"By land, huhn? Well, if you wunt, you can stay in at the local inn fer the night, get some rest. You're gonna need it," the older man suggests, listening to your conversation. "In fact, I can just take you there, 'ave a werd with the owner, is all." The man stands up, slowly getting to his feet. His boots lightly tap the floor as he makes his way across the wooden floors towards the tavern's front door. "Ready?" He give a crooked, toothy grin.
"'Night, maya," the yound women sighs, giving a small wave of her hand.
"Goodnight, mayor," the younger man says, nodding his head towards the older man's direction. "See ya tomorrow night, I suppose?"
"Of course," he replies. "Like always." He looks over the group of adventureres, sizing them up with a warm smile. "Let's go, then, huh?"

"Fine, fine, then. I must thank you fer your help," the mayor smiles warmly at you. "Here, this way.
You make way along a dark, dusty road. The moon is high in the sky this night, illuminating your path. About two buildings down--past the a small market and a jail--you arrive at the inn. It's large, wooden front gives false allegation to its actual size. It may seem like two stories, but indeed, as you step inside, it is only one.
"Just a moment," the mayor says as you follow him through the front double doors. They creak as you enter, leading into a dusty room littered with chairs, an old soft, and counter with a silver bell on top.
The mayor moves over to the counter, snatching up the bell and ringing it loudly. Soon after, a portly man with a shaved head and a long, red, braided beard appears. He climbs onto a small stool, standing at eye-level with the mayor.
"Aye, mayor, 'aven't seen yehs in forevers and agains, you know?" the drawf laughs, giving a pat on the shoulder.
"No, no, and I'm sorry for that. But, I do have a favor to ask," the mayor speaks warm and smooth, like flowing merlot.
"And what be that, sir?" the drawf crosses his arms, smiling.
"See that small group over there?" The mayor points to you.
"Yeah, I sees 'em."
"Well, I need you to give 'em the best room fer the night. Is that okay?"
The dwarf looks over, almost scolding. "Really? The best room?" The dwarf scrunches his brow.
"Yes, they agreed to investigate the ships," the mayor nods his head.
"Oh, I see!" The dwarf suddenly brightens up. "Okay, then, I suppose I can give 'em the best room, sees?"
"Ah, thank you again, good friend," the mayor smiles his warm, crooked smile again before walking back over to you.
"If you follow him, he'll be sure to show you to your rooms," the mayor waves a hand over to the dwarf. "And I'll be sure to head to my own quarters. If you ever need me, my home is north of the town near the edge of the forest, alright?"
