randyo the books rock but the movies could use more. frist one was ok, secound they improved but need work. 3rd what the hell? 4th right on the money exept for voldermolt's look!( HE HAS NO FREAKIN NOSE!!! scream ) His face was supposed to resemble a snake. It looked like one. domokun

i got up to "order of the pheonix" pg 657 and i gave up. i havent touched another one of those books since. she makes them too long, too descriptive, an too boring. the only characters i liked were ron, fred, an george. stare

I am supposed to be reading book 5 xd I would have finished it by now, but the book is so damn big I can't carry it with me in my bag like I do when I read other books..So it's a pain.

There seems to be a lot of comments that the books are too big/long. Personally, I can't help but think that maybe people only think this because they no longer have the patience to read. In all honesty, I don't think they're really all that long. Read the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon... the fourth book is 1010 pages long (the hardcover version, anyway). People need to stop whining about the length of books and just enjoy the reading process.
