The dreading feeling returned knowing that she'd probably have to see Marc eventually, but she just smiled, waved, and then left to go enjoy her Marc-less morning.

Gavin looked at Haki and then back at Hadrian. Oh, big decision there. Haki's room, or new place he'd never seen before. Big, big decision. He didn't think he could make this one by himself. Haki to the rescue again! He looked toward her and said,

"Haki decide."

He figured she'd probably like that anyways.

Haki pondered. She wanted to show Gavin the new stupid barbie that Marc had bought her, but she wasn't sure she wanted to return home now. She knew the vase had been brokened, and if Marc was awake, maybe some time to simmer would be better.

Besides, she had never really been to Hadrian's apartment before. Once yes, but Ismet had been there and she had been too enthralled with their conversation to even consider exploring.

"Here?" she asked, hopeful. Her chest puffed out a bit as Gavin let her make the decision. Oh wow, so much power in her little hands? This was fantastic! She could get used to thinking up all the ideas...

She looked around, wondering if there would be anything to play with. Maybe Hadrian had something hidden away in the deep dark corners of the apartment... that would be fun.

Opening the door, Hadrian let the two toddlers in. His plans...well, he was just going to let them run wild, so long as they didn't destroy anything important.

If they got rid of a few decorations - well, they weren't actually his, so he didn't mind so much. As long as they didn't destroy them messily.

"There's the tv, if you two want to watch it..." Please no. He couldn't take Dragon Tales this early in the morning. "And aside from that, feel free to explore."

Gavin hurried inside. Wow, this place was almost as pretty as Haki's! They could have lots of fun in here. So many breakable things too. Haki should have taken him down here to fetch something. Less stairs.

He blinked. Television? Mommee had never really let him watch tv before. Not that he hadn't at all, just nothing was on that really interested him. It was usually just a bunch of people in suits talking about stuff with other pictures moving off in corners and such. Mommee called it 'news,' but he didn't really like the 'news.' Mostly because he didn't understand the big words they used. Maybe Haki knew of something better.

"TV?" he looked at her curiously, his eyes asking her if she wanted to watch anything more interesting than 'news'.

Haki blinked. "Gavin no know TV?" she said, aghast. It was what her daddy put on whenever he wanted her to shut up and leave him alone. A little bit envious that his mother loved him enough to never resort to such a drastic measure, she looked around, pausing as she spotted the remote.

Well, she would introduce him to the deadly and often dangerous world of...

Channel surfing.

"Gavin no know barney?" she asked. "Or..." and she began to name a bunch of other very important stars that played a large role in her life. Why someone would be ignorant of this, she didn't know.

How... tragic.

"Come, Gavin." she said, pointing to the couch. Or did she mean Go? Well, either way. SHe made her way over and sat down.

And looked over at Hadrian. Would he watch it too, then?

Hadrian...was drinking coffee, in the hopes that maybe the caffeine would help his headache. Tossing a smile over at Haki, he shook his head - no, he was going to just sit there. Watching the tv was bound to just make it worse...

Well, actually he didn't know for sure. He didn't watch television, and had certainly never tried with a hangover.

He'd join them if they wanted him to join them badly...but until then, he was just going to rest his pounding head.

Who was this Barney that Haki spoke of? Gavin wanted to be enlightened. He shook his head as an answer. The closest thing he had to a TV character was his awesome Hawk Man doll that Osha gave him. Mommee said something about cartoons, and he knew cartoons were on TV. Maybe they could find a Hawk Man show!

He followed Haki to the couch and climbed up to settle himself comfortably. Being that he was now curious, he had to ask about these cartoon things.

"Hawk Man on TV? Hawk Man doll say so."

"Hawk man?" Haki asked curiously. It sounded like one of those super heros... but she had no time for things like that. Sometimes she liked to watch, but most of the time she was busy with her learning shows.

And her movies. The women always wore such pretty outfits in the movies. One day, Haki planned on wearing outfits like that too! Which answered why she was so intent on the learning ones.

If she wanted to rule the world...

She needed to know how to spell, and talk proper.

"Barney dionsaaaar." she said, nodding her head. Flipping on the TV with practiced ease, she paused. At home, it was on 33. It was easy to remember, that number.

So she pressed the furthest number button on the right, at the top row. She knew this meant thirty three if she pressed it twice.

'I love you~ you love me~'

Haki beamed. "Barney!" she presented. She didn't agree with some of this man's philosophies, such as sharing. But if he could create a world just like that, she wanted to too.

Twitch.

That was what Hadrian's eyebrow was doing, as that specific theme song came blearing through the speaker's of his television. What was this?! A child's show of some sort, that much was obvious.

Glancing at the tv, he took note of the purple dinosaur.

Right.

Aww, Gavin wanted to watch Hawk Man! Didn't matter that the show was only on at 6am in the morning, a time that had passed hours ago. Haki didn't even seem remotely interested. He'd have to eventually inundate her to the awesomeness that is Hawk Man.

He cocked his head to the side in confusion at the TV screen. What was that big purple thing singing on the screen? It was scary. Big, giant open black mouth. And teeth. It was going to eat him! It would sing horrible music at him and devour him and his beloved softies.

"Gah!" he cowered under one of the fluffy throw pillows on the couch, his wings sticking out quivering. "Scaaaary!"

Obviously Remi never introduced the currently whimpering Gavin to the concept of dinosaurs and the love most little boys have for them.

Haki turned, watching Gavin with a look of curiosity. Scary? Barney was scary? Sure he was kind of ugly, (who put purple and green together like that? Honestly.) but it wasn't so bad.

Still, when she saw him, his wings stick out from under the pillows, she began to giggle. Oh, look at him! He was so cute.

"I change, then." she assured the boy, picking up and scrolling up.

'and on a good day, the mother hawk goes flying in search of food for the hatchlings---'

Discovery program for kids! She ooh'ed, and frowned.

Well, they weren't quite as pretty as the boy next to her, but still.

"Look." she pointed. "Feathers!"

When the sound on the television changed from seizure-inducing singing to the drone of the voice that seems to narrate just about everything on educational channels, Gavin cautiously peeked out from the pillows.

Now this was interesting.

They had sofites, just like his. Hawk. That's what the monotone voice had called the birds. Hawk? Like Hawk Man? These things didn't look anything like Hawk Man. In fact, they looked more like Gavin than they did Hawk Man. This confused him.

"Hawks lookie like me," he stated simply, blinking at the television in confusion. They sure were pretty. Just like him!

Haki beamed, and nodded her head. They did they did! She turned to look at Hadrian, waving at him as she waved back to the TV. "Haydren! Gavin on TV?" Well, maybe not Gavin. But it was close enough as she stared, looking at the feathers.

She still had her feather collection at home. Didn't know what to do with it half the time, but that wasn't an issue. Maybe she should go after those things too! That way, then she'll be able to have a bigger feather collection.

And then, she'll make a froo froo out of it. Or something.

"Gavin famous!"

Glancing over at the tv, Hadrian felt himself smile. This young, and already they could recognize their blends - or well, at least Gavin's was recognizable. He had a feeling the animal blends would notice theirs more then the item ones.

"Something like Gavin, yes."

Not quite Gavin like they were thinking of it. But he wasn't about to go into an explanation of the blending just yet - maybe when they were older. They probably wouldn't understand it at this age.
