Alaric wanders into the library, brushing his hair out of his eyes and muttering to himself. "Urgh... i haven't seen anyone i'd feel comfortable talking to all day. wonder if they have any self-help books? or maybe a fanatasy noel will serve me better...."
He wanders through the stacks in search of a good book or good company...

Karasu returned to her favourite domain, refreshed from the well-made Chai Latte. As she entered, she saw a guy who looked like he needed help looking for a good book. She approached him.
Do you need any help?, she asked the brown haired boy.

Alarc looked up from the shelves to see a green-haired girl in an exquisitely gothic dress. "Oh! Thank you for offering. My name is alaric. D'you think you could help me find the fanatasy section here? there's just so many shelves and i can't seem to figure out how it's organized sweatdrop "

Ah, Fantasy books are near the Horror books, just this way, she said as she motions Aleric to follow her.

"But Frey, I don't WANT to 'read'! I want to go home, and.. and sleep.. or.. something else! ANYTHING other than THIS!"
"Iris.." Frey sighed, leading the fairy to a chair. "You're supposed to be quiet in libraries.."
"I don't care," she whined, digging her heels in the carpet in an attempt to at least slow down the impending doom. "I don't CARE."
"You -- why don't you just -- shut up for a minute?" Frey hissed, a thing which was very foreign to her. "I'm taking you here so you can learn more about humans and what they do. Besides.. you might meet some people here, too. Nice people," she said. "But not if you won't stop screaming like that. If you're so set on acting like a brat, I'll just take you to -- to the park or something.. you can go down the kiddie slides like the three-year-old you're showing yourself to be."
Iris said nothing, knowing she had been outwitted, and instead flopped down in one of the chairs and slouched, giving her 'sister' the dirtiest look she could muster at the moment.
"I'll be back with some books," Frey said, apperantly ignoring the glare as she turned to the aisles. "You behave, you hear me?"
She didn't respond to her as she disappeared into the aisles, instead twisting in the chair to see who else was in the library, and if they were interesting.

Oh thanks, but it's nothing that special, she said. She was never used to taking compliments. Uhmm... books? Anything really, I like to know anything and everything there is. I tend towards factual more than fictional, though there are some good titles out there ^_^, she added. Books were Karasu's passion heart

"Excellent!" alaric's eyes lit up as he came out of turtle-mode "Perhaps you can tell me some good titles- Mamma Pocky's always telling me i need to expand my interests. heart she always says ' the more you know, the better' and you wouldn't believe some of the things i've found in our collection at home!" Karasu's eyes widened as Alaric started chattering, it was like he was a totally different person.
Wow, that I didn't pick up on. Never had to chance to read up on butterflies, know of a good book? Oh... uhmm... a good book. You still want a fantasy book?

" well, fantasy has always been my master, so yes. ^_^ How do you tell your way around this library? I don't see any labels on the shelves or anything... we shuld be to fantasy books by now. sweatdrop "

Trouble entered through the library doors, looking around for a brief moment. Within minutes he had a book and was sitting in a large chair, reading. His feet were tucked under his large boots and one of his hands was curled into a fist, his chin resting on it as he read from a book titled The Alchemist, the author being Paolo Coehlo.

Hmm, yes, here's the Fantasy section. I think you can get maps of the library at the reception counter. Uhmm.. fantasy books... you can try The Chrysalids if you haven't already./color]

Iris 'hmm'ed as she watched the other people there. They seemed .. normal enough. This would call for --
There was a small thmp as Frey returned with a large stack of books and dumped them on the table. "There! Iris, this should be enough to get you up-to-date on humans," she said, a slight smile on her face. "I'm going to go find some books for myself.. you get started."
Iris looked, with slight horror, at the huge stack of books, and at Frey. "Do.. do I really have to read all these?"
"If you want to be able to understand humans, yes," she said. "I'll be back in a moment."
The fairy made a slight sound of disdain, but grabbed a book off the top of the pile. She swung her legs up on the table and leaned back in her chair, 'accidently' knocking over the pile of books as she did so. Snickering slightly, she begun to leaf through the pages of the book she held.
Of course, being Iris and all, she soon grew bored. Eyes sliding to the side, she confirmed that Frey wasn't back yet. She sat up and carelessly tossed the history book onto the small mountain of books covering what was once a table, and wandered off into the aisles, looking for someone to talk to who wouldn't tell her to go back to studying.

Alaric bows once again and plucks a book at random off of the shelves. "I shall most definitely keep your suggestion in mind, and- ooh! "Alaric begins pulling books off the shelves "I haven't read this one yet, or this one!" From behond the stack of books, he tells karasu "Thank you so much for showing me around here! if you'd be so kind as to turn me in the direction of a table? ^_^"
( i gots to go to bed, i stayed up too late last night and i know i'll be staying up late tommorrow night. )
