Lucifer couldn't help but think she was a silly one. He also realized this would take much longer then he would have hoped. Still, he managed to keep a patient smiling expression as he told her, "It is no intrusion, I welcome you as a guest. However, if you'd like, we can stay out here. The offer of tea is still good if you wish for it." He still looked forward when it was his wants that mattered again. Until then, her silliness was at least amusing.

>>Anon nodded, beaming as she sat down onto the frost covered ground. She instantly blushed<< But um...no thanks with the tea. I...uh...don't...really like it too much

Lucifer growing just a bit tired of her absurd behavior again tries again to be a gentleman. He liked it better when he could have just drug her into his tent with out a fuss, or have her begging to get in.
All things in their due time, he thought to him self as he retrieved a fluffy fur pillow and placed beside her should she want something more comfortable to sit on. "There is also hot cocoa." That was the last he was going to push it, instead, he got himself tea and sat serenely.
Acting like he cared, he asked, "Are you enjoying your self at the shop?"

I'm okay, really. >>Anon nodded while smiling before blinking at the pillow. He had...ALOT of fur. She looked at lucifer again<< Mhmm. I don't really go in there often though, I prefer the outdoors. Does it ever get lonely being out here by yourself?

She gave him a great card and his smile faded when he asked if he got lonely. Sighing heavily, he lowered his black eyes to gaze into his tea as he tells her, "I do get very lonely. I love being in the nature, though I regret I have to hunt so much. Killing the innocent animals just so I can survive out here, its regreatful." Shaking his head, he pulls a 'try to act strong' card and looked back up to her with a small smile, "Have you made good friends there? I tell you, this place in the spring is nearly unbeatable. Its a shame I can can't go to the meadows I used to visit all the time." He smiled in memory; only the memory was of burning said meadows, not that she needed to know that.

>>Her heart simply melted at his words, nodding<< But one must do what one must to survive. I have only made one friend, Mia. >>Anon smiled encouragingly<< and I'm sure that this place can be just as pretty as the meadows if you catch it at just the right time.

He nodded, still playing a light melancholy card, he did lighten up about the friend thing, he may not become her only friend, but he had a great foot hold anyway. Nodding about the right time he tells her, "If you would be so kind to consider me a friend, then even the loneliness of this place is durable. Though I wouldn't tell anyone, it wouldn't be fair for them to mark you as they have me just for talking to me."
Looking at the woods he played another of his more useful cards, "There are very few brighter sights then the spring night sky and the sunrise. It always gives me new hope to see the sun rise above a dusty pink and blue horizon." Normally the sensitive bs worked wonders.

>>She lightly frowned. Concider him a friend? Even the loneliness of this place is durable...it sounded almost like...either he really really liked her, or was making fun of her. Anon was extreamly naive, and she was a blind opptomistic at times, but she was a teenager. And nothing was crueler or more coniving then a bunch of teenage prep girls. But...she would give him the benifit of the doubt...this time. She nodded<< I'll be your friend Lucifer... >>she then fell silent as he looked out into the woods, a rare dazzling smile lighting upon her lips<< That was very...poetic. >>oh yes...that had struck a cord in her, the female wanting to be a writer someday<<

He looked grateful as he told her, "Thank you, Anon. I am honored to have you as a friend." He smiled even more when she called what he said poetic. His talent always seemed to be more with words then anything else, but that was not what he was going to tell her. "Such a lovely smile you have, Anon. That is a sunrise if I have ever truly seen one."
He had enough sappiness for one breath. He had to look at the woods, and imagine them burning in order to calm and steel himself to go on. Once he had, he looked at her and said, "Books are one of my own companions, poetry touched my very soul a long time ago. I find it such a intricate, and yet easy to understand medium for expressing oneself." It had been a bit of therapy, he had a lot of poems about destroying the tower and getting his powers back. Many of his poems were battles and gore, or his unspeakable acts of the past. However, everything he ever wrote, he burned afterwards, destroying it for ever.

>>The instant he mentioned her smile it vanished, a deep blush seeping across her pale skin<< Um...yes. Books, companions...it's actually amazing. Words. Just a few words can make a person feel like they're dancing in the sunshine...or throw them in the darkest bowels of the underworld. >>Even as her tone dipped low for the underworld comment it somehow seemed...cheerful. Anon was an odd one<<

A blush, hah, he was getting where he wanted to go. He made a bet with himself about how long it would take to turn her into a bed warmer. If he had his power, he'd have her eating out of the palm of his hand and begging in seconds. Unfortunately, the power wasn't working and he didn't feel the effort to even try and reach for the power with her.
"Ah, the words of a real reader. It is nice to converse with someone who has the intellect and imagination to go with the words." He sounded appreciative of what she said.

>>she shifted slightly, looking down at the ground<< I'm really not all that intellegent. Solstice is even wiser then me, and she doesn't believe in love.

He was going to give himself diabetes with all this word sugar! Curling his tail around himself in an almost vulnerable look, he says, "At one time, I would have called this Solstice a fool. I used to truly believe in love, I even believe I was in love at one point. Now, I just think it is unattainable." Oh, he believed in love, it was a chain that tied others to his will.
"Do not compare your self with others, Anon, being the best you, you can be without using others as bench marks is the wise action." It felt a lot better to give an order. Well, it wasn't really, more a gentle suggestion, but it was getting him closer one step at a time.

mmm... >>she slowly laid down on the cold ground, setting her head on the fur pillow. The pretty girl looked up at him through a few strands of golden brown hair, quietly thinking<< I believe in love...though it's hard to tell if it's a good thing or bad. 'Love is the slowest form of suicide'... >>She blinked at his soft command, a small shiver going up her spine<< Heh, you're right. But easier said then done

He raised an eyebrow at her when she spoke about love being suicide. He had a negative mark. "That is an interesting view, Anon. Has someone hurt you?" Again, he acted concerned for her.
To her other statement he told her, "Just try and keep in mind who you’re trying to please. If you want to have a life you’re happy with, then your opinion of yourself is the only one that matters." Building her self-esteem might be troublesome later on when he worked on enslaving her to his will, but then he knew ways to make her will his own.
