under.the.mask here we are dear old friend you and i drunk again laughs have been and and tears have been shed maybe the whiskey's gone to my head
but if i were gay i would give you my heart and if i were gay you'd be my work of art and if i were gay we would swim in romance but i'm not gay so get your hand out of my pants
its not that i dont care -i do i just dont see myself in you another time, another scene i'd be right behind you if you know what i mean
cause if i were gay i would give you my soul and if i were gay i would give you my whole being and if i were gay we would tear down the walls but i'm not gay so wont you stop cupping my hand
we've never hugged we've never kissed i've never been intimate with your fist you have opened brand new doors get over here and drop your drawers
-falls over giggling- STEPHEN LYNCH IS FREAKING AWESOME.

You said how you wished you didn't have to fight for your rights. I know what you mean it sucks, but that is how this world works. If people didn't challenge what is considered "normal" we would still be in the middle ages. Everyone has the responsibility to fit for what they believe in. If not you are giving the other side support. And if we all fight now, then far down the road it will be over. The people always win. Govn't doesn't win to often. With each generation the fight slides just a little more in our favor.

I would never choose to be transgendered, if that counts as gay. Yep. I'd give anything to be normal, and being a romantic type person makes it especially hard. I sometimes wish I had never been born. But being here talking for the first time in my life seems a little bit better. But I haven't come out. I have no idea what I'd say. Nothing against gay people, though (I guess including me redface ) I admire... us.

Err...depends on who I meet. If I meet a really attractive really interesting guy, I'd choose to be gay also vice versa I'd choose to be straight if I met an attractive interesting girl. Being bisexual is so nice, unlimited doors of oppurtunity.

i don't think anyone would chose to be discriminated, harrassed, considered to be a second class citizen just for the sake of it. you can't chose who you like. period.

I would stay the way I am, bisexual. Because I think that love has nothing to do with age, gender, skin color, or anything like that. It's all got to do with personality.
I bet is the biggest homophobe you could find loosened himself up and paid attention to the people around him, he'd find it easy to fall in love with the same sex.
Maybe that's just me.

I dunno, with the whole relationship with the person aspect, its eaiser. I've seen relationships with boys who have broken Girl's hearts because they dont understand the girl's mind, where on the other hand gays would understand their boyfriend/girlfriend's mind maybe because their the same sex. But of course once you really get to know the person then you should prolly know them well, so its a debateable issue. As to the parent "oh my daughter is going to marry a wonderful boy who is going to take care of her" thing, i can now see why it would be hard to break their hearts like that. Also, you think that you know your parents and when you come out and they reject you for who you are, thats just horrible. And all the other complications of being gay, the marraige rights, the hate crimes, and the constant berating of peers at school or work. Straight is the obvious "safe" answer. But being gay allows you to be with anyone you love and thats the most important thing, right?

I love loving woman, its so natural that i cant really see myself being happy anyother way. For that reason i know i can't really be completely objective about this post. But still, would i like to be straight? Yes. As an aspiring writer, I can appreciate the drama that comes with coming out, but if i had my choice it would be a more contollable drama. Does that even make sense? *sigh* i dunno.

Maybe that's just me. I have to disagree. I would say its probably alot of things. Attractivness, personality, intelligence, social opinions, ect....

Would I choose to be gay?
Yes. I am happier as a lesbian because I could understand a girl much better than a guy can. heart
Even if I wanted to change that. I could not. For, I would be deny myself of true happiness. And we all need to be happy. Right?

I'm proud of who I am, and even though most of the people around me don't except me. I wouldn't myself for the world.
