"uuff.."
*Grunting she twirled about in his arms feeling her shirt bunch up along the underwire of her chest's sole support, having been plucked from the center of her hiding place rather abruptly..and without warning aside from a few bright flashes of blue.*
*Willing herself upright, the two spun about, till the sense of gravity that tugged at the back of Kalie’s mind settled and quieted. Her legs locking around his waist, to cross in the back as she 'pounced' higher into his arms. Had they been on the ground that binding embrace would be the only thing holding her aloft aside from her arms as they loosely twined around his neck.*
*Kissing Tor playfully, Kalie softly laughed taking in the full extent of the dispersed cloud like mist surrounding them..her lips trailing across his jaw to lightly tease his earlobe while she whispered.*
"were you aiming for fireworks or..fog?"

"Just wait until we get going, there won't be fog or clouds for miles when we're through."
*He lightly bit her earlobe and sucked on it before moving down her neck. He grabbed onto her shirt and lifted it up over her head, pulling her arms away from his neck. With a flicking motion both her shirt and his went falling to the earth below. He ran his hands over her stomach and around her back up into her hair. Pulling his hands away her hair fell from his hands. Running his fingers along the fabric of her bra he moved to "liberate" her from it.*
((And I'm pretty sure after that we have to take it elsewhere ^_^))

*As the stars came to life in the darkening skies above, a shower of blue violet sparkles descended to blanket the two forms emerging from the shadows thrown across the night within the vine covered clearing. A soft sigh escaping the smaller of the two as their bodies became pillowed against the dense forest floor. The canopy of leaves above providing a shield against the winds, as the trees and vines concealed them within leafy walls. The scattered greenery and soft, almost spongy, moss giving the ground a less harsh quality.*

*Out in the distance a pained roar filled the forests as a creature some distance off had watched as the two descended. It appeared as some minotaur crossed with an ape hanging in a tree. A soft clicking sound, accompanied by a low hum, surrounded the creature as what could only be thought to be biomechanical implants were activated.*
~~~
*Tor lay spent and utterly tired out. The expenditure of his soul energies leaving him with barely enough energy to gently run his hand through Kalie's hair, but leaving a void within in combination with The Inferno Within that wouldn't let him drift off to sleep.*
*Waking for a second, yet still half asleep, Kalie brushed aside the faint echo of an animalistic howl of possibly anger or rage, lifting instead her fingertips in a gentle sweep across his chest. Runic designs taking shape in the delicate movements before her eyes, as her head settled onto his chest, her lids growing heavy once more. As her hand stilled and fell limp, peacefully draped over his torso, Kalie yawned..*
*The creature quickly moved through the Forests unhindered as his form became a black, unholy mist of sorts, passing by, through, and around trees and obstacles effortlessly. It was headed straight for Torment and Kalie.*
~~~
*Torment stared up into the sky as the last bits of flame left his hair. His breathing was a bit heavier than normal, but he was exhausted, it is to be expected. He made no sign of caring about whatever the beast may have been, it was a forest, a jungle, beasts are to be expected. He simply layed there, staring up into the skies as he ran his hand through her hair and over her soft skin.*

*Quietly slumbering, Kalie remained deathly still aside from one or two movements, her body partially sprawled on its side, Torment's chest becoming her pillow just as the growths, from the forest floor, pressed against her and lightly stained her creamy complexion with an artists brush strokes of green tinted watercolors, became her bedding..*
*Trapped within dreams, the creature remained thus..a dream of the outside world, nothing more then a ripple to her conscious.*

*The creature reformed into the lumbering shape as it approached the outside of the small grove with a light gust of wind. It was just enough for the creature to see inside. Its twisted features seemed to be close to rotting as the smell of death pervaded the area. With a small click a dull orange weapon with black veins nearly covering it entirely rose, poking through the screen, humming slightly. Tor glanced at it and slowly closed his eyes, holding Kalie as a tear began to form. A roar filled the jungle as weapons fire filled the night, as well as a pained scream and the splatter of extremely viscous blood.*

*As the first round ripped through the air and surrounding tangle of vines, far more then a ripple broke through Kalie's state of mind. Bolting upright, she went from soundly asleep to wide awake and on edge in an instant. Tensely flexing her fingers against him, Kalie sat curled up to Tor's side, her eyes locked on the general direction of the rapid weapon fire.*
"the ******** the shadow hidden within the vines, she squinted.. her perception unable to penetrate the dark mists that resides beyond their clearing, but not unable to tell some form of life resided there.*

"Kalie, listen to me. The beast on the other side of that curtain is no longer human. I want you to run as fast as you can, don't look back. I'll be fine, don't ask, just go. If my father sees you naked I can't start to think what he'd do to you."
*On the other side of the screen Tac was feasting on the still living elemental as its pain was increased ten fold before finally ending. A low growl filled the area as Tac reared back and let loose a great demonic roar. With a sweep of his horns he ripped the curtain away. The features resembled Tac, provided he turned into an ape with horns or something. He glanced at Tor for a moment and his eyes fell on Kalie's mostly bare body. He twitched once before letting out a roar and starting to charge towards the two, only to be caught by the pained elemental as it rose from its pained death with a sickening oozing sound.*
Elemental: Defile not the body of another! Marriage vows ye have!
*With that the elemental's claws seemed to dig into Tac leg and fling him straight over and above him with the strength of the entire forest behind him, slamming him onto the ground on the other side. It glanced towards Kalie and Tor for a moment, knowing it wouldn't be able to hold Tac for long.*

"whats wrong with him..? but..s**t.."
*Backing up, she quickly crossed one arm over her chest and one a little lower, but not before Tac got a full glimpse of the two. Startled by the horned creature that had burst into their cove, she wasn't completely sure on what her gaze had found, the poisoned thing before her bared little resemblance to officer that had protected her once before.*
"I'll find you again.."
*Leaning down, Kalie quickly kissed Torment's cheek, then jumped up bolting to the far side of the clearing, pausing just long enough to look back at him, concern, fear, and regret flashing across her features before she brushed the vines aside and took off in a blind run through the woods. The night's chilly air fueling her adrenalin as she wove through the cascading vine laced trees.*

"Run my love..."
*He slowly pulled himself to his feet, snapping his fingers as flames raged around him, consuming the forest with a heat greater than that of any inferno. Vines darted through the flames and wrapped themsevles around Torment and fell away, revealing a full set of clothing and a new pair of shades, unfolded in his hands.*
"Lets do this b***h."
*He set the shades on the bridge of his nose and pushed the into place with his middle finger as the Fist of Forgotten Sins burst forth from his hand with a small spray of blood that stained the forest floor.*
*In the exchange between Tac and the elemental, Tac had just ran both his horns through the elemntal and flung him to the ground, producing a horrible pained scream from the poor creature. Tor stepped forward and spun the Fist once and grabbed it properly as he held it out before him, tilted 45 degrees from the vertical.*
Tor: You have no idea how long a part of me has been wanting to slaughter you. Too bad that parts not here.
Tac: Do you ever shut up?
*Tac slammed another clip into Orcus and raised it, firing off a barrage of Magebane ammunition. The flames around Torment flared as he darted backwards and into the air, great columns of blue energy rising from the very trees to meet him. Tac twitched for a moement before he produced a bundle of grenades from his coat and tossed the into the air before firing off a round into them, creating a huge explosion of Antimagic. As Tor's soul manipulation was supernatural, the Antimagic field created hindered the abilities he had, causing him to fall, though at a slow rate. He glanced around, stuck like a rat. He couldn't use normal magic and was too drained for Epics...*
Tac: I think you just got ******** two times in one day!
*Tac waited for a moment and closed his eyes...waiting for something.*
Tac: Its coming, and you're going! I want you to remember one thing. I want you to remember that I'm not killing you for revenge. If you want to know why you must die, ask Cora, she played as much a part in this as I am.
*If time had stopped right there and advanced by milliseconds from the shots fired the bullets could be traced entering Tor's body and then the next millisecond he was in a completely different pose, thrown on the ground in a pool of blood, the life gone from his body.*
((that change is when he fades into the brink and i'll be RPing the events there another time. Basically Cora will get to watch Torment die.))
*Tac began a great echoing laugh as he turned and darted back towards the inner workings of the forest, dispersing into kist and disappearing entirely.*

*Breathing heavily Kalie darted behind a tree, her back hitting it with a thump as she slowly dropped to the ground. Covering her ears, the hail of gunshots quieted..the ringing in her ears fading. As a deathly silent veil lowered over the forest, the explosions, though brief had stopped.. the ringing ceased.. but all remained still aside from the rise and fall of her chest, her breathing gradually returning to normal.*
*With a sigh of relief, a sharp pain shot down her back, twisting her arm around, wincing her fingertips grazed the marred skin..the bark when she had fallen to the ground. Having the realization she couldn't safely move through the woods in her current state, she searched the nearby vines and trees..Taking several of the larger and in some cases stronger blossoms, leaves, and vines; Kalie knotted their stems together before twisting them around her limber form, the result giving her a thin covering over her chest and hips.. not enough to provide protection from anything deadly..but enough to give her a small shield.*
*Rising from the ground in her newly acquired 'threads', she caught sight of the trampled path marking her only way back. Gingerly taking one step at a time, she wove her way back through the trees.. her only care was to find Torment alive.*

*The forest was ripped apart. From where Kalie was she had a direct line of sight back towards the Tree, the now destroyed grotto, and the spot where Torment lay limp on the ground. Small flames still ran across his body as the 'clothes' he had quickly fashioned were slowly returning to the form of vines and plantlife. He lay not in a crumpled heap, but peacefully almost, as if someone had laid him down, his eyes were even closed.*

*As the forest parted, Kalie paused mid-step, a more then horrified expression coming across her pale stricken face. By the time she would reach the clearing, her frame shook from the tears she tried to fend off. A cold lifeless void gnawing away at her chest, at finding her lover dead..once again, leaving her numb and utterly compassionate less to the world around her.*
*Moving into the clearing, any sense of wariness had already fled, it wouldn't matter anymore, not to the currently functioning part of her mind. Kneeling down beside the hollow husk that had once housed life, she silently drew her fingertips across his closed eyelids..*
