Yani was curious to know more about this arrangement of Keirs, so he nodded about continuing it over dinner and took the offered hand. He'd need help here for sure, since he'd never been here before.
"Thank you," he said politely to the driver, nodding his head a bit that he understood that he would be waiting for them when they were done.

Keir fairly remembered this place. She remembered Silver swiping the cards before gaining access, luckily enough she had them somewhere... Ah! There they were, she held them out and grinned.
"Okay, follow my lead," she held onto his hand tight, and almost pulled him up to the door, showing no sign of nervousness, nor being all girly. She seemed relaxed and just like the normal Keir... She decided just to enjoy herself, and the company of Yani.

Yani did as she said, feeling way better about this than ever. Maybe it was the absense of Silver and Sati, who he thought made this out to be a really big deal...this was actually kind of fun!
"Hmmm it's pretty quiet here. I take it this is a pretty well hidden place...it'd have to be with the name The Retreat..."
((Gonna have to go shortly))

As Keir swiped the cards, the gates opened, showing that an extreamly large man waited for them. Dressed in a black tux, he bowed to the pair. "I am the Gatekeeper. If you would follow me, I will show you where you shall be dining." With that, he turned, walking at a slow pace into the walled town, leading to a rather nice resturant, where he left them in the care of the Matre'de (Can't spell today. XP) "Now now, what are your names?" The woman was maybe 3 and a half feet tall, and was standing on a set of stairs to reach the top of the podium where the guest book was.

"Well.. Its a place for 'different' people like us. People in here won't stop and stare. So we're pretty much grand." Keir smiled and sniffed, following the man into the tux, up to the lady with the guestbook.

He laughed a little at Keir's comment of food and followed behind her. The large man startled him at first, only because the voice was unfamiliar, but he seemed friendly enough...plus this was a place meant for people like them. This was definately a good thing.
And then another unfamiliar voice, asking for names. Yani took the opportunity to answer. "Reservation for Yanisin and Keir."
((okay, i gotta run. Stupid work!))

The woman smiled. "Oh! I remember now! Follow me! Follow me! You have the balcony table!" She went down the stairs, leading the way briskly through the resturant out onto a terrace that overlooked the ocean, with a small table set for two in the middle. "Here we are M'lord. M'lady." She pulled out the seats for the pair of them, then gave a small bow to each. "The Waiter shall be along in a few moments with the menus, and to take your orders for drinks. Everything has been settled in advance, so don't worry about a thing." With that said, she bustled back inside with a kind of brisk energy that seemed to envelope all things small.

Keir smiled, "wow. A balcony view. Silvers gone to some extent eh?" She watched the busy woman buzzle off. Blushing, she took her seat, okayokay, so it felt more like a 'date' now. All this gushy romancy balcony'y stuff. She couldn't speak to Yani now, her throat felt really quite dry, everytime she tried, it came out like a little croak.
"So.." She croaked. "Er... I guess this is the... date?"

Yani took a seat as well and carefully let his hands drift over the settings to help him familiarize their positions for later on. He was growing more nervous too, as the settings became more intimate.
"You know what...I don't even want to think of this as a date," he said after a pause, rubbing his forehead. "Because if I do, then I get all nervous and stuff and it shouldn't be like that...Too much pressure...." He would have glanced up at her if he had that ability, so instead he interlaced his fingers on the table's edge.
"It might make you feel better to think of it as just a fancy dinner....? I mean, don't get me wrong, I....ah. Well, nevermind." He hoped she didn't get offended that he was now trying to not think of it as a date because labelling it that way made things so much harder.

She grinned a bit, Yani was already nervous, at least they both had something in common today. "Why are you nervous? Its just a 'fancy dinner'," she teased slightly, tucking her chair underneath the table and spreading her arms out on her dress.
"I what? Go-on.." She chuckled lightly, just to herself.

"Nothing," he answered, also grinning. "It's nothing." He didn't feel like he needed to add what he was going to say since Keir was apparently going to go along with his line of thinking and she didn't get offended that he didn't want to think of this whole escapade as a date.
"Now, fancy dinners can't start unless the diners know what they want...drinks first of all."

A lean man with pointed ears came over, bowing to the couple. "Greeting Madam, Sir. I am Rupert, and I shall be your Waiter this evening. Here are your menus." He placed a normal menu in front of Keir, and a braile menu in front of Yani. "Now, would you like to order something to drink now, or would you like a glass of water for now, and order your drinks with your food?" He stood waiting, smiling a little.

Yani's face flickered into an expression of mischief as he "read" the menu, hmming to himself. After a long though, he grinned.
"Fancy dinners usually have wine...." he said with a grin. He'd never, EVER drank a drop of alcohol before...but he mom wasn't here and this just seemed like the right thing to have with a dinner like this. "Do you like wine?"

Coughing, the fa'e screwed up her face. BLEARGH! Alcohol was nasty. She'd had a bad experience with it, and never touched the stuff since, well.. That was when she was a youngin. Maybe she'd like it now? Seeing Yani was going for it, she decided to agree.
"Sure, whatever."

Yani couldn't see her make a face so he hmmed thoughtfully before saying to the waiter "Bring us a bottle of chardonnay please. Any vintage will do." He didn't know much about wines, so he figured the people there would know the best one to pick.
To Keir, he again grinned. "I've never had anything like it before...but I've heard wine is a lot more tame than hard liquor or beer. Not that I know what either of those taste like."
