Naruto yawns and snuggles closer to Rikku, feeling his own eyes droop sleepily. It had been a long day, the sugar from their s'mores finally wearing off and leaving him drained. But right before he falls off to dream land, he mumbles out, "Love....u....'iku..." and he drifts off to dreamland.
The night passes peacefully for the both of them, nothing except the noise of crickets seems to disturb the stillness and peace. But the night soon draws to a close as the sun slowly starts to slip over the horizon.
Naruto wiggles his nose and yawns, blinking his eyes open to see a head of blond hair in his vision. For a moment, he forgets where he is and who is with and is about to jump out and panic. But he quickly calms down as his memory returns and he smiles softly. He leans over and kisses Rikku's forehead gently.

Lips on her forehead slowly register to the sleeping Al Bhed. "Mmm..." Rikku sleepily smiles, eyes still shut. She cuddles into her 'pillow' & rolls a leg casually over 'it' before even becoming cognizant enough to realize or remember that her 'pillow' is both warm & alive.
"mmm... good dream... 5 more minutes?" Rikku murmured sleepily. "D'wan leave 'Ruto yet... "

Naruto chuckles, but doesn't really understand what she means, but he shakes her shoulder gently, "Come on Rikku, suns about to come up, and we can sleep anytime we want today!" he whispers in her ear gently.

Green eyes flutter open in surprise. That voice came from the wrong place... & it sounded so real! She blinked a few times then her face exploded into a brilliant smile.
"oh! That's right!" Rikku body hugged the ninja gleefully, wrapping arms & legs & tail tightly around him. "Not a dream!"

Naruto laughs lightly as he wraps his arms around her to hug her good morning, "Don't know why you're dreaming of me, but lets watch the sun rise. We can take a nap later on today since we don't have to be anyplace or do anything!" he says, sitting up in the sleeping bag and looking to the east.

Now fully awake the thief blushed. No way she was saying now how she normally dreamed of him every night. But it was okay to dream about your best friend, wasn't it? She sat up with Naruto, lightly leaning into him.
She had slept well, so it was with vibrant green eyes that Rikku looked to where the sun would peek out. There was still a slight misty fog along the ground, perhaps only an inch or two deep. Enough to give the feel that this could be a dream, or at least lend a dreamlike quality. She sighed happily.

Naruto smiled happily as he wraps his arms around Rikku again, watching as the sun starts to rise in the east, his tail wrapping around her. He wished he could just freeze time so they could stay like this always. He nuzzles her ear as he purrs, feeling happy and content.

Rikku does not notice when her purr joins Naruto's. Her ear twitches happily at the nuzzle & she inches closer to him. Resting one hand lightly on his far leg Rikku nonchalantly strokes the ninjas bare arms around her with the other. She curls her tail under then around his & sighs happily. The colors were so lovely. The company could not be better. All in all... "Perfect..."
She twists lightly in his embrace until she is angled with her head near Naruto's far shoulder & looked up with a grin. Now she could look between Naruto & the sunrise. She giggled.

Naruto felt like he was wrapped up in a warm, safe blanket, watching as the sky brightens from the rising sun. He wondered if there was a way to take a picture of this moment, cause he wanted it always. He didn't understand when he was with Rikku he didn't feel like he needed to pretend to keep her attention, to act stupid and get loud just so she would see him there.
He turns his head and smiles at Rikku lovingly, leaning down and kissing her gently.

Her eyes close happily into the kiss. She had thought it could not get any better but she was wrong. Trailing her hand up Naruto's arm she flipped her arm to curl behind the ninja's neck & slipped her fingers into his short blonde hair, drawing herself up & deeper into the kiss. "mmm..."

Naruto murrs into the kiss lovingly. He gets ready to deepen it, but the grumbling sound of his stomach interrupts him and he pulls back, putting a hand to his stomach and laughing nervously, "Guess we better get something to eat for breakfast." he says sheepishly.

She could not pout as her tummy made an answering rumble & she giggled. "Yeah..."
Suddenly she pressed her hand against his leg & pushed herself up, bouncing happily. "Come on! I've got just the thing!"
Dragging the shinobi to the tent after her she fished around for a pot & handed it to him before rummaging around in a small cooler buried under an extra blanket. Her voice came muffled as she spoke through the blanket having not bothered to move it all the way aside. "All we need to do is boil water... & booyah! Instant Breakfast!"
She lifted out two plastic zip-lock baggies triumphantly. They looked to have a gooey, yellow liquid inside along with bits of cooked meat & shredded cheese. She grinned at the ninja.
"I didn't know what you liked in your omelets so I took the liberty." Her smile turned a bit sheepish. "Hope you like meat & cheese..."

Naruto yelps a bit when he is suddenly pulled and dragged into the tent and he regains his bearings when she starts searching. Pushing his hair from his eyes, he can't help but pout a little, he wanted ramen, it had been so long since he had any. But he perks at the mentioning of omelets and he smiles, "That sounds great!!" he says happily.

Her face brightens & Rikku bounces happily from the tent to the firepit. "Fill the pot with lake water while I work on the fire please? Unless you wanna do the fire, then I can get the water!"

Naruto takes the pot and nods, "I'll get the water!" he says and rushs over to the lake, splashing in until he is up to his ankles and he bends down to fill the pot with water, tail wagging about happily.
