She smiled and chuckled lightly under her breath at his wink and pranceing. Looking around for a moment, she then looked back to him. "Mmm, I was really just grazeing as I had come upon this valley while I was wandering. It seems like such a nice place and one of the few places that still has grass that's partially green for myself to eat. Seeing as winter is comeing soon, I'd like to get m fill of grass before I have to switch over to oats and hay." Firefly giggled softly and eyed his casually. "Really? Is it lovely to see me again? Why so?"

"Because I miss your company when you are away... " He said charmingly. "You are the most intriguing company My Lady...."
He glanced at the sky, which was a soft blue, but tinted with grey at the borders. Winter was comming, what she said was true, and soon there would be no emerald fields for him to race across.
"I will miss the fine weather..."

Firefly smiled lightly and took a few steps towards him. "And just why do you miss my company?" She replied, nipping at his mane lightly. A small breeze blew across her dark coat, it was cold. Obviously comeing from the north because of it's temperature. It made her shiver lightly untill it had past. "Yes, but with the winter comes spring which means more fine weather and more beautiful things to see. Things, like flowers, die to make way for even more beautiful flowers."

"Have a care my lady." He teased, dancing away. "Even love-sick fools have some pride left."
He shook himself, freeing the flowers that had tangled in his tail. He nuzzled her neck when she shivered, and nodded.
"Yes, I suppose that is true.. And I imagine it will be interesting to see the snow... "

Her dark lips persed slightly as she eyed him carefully. "So...are you a love-sick fool then?" Flicking her tail a few times, she smiled as he nuzzled her neck, her ears perking lightly before relaxing back to a more normal position. "Yes. It feels like it's been a long time since I've seen snow. But it will be nice to see it again, it really is beautiful."

"Perhaps, perhaps not..." Sibalto gave her a sly smile. "What would you say if I told you I was?"
He glanced around the grove, trying to imagine what it would look like under a blanket of snow. Eyeing Firefly, he felt she would look even more stunning against the pure white, but kept his thoughts to himself with a faint smile.

"I'd probably ask you who it was and think that she's probably really pretty to have caught your eye." She returned an equally sly smile, her tail flicking back and forth methodically. Firefly always had some reason to what she did, though some might not understand those reasons. But as long as they made sense to her, it didn't really matter.

Sibalto stumbled slightly, realizing she didn't seem to know how fond he was of her. He blinked and shook his head, knowing he looked like an idiot. He paced around for a few moments to recover.
"What would you say, if I told you I knew someone who was, fond of you?" He asked, knowing it was practically screaming 'IT'S ME!'... He winced and flattened his ears for a moment, dreading her laughter or her mockery or both.

Firefly raised a slender eyebrow as he asked his question. Though she could tell full on what was going on. With a flick of her tail, she smiled wryly. "Mmmmm, I don't know what I'd say. I'd be shocked that's for sure....maybe a little excited. Hopeful that he's some handsome Soquili....." She gave her tail another flick as she watched his mannerisms dureing the discussion of the topic.

Sibalto gave a chuckle and reared, pawing playfull at the air.
"Surely its not that much of a surprise?" He grinned as he returned to the earth, trotting about. "And only 'maybe a little excited?' What would it take to make the lady Joyous?"
He doubted she would ever return his affections, but the least he could do is remain her truest friend, and hope for her to find a stallion that would suit her fancy, one of these days.. If he existed...

She smiled slyly as he reared and pawed at the air. "I don't know. I guess I'm just not one of those who would believe someone would be fond of herself..." Of course, that part wasn't all that true. Firefly knew she was good looking, but she rarely let on that she was trying to flaunt it.
Thinking for a moment, she slightly tilted her head to the side. "Well...perhaps if it was someone that I was fond of as well. But I'm not really sure if he's all that fond of me..." She eyed him slightly, giveing a faint wink to him as she turned, flicking her tail and trotting off slightly away from him. Turning her head, she smirked lightly and gave her tail another quick flick.

Sibalto's ears flew forward, though he tried not to look as interested as he was. He gave a gentle rumble and paced after, eyes eager. "Do go on, my lady.... You have my attentions."
With a flick of his tail he kicked up his heels and trotted after, comming along side her and slowing his pace to match her's. Stepping in unison with her, he took a moment to enjoy her company. 'Lady Firefly..'

Firefly's tail continued to flick back and forth casually as she walked along. "I don't know. I just think it would be silly for him to really be interested in me. I'm not the most interesting mare that's out there....I mostly wander around the lands, nothing exciteings really ever happened to me. Unlike some of the other Soquili that my two legger owns. They've had adventures and the like...So I'm not sure if I'd even be able to keep him interested either."
She didn't even make a notion to look at him. Her dark red eyes were locked on the trail she had plotted infront of her. Not that it actually lead to anywhere. Firefly had just felt like running. She still had a bit of a running streak after the little chase earlier and needed to keep her legs moveing.

Sibalto flicked his ears back and forth, chewing on his words as he considered what to say.
"You interest me, My Lady." He offered, arching his neck and clearing his throat. He colored slightly, and pranced a little to hide his embarrassment. Hiding behind his multi-colored forelock, he watched her. "I wander, but aside from comming here, I've had few adventures... Perhaps we are more alike than one would think..."

She smiled lightly and turned her head to look at him, stopping in her tracks. Her tail stopped moveing as she stood there and looked at him. "Is that so? Well then...."
Giggling softly, she nipped at his mane and tugged on it a bit before letting it ago. "Perhaps we are more a like. Kindred spirits maybee..."
