I love the idea of the skinwalkers. I have a worry though, so many people that get evil pets, don't really roleplay them as truly evil. Would there be a rule that would require skinwalkers to be evil? It would be disappointing if they were played as 'nicer'.

I also think the only pets that should be considered for skinwalkers should be either those exceptionally evil (as in, they have no friends, no loved ones, no flirt buddy, are complete loners, and 100% evil) or those that are nice so that the skinwalker that is changing them is doing so to be an a**. Just about the meanest thing you could do is take something nice and corrupt them to such a point that they become evil, anti-social bloodthirsty creatures too.
I just worry that people will go into this event, wanting a soquili that looks cool, but won't have the roleplay or evil to support it.

I agree with Meeki there. I've seen alot of people who realize just how much their 'evil' character is hated and then try to change him/her slightly to get it accepted by others. I'm assuming that, since Skinwalkers are so special, they'd be going out through some form of RP contest... Which would help weed out those who are only quasi-evil.
Pity it's only to turn pre-existing Soq's into one though. XD; Remy's character'd be ruined if he was turned evil. *pets her playboy*

Another question, since Skin-walkers are exceptionally evil and not known to breed, even with each other, should those Soquili with loved ones, mates, or families be disallowed in joining this event? I just see a lot of potential problems arrising if a mated Soquili suddenly became a Skin-Walker. There'd most likely have to be breakups which would just really suck for the other roleplayer.

I think this is a great idea! Me, I love playing evil creatures, but there would be some awesome RP that'd go with it. Although I think it sucks that only pre-soqs can turn into them. But its a good idea. heart

Although, when they become a Skinwalker, their mindset changes, but I think they still carry memory. So they may remember loving their mate (even if they no longer feel the love), so may be partial to the mate. They may not breed or RP the same way, but I don't think the Skinwalker would attack the mate or anything. It'd be interesting to watch.
I also think that a lot of people will roleplay a Skinwalker as evil, with only one friend they trust or something, perhaps even family.
It'd be fun to RP a Skinwalker. xd

I love evil characters too. Truly evil characters and not the watered down versions. stare
The pure Skinwalker just seems awesome. I want one so bad. XD

Being partial to anyone is not true evil. It's watered down. In order to be truly evil, you have no ties to anything, even people you once loved. That feeling is no longer there, and the memories would just feel empty and boring. Memories become something to resent, and resentment turns into true hatred, so if anything, they should be more angry towards people they might have liked once. And trust for anyone shouldn't exist. whee

True, but being *completely* evil will also turn into a lot of violence. Whenever there is a mildly-violent situation for a normal Soquili, a completely evil Skinwalker would make that situation severely-violent. They'd have no restraint and want to try and kill the Soquili, due to the lack of compassion.
Nobody wants their Soquili killed....thus, a lot of people will try avoiding RP'ing with this Soquili, leaving the Soquili alone, with noone to RP with in the first place.
Basically, RP'ing a Soquili as evil as possible may eventually lead the Soquili into being so hated its not RP'ing at all.
