Loki peered out at the yard. There was sky out there, something he hadn't seen in a while. He took a few steps outward and the door slammed behind him. This was going to be a great...
Crud.
Loki shrunk against the door. There was an ARBOK out there, sunning itself. And it was big, reeeeaally big. It could probably eat him with one gulp. Why did the human man take him to a place to get eaten?!

Malice raised her head in idle curiosity as the rusty metal hinges of the door creaked open. She could see something very... fluffy prodded out before the door slammed. It was fluffy; that was about as much as the arbok cared to know about the walking cotton ball.
Had she been hungry, she probably would have tackled a guard. Soft pink human flesh would make a tastier snack than a mobile afro. Maybe this thing would decide it was a better idea to leave the big snake alone. Mal didn't feel like granting any death wishes; she just wanted to bask in the sun where no one would hurt her again.

The sheep continued to peer at the snake with both awe and fear. If he were stronger he wouldn't need to be afraid, but since his arrival he hadn't seen his human friend at all. As the head of the creature eyed him he tried to be brave and not run away, but it was an Arbok for goodness sake! He slowly inched his way to a far off picnic table to hide under, making sure to keep his eyes on her, just in case.

"Heh," Malice muttered before laying her head back down. The only good thing about being a large serpent was that others tended to leave her be.
She lazily watched the mareep crawl under a table. He looked like cotton candy; he had two cone-ears with an abundance of fluff. Probably wouldn't taste like cotton candy, not that she was in any mood to see.
She sat for a few minutes more before the nagging urge to speak overcame her; ever since that shot, she'd felt different. It wasn't a particularly welcome difference.
"Hey you, fluffy thing. What's going on here?" She called out, wanting answers.

Loki twitched inwardly, resisting to charge up his electricity to zap the snake. He HATED to be called fluffy, and normally someone would pay with a hard shock. Heck, he had shocked several of the odd people with white coats for calling him fluffy. They soon learned. Loki just wasn't in the mood to see what the insides of an arbok looked like right at this moment in time.
"I...I'm not quite sure..." he studdered. Perhaps this was a nice...giant...snake? "I've been in my cage most of the time. No one talks to me much..."

"So you've been here awhile?" The snake wondered why there were random things in cages. "Did they inject you too?" She wondered if she were going to get all fluffy like this thing.
Maybe this was one of those places where humans tested makeup and such on pokemon. Malice's former owner had once been forced to sit through a special that showed pokemon testing; if she remembered correctly, a very embarrassed looking squirtle was wearing rouge. But this was neither here nor there.

Loki nodded furverently and turned to show a not so fluffy patch near his rear.
"Yeah...they cut off some flu...wool off me and put a pointy thing with goo in it right there. You mean they did that to you too?"
