kk! I think it would be interesting if we made Geffry fully understand the power that Prothel owns. Probably would just be a couple of grunts, though, cause I want Prothel's power to develop as we go along. NPC's who could nonchalantly take me down are OK as long as I'm not constantly swarmed by them (I've had trouble with this in the past). But I think we could finish up "A Strange Wind Brews" in 3-4 more rps and then I can focus on "The Anjts Support"

Oh, you mean that you want him to run into trouble on the way to the Anjts? That's fine I'm just trying to get your meaning.

Well I'm also talking farther down the road. Sorry I was a bit unclear in my statement. I'd prefer to make the rest of that particular arch end relatively smoothly, and then we can have things get bumpier as we go along. Obviously if we have too powerful of enemies following Prothel, he won't be escaping into the forest.

So, what do you think about my profile? Should Tesunie's mother be running, or should she stay with her baby boy, raising him in a city trying not to have him as a slave?
More opinions can't hurt. 3nodding

Ok, that appearance is fine with me. Tesunie I don't mind. It was a fast read. About the running away part, I was thinking that she saw how wrong having men as slaves where when she fell in true love with Tesunie's father. She also didn't want her child to be raised as a slave, hence the great escape thing. She tried to leave with Tesunie's father, though she ended up not being able to because his owners went after them, most likely for theft seen as men as slaves, and thus considered property. That explains it better, you can go ahead and add this to your profile. The history may have just seemed odd to me because it was so concise. Plus I was really just trying to maneuver you into a position where you could meet up with Prothel (Dark_samurai's character). So go ahead and add this. Then, if you really don't want your character to grow up in Feretris, then we can say that the radicals helped him escape just like they did prothel. In fact it could have been the same escape escapade if they are close enough in age, but they were separated soon after. He would then probably end up with the Anjts because they assist the underground in Feretris (but are generally against paramilitary actions like this raid). The whole tribe is waiting with bated breath right now for the raid to be over so that they may help take care of the injured and transport them to the Kiyap. We could start a thread about the main tribe in this case. OR you could have him taken away from his mother after she is caught for stealing a slave, but have a family member buy him and keep him in relative seclusion and safety/not a harsh life-- and have him escape during this raid, and meet up with Prothel. Whew sorry that took so long You were just so enthusiastic that I wanted to get you set today so I had to try to filter and explain my ideas for where to put you quickly

I like the second one! Then that gets me right into the action.
What thread is that one? The last link for the three you provided me if I am right.

Just tell me when you are done editing in your profile so that I may post it on the front page soon instead of four months later like I just did with some of these mrgreen That is indeed the last thread, OR you have the option of meeting Prothel before that in the first thread linked (the one he was talking about wrapping up) which is in the compound ninja

He already left that place. cry
Also, though it can get figured out later, what about his magic? Is that only Plains magic, or a mix of the (great) gene magic from the city. (The one that only women are suppose to have. He could have minor abilities with it, or maybe stronger in plains magic. Or it isn't even a factor, up to you.)
You can change the profile magic to whatever would fit. Also, done editing it for now, unless you wish me to change the magic myself. sweatdrop

If you want, I could start posting now in that last option. I think I have a good entrance right now.

Oh, maybe he meant that your character was following them? I can post to set that up for you if you want, since it would be "my" NPC that would have told him where to go. Would you like me to do that?
The profile is fine, thanks, I'll fix the magic if it needs to be explained more.
Yes he can carry the magic gene. His healing magic can have some aspects of the Feretris magic (they use theirs for hurting but it CAN be used for healing). You can construct his magic any way you want within obvious reasonable RP limits that I'm sure you're familiar with (no game-breakers lol). He can believe whatever he wants about where it comes from. If this were real life a geneticists could spend his whole career trying to figure out if some of his strength and ability came from his mother. mrgreen
FYI all/most magic is determined by genes it's just that only the Feretris ones required explaining. Feretris ones are generally only supposed to work with females because you need two copies, one on each X chromosome. However plains magic can work whatever way, likely a combination of several genes on both chromosomes so complex that it becomes nearly impossible to predict. So a healing plains magic could be practically indistinguishable from Feretris magic, and it's all in how the person is taught how to use it. There's no telling if the Feretris magic gene could somehow interact with the right combination of other genes.... so sure.

Okay.
I can just walk right in between your character and amaranthine_misery's character. Basically that could be what you are sensing, unless you have a better idea.
Also, my brother likes your role play. Can you invite him into the guild, or would you like him to send in a join request?
His name is Nathien Bloodguard.
(Either way to get into your story will be fine. I can work with either entry.)

That I am. I just like to role play. mrgreen
Nathien is PMing you his profile I think, seen as he can't post it yet. I'm dragging him in here, Mahahaha! Okay! Okay! He is coming of his own free will. Neither of us can resist a good role play.
