Moe kind of felt her confidence level drop when Duke said that, but immdiately shrugged it off when Nagi brought her small smile back. She was happy that Nagi would help, but she couldn't help feel weak around them...Especially Lexi, now she was a bit afraid of her...Still, it bothered her...Who was she exactally?
As they entered the arcade, Lexi streched her arms high above her head. "Well then....Don't worry, you'll get stronger..." Then her voice lowered, "believe me"...She said this last sentence in almost a murmer.

Duke wandered through the arcade, looking at the different games, when finally he spotted it...Time Crisis 4.
"Finally, ive been waithin to play this for a long time" he said, as he walked towards the game.
He grabbed some tokens from the machine nearby, and quickly loaded some into the game. He removed the "guncon" from the slot in the front of the game, and proceeded to play.
With lightning reflexes and perfect accuracy, Duke shoots down enemy after enemy as they appear onscreen, with a single shot each. This attracts many onlookers who are shocked by his incredible skill.

Nagi watched as Duke played the game. For someone that used a sword he could fire a gun like an expert. It didn't surprise him cause the game was something that relied on reflexes mostly but his skill was commendable at least. He let the guy play the game, deciding that he would talk with Chii a bit more.
"So Moe, where do you want to start, this place seems to have everything. Oh it looks like there is some DDR here too. Wanna try that? It might be fun, though I have never played and never been much of a dancer. Still it can't hurt to try and have some fun, even if we look like fools right?"
Nagi smiled at Chii, making sure she felt comfortable. He wanted her to have some fun, and forget about her little accident, and if he could manage, for her to stop worrying about Lexi.

Chii stared at Duke, and smiled. He is really good! She thought to herself, she had never been much good at anything...Then when Nagi mentioned DDR she tilted her head not knowing what it was.
Lexi frowned, and could tell that Chii was confused. "Stupid...Its like, a game where you dance...By stepping on the colored arrows." She pointed at the game as chii turned to look.
Luckily for her...Chii had been a hip hop dancer in a group for several years. Her only real talent, that hse didn't completely screw up at. "Oh...I don't know..." Of course it was always different from real dancing..Wasn't it?

Nagi tilted his head to the side surprised that she would be so apprehensive about something as simple as a arcade game. He still didn't like the fact that Lexi was insulting Chii, but he would leave her alone for now.
"Oh are you sure? Well if you don't want to do that what would you like to try? Is there anything here that you want to play?"
He looked around checking out the other games. He wouldn't mind playing some of the others, but he felt that the most important thing to do right now would be to just have fun with Chii. After all she still seemed nervous, and who wanted to do something in an arcade alone when they felt that way?

When the gameplay paused for a cutscene Duke said, "Ok, enough simple play, lets make this more interesting."
He then inserted some tokens into the second player slot on the game system, and removed the 2nd player "guncon" from its slot. Now weilding two "guncon's" Duke resumed gunning down enemy after enemy as they appeared on both screens of the game.
Onlookers were truely amazed by this display. Not only was he playing on two seperate screens with 2 seperate "guncon's", but he was continuing to do so with perfect accuracy.
Soon, Duke reaches the end of the game. After the final cutscene plays, Duke places the "guncon's" back into their slots, and smiles.
"Highest score achieved. Not bad for my first time playing." He then walks around looking for another game to play. Then thinking that maby he would try to patch things a bit with Lexi, he walked over to her and asked, "Hey, Lexi, wana try a one-on-one game of Silent Scope?"

Chii glanced around finally sighing. She then smiled, her eyes glowing with childish innocence. "Okie dokie! I'm going to try this! : "I'll prove to Lexi that I'm not stupid!" Chii was taking a stand, as she approached the DDR machine. She watched the demo, watching the people dance and the arrows flow up the screen. She smiled, glancing back at Lexi..She wasn't paying a lick of attention..Chii didn't really want to do it, if the person she wanted to impress wasn't watching..She sighed and nervously waited by the machine, hesitant to step up.
Lexi wasn't really impressed with Duke, or anyone for that matter..Seh didn't honestly care, and say nothing special about a toy gun and a stupid machine..She folded her arms, and stared at Duke apathetically. "In fact, no I don't. I have no interest in your games..They bore me.." As she turned away, she caught glimpse of Chii. The only person Lexi had any sympathy for was Chii.., and that was the only one she would show any affection to..Even if she sounded like a b***h while doing it. She stormed over to Chii, and pushed her onto the platform. "Damnit...Get up there you idiot..." Chii stumbled onto the platform, and stood there agape as Lexi put coins into the slot. Was she really going to play with her?
Lexi shot her an ugly look, "What are you looking at? Press start already.." Chii nervously fumbled with the coin, and slipped it in pressing the start button. Then Lexi replied with a evil smirk. "Now just dance..Look sexy for your boyfriends over there." She smiled sadistically , pointing over her shoulder at Nagi and Duke. Chii blushed, as Lexi slapped her in teh back of the head. "Dance already! Its starting!" Chii nodded her head almost tripping over herself.
Then music began to play, Cascada Everything Time we Touch. As the music played the two began dancing, almost as if they were professionals. Especially Chii...All of her shyness seem to melt off, as she danced. She swayed her hips, hitting the arrows at the precise time, and adding a little creativity to it. Then Lexi did something unexpected...At first Chii was a little surprised which caused her to miss a few beats. Now the two were dancing together, hand in hand. Twirling each other around , and switching player mats.

Duke watched as Chii and Lexi danced about. He was not so much surprised by Lexi, as after seeing her technique and ability when saving Chii from the fall, he expected that she would have a certain degree of body movement control. What he was truely surprised by was how great of a dancer that Chii was, and how the two of them seemed to be in near perfect sync with the others movements.
A smile moved across Duke's face, he rested his katana above on his shoulders, and leaned on a nearby game machine. He was happy to see that Chii was having some fun.
He turned and looked at Nagi and said, "Well, she seems to be quite a natural at it, both of them for that matter. What do you think?

Nagi was surprised when he heard Duke begin to speak. He was to busy watching the two girls dance. It was almost hypnotic the way they worked together. He was in mid thought when Duke disturbed him.
"Oh? Well if you want to know what I think, well it will take some explaining first. I take it that you sensed something about Lexi when she showed up right? Well the thing is she is a spirit, a ghost if you prefer, and she normally is inside of Chii. Apparently she has a few powers too, though what the extent is do not ask me. Though now watching those two I have an idea. They work well together, and since Lexi dances so well I will guess that they share some qualities. My plan is, and it will take time, and I am not sure yet, though your help will be appreciated, is to join them into one. What do you think?"

Duke's suspicions had been confirmed. He knew that there was something wrong with Lexi, and also, he now knew for sure that Nagi did in fact know something about her.
"A spirit, Is that all? Why did you not tell me in the first place? I may not be a man of magic and mystics, but I do know about spirits, I have come into contact with them before. Though I will admit that I have never attempted to Interfere with a spirit's existance. But if it will help Chii, then I shall do my best to assist you."

Nagi nodded in response. He was glad he could trust Duke to keep quiet. His idea was risky, and the fact that Lexi had powers made it harder, if not impossible. For now the best thing to do would be to observe them and wait till Lexi went back into Chii. He looked back at the girls and saw that the song had finished, both of the had gotten a perfect score, which was to be expected. He walked over to them and leaned on the railing near the machine.
"Wow you two work pretty darn well together. But tell me where did you learn to dance like that in the first place?"

Once the song was over, Lexi smirked watching Chii dance around in victory. She was blushing, and turning around giggling innocently. "That was fun!" Her atttention then turned to Nagi. "Um, well...I used to sing and dance in this group..." She blushed and played with her fingers.
Lexi rolled her eyes, yawning. "Pretty good for a klutz like her.."

"She's more than pretty good if you ask me, and you arent so bad there yourself Lexi." Duke complimented them both, to be kind to Chii, and to see how Lexi would react to a compliment, since so far, no one had really said anything nice to her, or about her.

Rose was still pale, the dark kingdom had been a very frightening place. Demons had been everywhere, and then there was that Lulu girl too. "Reinge-kuuunnn!" she cried, although she doubted that he was in a mall of all places. "That place was scary! I don't wanna be all alone!"
Rose was alone however, and by now she had lost all traces of that stupid, arrogant, stupid, flirting, idiot, Reigne! It made her angry that he was off somewhere flirting with some stupid human girl, and rose was here all alone; defending herself from potential perverts who just so happened to get the wrong idea.
It was disgusting.

The heels on the girls shoes clicked against the floor of the mall. The shoes themselves were a designer brand, for she could possess only the best when it came to items. The amount of riches she had was beyond comprehendable. The fact that she sold herself for sometime was only for her pleasure, not for money.
The girl's name was Ciara Bactra. She was the daughter of the well-known Bactra family, and had been engaged to the Prince of England. She was supposed to be Queen, but instead she lurked in darkness, searching for love that could not be found there. Considering her status one would wonder why she had decided to come to the school, and the answer was simple: she wanted answers. Of course clothes would not contain her answers, but nevertheless she still liked to shop. Having a boy around would make the experience all more enjoyable, but she wasn't about to go up to some random boy. She did have some standards, but oh how she loved to flirt.
