Kaldorei I like them. smile Interesting, that your theme is a series of self-portraits based on how others perceive you. So how would your art be different if you drew according to how you perceived yourself? They are really nice, and I am totally jealous. domokun Well, that's really the question, isn't it? I'm lucky because the people in my life have been incredibly open-minded and supportive, no matter what I wanted to do. They love me and encourage me and that's what I'm surrounded by everyday. If I were told every day that I was stupid and couldn't do anything and nobody told me any different, eventually I would come to believe it. Whether that would take days, months, or years depends on my self esteem, confidence, and strength of character. I can only guess at how others might percieve me, so in the end it really comes down to how I percieve myself. If I'm positive and happy, that'll make other people happy and more upbeat around me, but if I'm depressed and grumpy all the time, they won't want to hang out as much. Also, if I have a positive self image, then, as others gather around me, I wouldn't think, "Oh, I'm so unpopular and nobody likes me because I'm ugly and mean." I would be happy and know that I'm a good person who's worth it. That's not to say that I never get depressed, grumpy, or discouraged, because that happens to everyone. I guess what I'm trying to say is that people base quite a bit of their self-image on what they think others are thinking. However, that's not the other person's feelings, they're your own. It's you trying to interpret other people's actions based on your own experiences and values. And so, to conclude, I was thinking about what others think when I created these, but in the end, it's still my perception and not theirs. So there's really no difference domokun heart .

Tard Muffin Art:Go to: http://brattierthanthou.deviantart.com/Picture: Poem(s):1) Shadow, shadow Come to play When the Sun Has gone away. Dancing on the Temple Walls Watching sunlight As it falls. (^Inspired by Sabe. Thanks, Nii-san!) 2) --Clad upon the drifting shadows Of where I used to be A body lying still No soul, but above floats a spirit That remorses for it's loss Loss of a lifetime and a chance to succeed But go towards the shining city of glass Across the shimmering sea To the place of unbridled dreams --Come to the place of Heaven's eternal fantasy Come glide upon feathery wings As cherubs sing their hymns Choires of harmony entice you To widst you cannot deny And let yourself cast away Into the divine lord's arms once more. 3) Walking down The road of Time Your hand in mine..Nothing but our Sovereign sunset. A golden state of mind..Please, love. Never leave me.. Never...And if need be, I'll walk in Time With you.. nice art! aww ur good lookin 3nodding wow nice poem eek
