before turning her attention to Leon. "Here hold still and let me help," Kinera held out her hand out infront of Leon ready to cast the spell.

Leon shook his head, "The one thing about internal bleeding is that you can't heal it with magic sadly enough. You can stop it but it won't heal so it would be pointless for you to do that..." He looked puzzled by Kinera's expression until he looked down at Violet, "Oh and this is Violet, an old friend of mine."

She tugged violently for him to follow her.
"We must hurry!!!"

"Right." Lion began to run in the direction that Violet had came from then came back and picked her up gently. "Perhaps its best that you take a ride since of your small size. That and I'm not sure where he is." He ran off again urgently, having Violet point the way to his friend.

On the horizon was a dark silhouette.
"Straight ahead! Master is there!" She jumped from Lion's hands and rushed through the grass. She tried to shake Lone awake.
"Master! Wake up! I brought help! Please wake up!"
