Shey laid Koekje gently down into the nesting that Scribble had made, nosing at the cub, who in turn grappled blindly at her muzzle with his paws, hanging on with his tiny little claws. The Queen chuckled, shaking her nose slightly to loosen the little Prince's hold. "Little Jey." She murmured.

Scribbles watched as Shey settled down, making sure she was comfortable, then setting down Jenny next to her brother. He smiled and presses his forehead to Shey's, nuzzling her gently and affectionatly before leaning down to lick their cubs. He was sure he was the happiest lion on the planet.

"Beautiful cubs." Kairi said happily and calmly as she stood not far off from the family, standing tall. She wondered slightly if they'd notice her growth, but even if they didn't, it was fine with her. They'd probably be too happy to notice.

A small purple shape stumbled lightly through the grass as he struggled to keep walking. "w-water.." the purple cub panted lightly as he trudged onward. 'i refuse...to let it....end this way..!' he said determined to himself. 'i've been in worse.......' he said before collapsing in a tired purple heap.

Kairi's eyes flashed, and her eyes shot up to the clouds. In her own eyes, they swirled, dusk and light purples, parts glowing like stars... This was her power... to learn things from the clouds, but only she could see their changes. She watched for a moment, then felt a breeze. "If you'll excuse me..." the shaman said softly, bowing her head to the royals, before quickly darting off, her feet seeming to not even touch the ground. Soon, she reached the small cub that rest on the ground. He was without water, she could tell... Weak and tired. The pale lioness picked him up softly by the scruff, carefully and quietly, bringing him to the water's edge. She rested him there for a moment, hovering over him. Kairi picked up one paw, placing it in the water. She softly, carefully spashed his face oh so lightly so the little cub would feel the water, and hopefully wake to drink it.

Riku blinked slightly as water seemed to be hitting his face "mnn...." he mumbled "w-water..?" he said opening his eyes fully. without noticing the grown lioness hovering above him, his instinct to live led his face to the water as he lapped it up hungrily. As soon as he finished his ears pirked up and he turned on the green lioness behind him. He let out a small but threatening growl. "who are you..?!" he said defencively, if he had ever learned anything on his time alone , it was not to trust strange lions. His legs shook slightly from his long journey but he was persistent.

Kairi didn't move, just smiled lightly. "Do not fret, Young Riku. My name is Kairi, I am Shaman, of the lands you have stepped in, these lands being the pride, Darkest Warmth." she said with a dim, calm smile. [Don't you see it as even a BIT ironic, that her name is Kairi, and his name is Riku? -bricked-]

Shey's ears flickered, and she turned around, a warm smile on her face as she thanked the green lioness. "Thank you, Kairi." She murmured, turning back toward the cubs. She paused. Her head turned back and her eyes once again settled on the Shaman. Then something registered, and the Queen's smile stretched. "Kairi, you've grown!" She exclaimed, her joy at the birth of the two cubs momentarily overwhelmed by her surprise.

Riku flicked his left ear back passively while still staring at the green lioness "darkest warmth huh..?" he said sitting back lightly on his haunches giving off a calmer look. "am i going to be chased out again like before...?" he said going off into his own memories of his travels. His light front paws were darkened with dirt from his long walk and his eyes shown pain and wisdom far beyond his years reflected back through dark emotionless orbs.

((Hah, I'm so bad at keeping up with RPs xD -throws Shey and her babeh into the thread-))
Koekje pawed up against the warmth of his father's paws, scrambling about blindly until he had plopped his fat little body on top of Scribble, mewling as if it would help him any.
Shey chuckled, swiping her tongue across the cub's fuzzy head. "I hope he won't grow up to mind how much his sister looks like his daddy," She joked as she watched the cub.

Riku yawned lightly and his eyes blinked with wearyness. "If it wouldn't be too much trouble..." he said quietly "would i possibly be able to stay with your pride for the night..?" he said his bright blue eyes scanning the ground and not daring to look up at the green lioness. "I'll leave as soon as i'm rested enough... i promice."

Scribble chuckled at his mate's comment, looking to the tiny female bundle with a warm smile; a mile wide across his muzzle. "She does look a lot like me, dang" He took a moment to lean down, giving his daugher an affectionate nuzzle as Shey cleaned their little boy. "She is going to be one helluva handful" He snorted happily and looked to his son. "And he seems a bit timid, but he is still perfect" Scribble layed down next to his Queen and watched the beautiful scene a little more before looking up to the young cub; aided by Kairi.
He listened to the cub's voice, sorrow within and then looked back to his own cubs. Scribble would be heart broken if one of his babies ever had to endure what this young male had gone through. "Riku" The teal King stood up and walked over to him, nothing scary about his approach. "There is no need to leave so soon, nor promise. Its seems as if your journey was rough and seeing cubs out there on their own troubles me much." Scrible stood in front of the purple cub, his eyes soft. "You are most welcome to stay as long as you would like within the boarders of Darkest Warmth. Do not fret, no one here would ever make you leave."

Riku backed away slightly at the larger males presence "are you sure..?" he said hesitantly his bright blue orbs taking in the new lion. "no one has ever been this kind to me before.." Riku said his blue eyes filling with sorrow once again at the painful memories of his childhood. He shook his head the soft fur on his forhead shook lightly, the sign of a growing mane, as he shook off the memories and stood up straight and proud his blue orbs reflection a new passion for the land he was invited to. "I may not me very strong yet..and not as wise as you but i swear...as long as i'm in these lands i'll give my all to protect it. even if it means forfeiting my own life." he said. somehow, these lions seemed to welcome him, and for the first time he felt like he could possibly have a home, that he could possibly finally....be of use to someone. He bowed his head to his new king; the purple tuft dangling down into is violet face.

Scribble listened to Riku's words, a smile forming across his muzzle. This lion might not be strong yet, but his heart sure was and he would be a fine adult in no time at all. "Well then, welcome to Darkest Warmth" The King nodded his head and looked back to his cub and mate with a smile. The Pride was growing and he couldn't have been prouder.
