Impulse.. Written by Ellen Hopkins. The same Author of Crank and Burned.
Currently Finished Impulse. And reading Crank.
These books are written entierly in poetic verse. They are amazing.. But be warned.. some of the things that happen in these books can get under your skin. It did mine..

White Oleander, by Janet Fitch. It's a bit depraved in parts (Um, skip over if you've got a weak stomach) but the writing style's beautiful.

Walk Two Moons, by Sharon Creech.
It's like one of those books you read when you're little, but you don't quite understand so you put it back on the shelf for a while. Later, you take it out, dust it off, read it again, but put it back another time, puzzled and unfeeling and just a little wary of the emotions hiding under the pretty words. The third time you read it, you cry. An amazing book.

I haven't posted on Gaia in a hot minute, but uh...
Anybody read The Wayfarer Redemption by Sara Douglass? I've only read the first book so far, but it's gripping enough for me to want to read the next book.

hum. i like to read good books. I'm all about:
Broken - by Paul Hughes
Needful Things - by Stephen King
Corporate Porn - by David S. Grant
Go Ask Alice - anonymous
my current [attempt] is Finnegan's Wake by James Joyce. that's some crazy junk right there.

♠ Out of curiocity, has anyone ever heard of the book Finding Laura Buggs by Stanley Gordon West? It's such an addicting book. I read it for English class, then my mom read it and she's going to lend it to my grandfather so he could read it.
Anyways- has anyone ever read it? ♠
