Thanks Nana! *hugs*

I got over to the community college today.
Web Design is a "continuing education" corse and therefor not elligible for financial aid... blah, blah, blah...
So I don't know if I just want to take my generals or what.

Hehe ~hugs~ I can always use those. ^__^

I would suggest getting your generals out of the way. It shouldn't cost too much (although admitably, it won't be insignificant), and I found Community College to be pretty fun and rewarding with all the various people there.

I took a British lit class and a World lit class with the same teacher, each class broken into two semesters. He was the nicest man, and he had a following of retired people from Carmel who loved to take his class just for the fun of having him teach them.

The funny part was that he had to give tests, and they had to take them as well. xd

Yes, hugs are wonderful things! 4laugh

Well taking generals that are required for a specific major and majoring in generals are two different things... If I go into a specific major there are about 16 credit hours that I need to take of generals, if I major in generals then I'd have 30 required generals and then more elective generals...

Oh... I hadn't thought about that.

Have you set up an appointment with a counselor? If you can that is.

It probably works different else where, and my college experience has been so limited (since my Community College works with the CSU system and specifically the university that Care and I attended), but usually it seems are specifics that you can get out of the way.

When I was admitted into CSUMB, they looked over my transcript with a form that broke everything down into sections. So they'd check that I had math and history and English. And of course there was another form to make sure they were legit classes.

Yeah, I'm not sure that I want to take all of those generals, but at the same time it would be beneficial to just have a degree and if I had a degree in generals no one could say that I needed generals... theoretically. *giggles*

I did talk to an advisor, that's why I know there is such a difference. I mean there is a choice in generals to an exctent, but still...

That has to be the cutest heart I've seen you make yet! And that's saying a lot considering your other hearts! User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

I'm glad you've seen an advisor already; this stuff can get so confusing! Are there classes that cross over for both the general major and the actual subject major?

Speaking of all this stuff, I need to register for a test today, while I actually have money. xd

Thanks Tea. *luffs*

Thanks Nana. I love froggies! I even have a pet froggie named Frosk. whee

I need to look and see what overlaps that'll give me some time to figure out what I want to go for. 3nodding

*laughs* Yeah, I need to take some placement test, but that's goign to have to wait for another day. I'm headed over to Mom's today 'cause my aunt's going to be there.

Hehe... family. heart

In Puerto Rico, the mascot is the coqui. It's this tiny little frog that has a legend behind it. I remember my dad having a lot of stuff with the coqui personafied. He'd do things like play a quitar. xd

Oh placement tests... yuck! I wish you luck on those. When I first went to a community college, somehow they placed me in the lowest english class. surprised It stunk. I tested out of the lowest English class, but still I could only go up one class. So I had to deal with being taught the difference between nouns and verbs over the summer. I wasn't a happy camper.

Nana:
I think I've seen the coqui on Post Cards from Buster...

School actually started yesterday and I still can't submit my financial aid... :XP:
I also don't know what I'd do with the girls and I havne't had the chance to get over and take the placement tests. Looks like school's pretty much out for this quarter.

For anyone who comes here and is interested.

Wow! This thread has been active, huh? Sorry for not coming in such a long time.
Hey Jen! Now I know of two moms who love grogs. One would be you and the other one would be my mom. Imagine that! Too bad she isn't into Gaia and online stuff... rolleyes
Oh and thanx so much for the cool features you put in my Fantasy user names at the reinnasance-fantasy guild. If you notice, you'll see I even changed the second post a little while using some of the stuff you added. That way you won't have to edit my post so it fits the rest of the features.

It's totally ok to miss school this quarter. wink Since you're still preparing and all. But don't give up. Some times it takes a bit to find your groove.

~waves to hypnocrown~ Hello.

Hypno:
That's fine. This guild has no activity requirements.

Really? That is cool.
Um, sure... it's been so long since I've even looked at the stickies and announcements there. I've had so much going on both on and off Gaia. sweatdrop

Nana:
Thanks. *hugs*
I really hope that this can work.
It would be so good to get back to school.

*waves back to Banana-nana* Hey there! You have a real cool avatar. Do you like magic the gathering?

Thanx Jen! I guess I'll try to be here more often.
I see. Still, I managed to understand what you did so I could edit my post without making it look different or out of place.
Nice plasma gear heart btw... 3nodding
