Ceribri Twisted Davros Either that or a gigantic run-on string of made up jargon just to confuse the hell out of him. Oh. That reminds me of what he told Mickey in "Girl in the Fireplace". "What does that mean?" "Nothing, I made it up. Just didn't want to say 'magic door'." mrgreen Omg, Magic door! I couldn't stop saying that for a good week after watching the episode. My friends were all ready to smack me, except for my fellow obsessive who was singing it right along with me 123 MAGIC DOOR!

Seriously though, I'd ask him why he did it. Why did he steal the TARDIS in the first place and runaway? I don't believe his prattle about being bored. Something pushed him and I want to know what it was.

Something pushed him and I want to know what it was. Perhaps (if your a believer that he's half human) he felt as though he didn't really fit in... there are millions of theories. I wonder if they ever do explain that in the new series??

I wonder if they ever do explain that in the new series?? I don't really, I'm one of those who comes up with nice little twaddle theories to explain away the tv movie, it was just too aweful for me to take seriously. I like 8 though, he's fine... smile Probably its one of those things that would destroy all wonder if it were revealed if it were ever revealed, like the Doctor's name

They probably will never reveal his name, because... kinda ruins it, but I think they should reveal more about his past, probably make it clear whether he IS half human or not??!? give us some more clues as to why he stole the TARDIS in the first place? Then again, they might just leave it unanswered so we can argue about it.

Well, ... I can't remember, but it seems to me that most other Time Lords have insanely long and complicated names. Like Romana for example. Her full name I can't even remember. I'm not sure about the rest of them, its been ages since I've watched the old series.
So that made me think that the 'Doctor' can't really be his actual name. Besides, ah... did the Time Lords have more than one name? Like, middle names and last names? I really can't remember...
