Aya'tas ears flicked to the side, it was dripping water. Although a noise common along the river, this was accompinied by a scent. "She's this way." He turned his direction and headed for a small clearing in the grass. The area was only a few yards from the river, since he figured Kali was getting a drink. Aya'tas plodded in and watched as the Adu slinked through the grass towards him. "Hello Us'kali."

Kala continued to trail Aya, closely, yet distantly. The lion slowed a bit as the Adu'ladi came within sight. Likewise, the younger lioness also came forward from behind her mate and also greeted the elderly lioness. "Good evening Mother." Her ears flattened once more as she awaited for one of the two others to speak. However, neither spoke up as quickly as she would have liked, but a soft breeze whispered into her ear, calming her ever so slightly.

Inclining her head slightly, the weary old adu smiled. "Greetings to you, daughter, and also to you, Aya'tas." she stated, her voice low, melodious and infused with warmth, the only part of her that continued to seem young, for it had lost none of it's power to her old age. Raising her head back up to meet the younger lions' sharp gazes, she blinked, curious as to what had brought them to her, but not one to rush an explanation.

"The spirits U'kali, they request the clans meet, once again, in Star Groove." He raised his head towards the sky. He was trying to get to the point faster then normal, and did not pause for any useless chattering or questioning. "I suggest we leave tonight, since The Wolf Clan is very close by. We could make the journy together if we hurry." He set his strong focus on the Adu. She was a older, but she ruled the clan well for her age. He couldn't complain, but usually most of the things he asked of her, were going to occur no matter what he said. At times it simply seemed like she was the middleman that kept him from following the spirits the way they should. He sighed, "What do you think?"

Smiling serenely, Us'kali nodded her head. "Indeed, we have never missed a clan meeting, and so we should, indeed, make our way there with due haste." she said, understanding the frustration that she saw radiating from his expression. "Would one of you like to gather our remaining pride members, so that we may travel to the clan meeting with the wolf members?" she queried, her gaze, faded though it may be, fixing on her daughter with steely determination. It's long since time that she began to think like an adu...after all, I don't know how much longer my paws will tread upon this earth... Us'kali thought to herself wearily, keeping all of her concerns for the future out of her facial expression.

Asa'nunu paused in her drinking, quickly padding away from the water, as instinct told her to do. Who knew what kind of predators lay waiting beneath the seemingly calm waters. But as for the real reason she'd stopped, she had smelled another clan along the river. The Sky Clan, their scent made stronger by there being more than one of them together.
And along with that smell was one that made Asa shiver out of excitement. Aya'tas was with them! Perhaps if they hurried along she could catch up to them. Glancing down, she realized Tsi'lihu was still beside her.
"Come along, Tsi'lihu." The adolecent lioness lifted her muzzle to the wind, smiling fully. Her daughter should have been able to at least realize which clan it was. "Let us go speak with the Sky Clan."
Mindful that she shouldn't seem too excited, Asa'nunu padded gracefully along the patches of grass, her tail swinging slowly back and forth behind her. She was supposed to be grieving, and didn't want to be seen bursting along the riverbed in a flat out run just to see Aya. U'yosi and Asegi would eventually find the two of them.

Aya looked at Kala, "Can you gather the clan, Kala. Its something you could do." He smiled teasingly at Kala. He knew of her troubles with her upcoming responsibility, and he just loved to poke at that fact. Aya felt happy, the transaction went smoothly, but it was still a tad pointless. "Hmph, meanwhile I'm going to try to determine what direction we are going to head in." He plodded past U'kali with a lowered head as if bowing from her presence. He needed to find a high place to look at the stars.
He didn't really need to find the direction he was heading in. It was really just a reason to get out on his search for the Wold Clan. They were a lot closer then the rest of the clan suspected, at least that's what he thought. Aya, trotted to the river. There was a large rock that jetted out into its flow. It was perhaps high enough. He scratched his way up its polished surface. From there it was clear enough to see the sky and to spot a white lion within a mile.
((Uh...has the other clans met the new kiddies? Like Asegi and Tsi?))

((Let's say they haven't, unless someone is extremely against that. xD))
Asa'nunu was making her steady way towards him and the Sky Clan, her bright snow white coat a beacon on the dried dirt and grass of the lands. She kept her head low to the ground, until she caught his scent again. Her blue eyes jerked up, seeing him ahead on top of the rock in the middle of the river. An immediate smile blossomed on her maw, and she held back a giggle. Asa, of all lions, had the urge to giggle upon seeing Aya.
It had been so long since she'd seen the other Clans, since they she had given birth to Tsi and Asegi, and now they were cubs. She couldn't keep the smile from her face as she jogged towards him, trying to seem as if she weren't in a hurry.

Aya took a second to look around before catching sight of the beacon of Asa. Her white coat painted on the plains. His eyes widened with stiffled happiness, he would have run to her if he hadn't noticed the second white coat. It was a youth, probably only a few months. He tried his best to stay calm, but he could barely contain it as he walked towards her. Must, keep...composure.

Asa'nunu paused in her quick movement, turning to her daugher. "Tsi'lihu, do you think I could trust you to find your father? They can't have gone far, I can still smell them."
Not waiting to see whether her daughter wanted to go find U'yosi, Asa hurried the rest of the way to Aya. She butted her head under his muzzle, purring contentedly. Her tail flicked the grass behind her, revealing how glad she was to see him.
"I've missed you, Aya," she murmured, nipping at his ear playfully. Her eyes seemed to come alive around him, and her shoulders were no longer weighed down by the grief of losing her Clan. Reassuring herself that her daughter would simply think she was just greeting Aya, she licked his ear with a long pink tongue.

Aya failed in keeping his composure when she came at him like that. He just couldn't stop ginning, and purring, and acting like an idiot. Then again, that's what love sick little lions do. He rubbed his head against her shoulder. "I've missed you to. How long has it been? And who was the squirt?" He kept that sly grin on his face, curious and suspicious along with a hint of amusement. If Asa was able to bore a child in their time apart, it must've been a lot longer then he thought. Then again, all the days merge together without her around. He licked her head, before pressing against it purring. Black and white, such opposites, but opposites do attract.
((OMG! Aya is getting all funny and cuddly! *cuddles*))

((Heee ~giggles~))
Asa'nunu sighed, basking in his attention. Oh, how she'd missed him. It was as if all her troubles melted away around the dark lion. "Too long, Aya, far too long. And who?" The young lioness half turned, glancing back to Tsi'lihu, who had been left a great deal behind down the river. "Oh, her. My daughter. Continuing the Clan, you know." And that was all Asa thought of it, with U'yosi. Making her Clan stronger.
She continued to purr, a soft feeling of contentment settling over her. "Where is the rest of your Clan?" Though she couldn't stand to be away from Aya, the pale lioness also had to keep track of where both their Clans were. If they were caught together, who knew what would happen? The Wolf Clan would fall apart, and she assumed it would be no better for the Sky Clan.

"Oh?" Aya looked at Asa's daughter, she definetly had her mother's goodlooks, but a sad dread filled his heart. It was very angering to see Asa'nunu with another lion, no matter how important it was to her clan. He turned back to Asa, did she feel that way to? Was she jealous about Kala? Deep down he really hoped so. "huh? Oh they are overthere." He threw his head back, forcing his dark hair to fall back in a weird wave. He pushed up against Asa, and rubbed against her. She was warm, and without her warmth it made the night seem even colder.

Asa finally realized that her daughter would still be able to see them, and the close proximity of the Sky Clan. They needed to get away if they were ever going to be able to get anything done.
"Come this way," she murmured softly, breaking away from him only for a moment, leading him over to a patch of trees not far away, dense enough no one could notice them upon a mere glance at the trees.
The young lioness watched Aya, lowering her haunches to the ground and sitting beneath the green trees. She was in a way jealous of Aya's mate, because Asa herself couldn't be seen anywhere with Aya. Kala could flaunt him all she wanted, though Asa knew she wouldn't. Baring her teeth in somewhat of a grimace, she waved one paw to Aya, beconing him over.
For not the first time, Asa wished her Clan hadn't been torn apart. It was agonizing, having to meet in secret with the one lion she really loved.

Aya followed behind Asa, the little squirt might've seen to much, but maybe not. She was a good distance away and most likely had her head in the clouds, like most kids her age. He wondered where his own daughter scampered off too. He put those thoughts behind him. He ducked under the trees foliage. It was rather dark under there since most of the leaves blocked out the silver rays from the moon. He smiled at Asa, "So how's the clan? He flashed a smirk, the question would've seen rude if it came from anyone else. It was a very touchy subject for Asa, and he knew it.
