Make sure you read your stuff from your class too... There is lots of information here, but take it with a grain of salt. I mean, I found it on the internet, and just because it's on the internet doesn't make it correct.

I have a question..Does your hymen have to break?Like if my mom still has her hymen(I don't know if she does though)Will it break in the future?Or is it just by chance?

Some women aren't even born with a hymen, so some women don't have a hymen from the beginning. But for the most part, a woman is born with a hymen. Most females break or tear it during sex. I'm presuming that if it hasn't torn during sex, then it would tear during childbirth, but I'm not 100% sure. Other females have broken their hymen by things completely not related to sex - activities like horseback riding, gymanstics, using a tampon, etc.
