The man had quick hands, but Aiolos did too. He took out his conductor's from under his chest whistle and blew a stacatto, sending a burst of wind at him. He ran as fast as he can with a guy on him, right to the dam.
((Wait, gotta climb... Nevermind.))

"Damn...just have to keep drilling her..."
Instead of having his head in the gutter, Hein pulled back on another arrow and let loose a shaft at the fallen cleric. Without another glance in her direction, he fitted another arrow to his bow and shot. They weren't aimed at any one part of her body anymore. As long as she were a human pincushion by the time he was done, Hein was satisfied.

The rook wasn't stopping for anyone, it would continue to get its hits in on the dam. That was its only purpose. Running right in front of Hein, almost bowling over the half-golem, takeing a few bullets as it ran through Sam's crossfire. It pulled its fist back... FAAAAAAALCON PUNCH 10/12

Stryphe, seemingly the only one with the Shades that had any cover and was actively scanning the battlefeild, noticed both the gunner woman and the man with the bow- though he was a ways off. The woman had her guns pointed at Sunstrike- and from what Stryphe could tell, Sey was about to become a pincussion if she didn't have any barriers up.
In an instant, as Hein was drawing his first arrow, Stryphe was up.
"SEY, DOWN!" There was no way he was going to reach her before an arrow did, so he shouted advice and charged a bolt. The green needle of energy formed from his right index finger pointed straight for the archer. This energy would fly just as fast as an arrow shot from nearly any contraption, if not faster. It also flew straighter- the only problem was that it made plenty of noise. Both when fired and when moving through the air- the space around it crackling with the intense power. It was aimed for Hein's chest and, if it hit, would stick inside Hein and explode. It wouldn't be pretty.
Stryphe knew it wouldn't hit, though- not if the archer had his wits about him. He only hoped it would buy Sey some time to take cover and for the group to deal with the gunner woman.

Ping...
It was a hollow sound, before a tiny spiderweb started to appear in Sey's shield around Sun and it flickered alarmingly. Admittedly he'd gotten shot at, but most of the defence had been his own, sparing the shield and giving him half a chance.
Scooping up Flare he dove towards the rook, and consequently Sey. Then he blinked...
Water had begun to pool around his feet from large cracks appearing in the structure.
"Oh...damn...damndamndamn..."
Everyone down below seemed to be missing a big issue here.
"Sey, get moving! We gotta get the hell outta here and soon, SHIELDS woman! Shields!" Another arrow pinged off his own barrier, creating more cracks. He yelled even over Stryphes demand, trying to get the white mage to focus.

Zen chased after Aiolos as fast as he could naturally, he tossed three blades composed of blood at the half-golem as to slow him down enough for Zen to fight, but he feared Aiolos wouldn't be able to make it without cover, "What should I do?"

Stryphe was right. Hein -did- know that he had a green arrow-like needle hurtling towards him. And Stryphe also predicted well that it wouldn't hit. Hein jumped into the air, another arrow already at his bow string as he turned his emotionless glare at the Rook as it charged past him. The green needle went through just where he had been, the explosive shaft destroying a boulder that was a bit away from him.
In his hang-time, Hein fired off two shafts at the Rook, both at the shoulder joints, aiming to take off its arms lest it do anymore damage to the dam. Landing in a roll, Hein stood stock-still and pulled back tight against his bow, the bowstring taut against his thumb ring as he sighted down the steel shaft aimed at the Rook's left knee.
"Immobilize...and then utterly destroy..."
Letting loose the shaft, Hein didn't even watch if the first two arrows hit their targets, and instead began to scan around for where the green needle had come from. The b*****d who had done it would die.

The water mage was still following Aiolos, and now frantically chanting something. There was somebody after him, he had to stop this!

Oliveman The man had quick hands, but Aiolos did too. He took out his conductor's from under his chest whistle and blew a stacatto, sending a burst of wind at him. He ran as fast as he can with a guy on him, right to the dam. ((Wait, gotta climb... Nevermind.)) Shouyin went rolling back once more, getting to his feet a little more quickly this time. He couldn't really avoid the blasts at point black range, but he could certainly expect them and prep his body for it. He furrowed, trying to come up with a plan as he moved in again. That other guy was closing in and he needed to get rid of this guy and get on that new monster thing. Reaching behind himself, he slid the throwing axe he'd slung into the straps of the small pack attached to the small of his back into his right hand.
Running forwards, he timed for a moment when Aiolos was looking away, which he assumed would occur, since the guy would have to check in front of him at some point or run face first into the dam. That moment found, he'd spin around 360º, the blood blades, bouncing off his stone right arm before he faced Aiolos again and let fly. He aimed to catch the musician in the small of the back, or at least distract him enough to tackle him down and stab with the knife.

She didn't think, she merely obeyed Stryphe's shout and rolled from her prone position, the barely escaping the third arrow. As it was, her own barriers were slacking. Sunstrike's shout, on the heels of Stryphe's, was replied with only a nod as she got to her knees and prayed. "Falis, guard us all with your might." Fresh shields sprang to life around her comrades, though the expenditure took its toll. Sey gasped and swayed, but her casting was true -- her friends would be heavily shielded by Falis' favor. Gotta Love Those Barriers Luminescent Shield - A transparent bubble forms around the target and lessens the amount of damage a target takes from melee attacks for a duration of 15 minutes. The Shield can deflect sword slashes, thrusts and punches but unless the caster focuses her aura directly to the area of the shield that will connect with a strong physical attack, the barrier will be overpowered and broken. Barrier of the Saints - Deflects small projectiles (Non-magical arrows, knives, normal bullets etc.) aimed at a target for a duration of 10 minutes till overpowered or broken. Curtain of Light - In a spray of sparks, a Barrier forms around the target and lessens the amount of damage a target takes from magic attacks and telekinesis (Magic missiles, explosions, mind blasts etc.) for a duration of 10 minutes or until overpowered and broken. Curtain of Light can not hold up against strong magic/telekinetic attacks and is dispelled after a major hit. The Shield can deflect weak spells or the aftershock of one but unless the caster focuses her aura directly to the area of the shield that will bear the brunt of a strong magical attack, the barrier will be overpowered and broken.

As Hein turned his attention towards the Rook, Hakan shifted his aim towards the man and let the arrow loose. His aim, as long as the man didn't see and dodge, was infallable.
If the ice charged arrow hit, the spell would be released inside of Heins body, freezing him from the inside out.

Sam saw the water and cursed again. ********.... She didn't even bother firing at Flare. That dam was going to blow if something didn't happen. So her target changed again. And she fired at the Rook again, and wished for the last time that she had a bazooka. It would be volley after volley this time.

Two of the arrows sunk into the rook, one in the shoulder and one into the back of the knee. The third pinged off of the armoured shoulderpad type plate as the shade pulled back for another punch. And kept pulling back even as dozens of bullets hit it. It only had a little bit farther to go...
And punch again he did, the whole damn dam must have shook.

The b*****d who had done it was barreling through the riverbed straight at Hein. His already extreme reflexes were still slightly heightened from the spells cast on him not long ago, and he needed to buy quality time for the rook to do it's dirty work. Did he have a problem with charging an obviously skilled bowman? No, not really. He had plans. Stryphe focused deeply on the archer ahead of him- closing the distance fast. In his right hand was his halberd, in his left was a green orb of his own energy that, as soon as Hein had drawn that third bow after taking two shots at the rook, would fire off almost as fast a bullet for the ground where Hein stood. The impact would send dust and dirt flying in every direction- along with Hein, if he didn't move.
