I don't like the soft dance pads. That's what I have though, so I guess I have to deal with it because I don't have the money for a metal one. XD

I was supposed to have a metal pad about a month ago but my mom is too paranoid to order one off a website. So I have to wait until she checks some electronic superstores to pick one up. >.>;
I like my soft pads, but they die after 9 months of abuse. My favorite one wasn't smooth like the matts you find everywhere now, the top felt more like cheap backpack material, because it made that same noise when your nails scratched it. Anyway, it was just spiffier because my socks never stuck to it, and it had little lights all along the edges that would light up when you took steps. Always made me want to go raving. The matts at all the gaming stores today are so lame. >_< [/rant]

Yeah, the two reasons I don't like the soft mats are because they slide, and because of the noise they make. :[ I tried getting some kind of grip thing to put the mat on so it wouldn't slide as much, but it didn't really help.
Don't they have dance pads that are like, hard plastic...ish? XD I've seen people dancing on them on Youtube, I think.

hard plastic? *ponder* I know there are some really thick dance pads that feel hard, or do you mean like the barbie plastic hard?
Sliding doesn't bother me so much. It can be hard to AA or even A stuff, but it makes it more fun. It's like mission mode! XD

Never heard of hard plastic mats. XD Anyway, I don't like sliding because I'm not as skilled as you two therefore need to actually try to not step off the mat or miss the back arrow. XD;; Gosh, now I want to play DDR...

Oh gosh, you remind me of my friends! As soon as it slides on the floor they always start missing the back arrow. Always the back! & they swear they're hitting it and get all confused. Then they fail. Then I laugh because it's funny and I'm mean. rofl But it just happens every time!

But then again, those ones are usual shiny. (The metalic kind, the only good kind of shiny, of course.)
I know I shouldn't be mad at dead people, but there is a Captain Jack song on Supernova that is absolutely terrible. I'm dissapointed and... angered. I've never encountered one of his I didn't like, but it's some remake of an 80's song, and Gawd. It was a terrible song to begin with, why would he cover it?
...I don't remember the name so smile and nod.

Yeah, I guess that's true((about the price of hard mats)). I'd probably never buy one because I don't have a job and I never have money. D:

I want a job! But I know me, and I'm lazy. There's no way I'd keep up with school at the same time, so I think I'll go after one in the spring, and work through summer.
Poverty sucks
Plus I could get a job at the arcade and play DDR on breaks!
