The Real Tom Sawyer He sighed and lowered his head,"Damn this is getting to me. I can't even crack a joke right now. There's gotta be somethin' wrong with me." He cracked his neck and looked around,"Oy, mermaid. You commin' or what?"
She shrugged, following.

Cringing under his gaze, she began to make hand gestures. "But then what happened to the other two boats alongside the Titanic? They all sank. They were also very, very large. Don't make me go all historic on you."
Wrapping her arms around his waist, she retorted, "And you know me. I'm always getting paraniod from movies. I can't help it."

Scott put his hand onto Valdecia's cheek softly and used his thumb to wipe away some of the tears. "There's no need to cry, love," he told her, a smile playing across his face as he came into the realization that she had actually accepted his offer. He was glad to have someone to be by his side that could protect him when he was in danger, which was something he would have appreciated back at the mansion. Destroying the spirit of the house on his own, with a small amount of help from Kris, had taken its toll on his body and then he had ended up in the hospital with a few minor injuries to his spinal chord. It hadn't seemed like a good day when it had occurred, but, looking back on it, he had saved Kris' life and the System had ridded themselves of the menace of the mansion forever, hopefully.

"So Gill, when they have that costume thingy in a few days, what are you going as? Down on the lower level, there's a couple shops there, and one is renting out costumes for everybody. I'm gonna see if they have an army uniform. Whaddya think?"

"Well now, that's gonna be a problem." Grabbing ahold of Gill's collar, she proceeded to drag him out of the room.
After making it halfway there, Kris turned to Gill. "Now then. Do you want to walk down, or do you want me to drag you?"

Growling, she let go of Gill, letting his head fall to the floor. Sitting next to him, she pulled him over, and hugged him, chin resting on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry for everything, Gill. About you blaming yourself, for worring you...I'm so sorry..."
