Karounos settled his head on his paws, bringing it close to hers with a soft nuzzle, "I love wanderin'... I've seen so many places and met some interestin' lions..." He gently licked the tear from her cheek, "...But... I could never ask you teh leave behind yer family... An' in the same way, I could never ask myself teh leave you behind..." He nuzzled her again, "I'm not sure how suited I am fer pride life, but I'm willin' teh give it a shot if it means stayin' here with you."

Naida's head shot up and her jaw dropped pretty much as fast. Her mind went blank trying to come to grips with what he said and having about as hard a time believing it. It was WAY too good to be true. She had news of her own for him, and had been debated on when to tell him, but decided now would be as good a time as any. She nuzzled him very happily, before saying, "My turn for some good news." She gave a roar just loud enough to reach the rest of her pride...it was time to reveal her little secret.

Santos trotted over to where Naida and Karounos lied. He sat on his haunches and tilted his head. "Something wrong?" he asked with some concern.
Nimbus followed after his father with Arsenic behind him. Sitting beside him he, too, tilted his head. "What is it Naida?"
Arsenic sat between his father and brother silently. He said nothing, just looked at Karounos and Naida with a unreadable expression.

Adia trotted up next to Santos and sat down looking at Naida with a 'what is it' expression on her face.
Daveigh looked up from the lizard she was stalking and over to Naida not a few feet from her. "Naida?" She asked curiously not sure what the roar was all about but getting curious every second that passed.

Karounos scratched his head, "What's the news, Naida...?" More good nes? He had no idea what it was, but he was excited to know...

Naida nuzzled Karounos before she began to speak, the excitment dancing in her eyes. "Well, I wasn't sure when I was going to tell you this, Karounos, as it depended on your decision....whether to stay or go. If you had decided that pride life wasn't for you, I'd of waited till after we left as I never wanted you to feel pressured to remain where you wouldn't be happy. I want you to know, that if you had decided to leave, I'd of followed you in a heart beat, because the day you leave me will be the day I die."
Turning her head, she looked at the others, knowing they had to be very confused at this point, and smiled. "As it is, he decided to remain, and so I feel I should share the news with all as it affects the whole pride. How would you all feel about having some more cubs running around the den?" She looked at Karounos and smirked, wondering if he'd get the hint.

Karounos's eyes spun to her, wide and aflame with amazment. "C-c-cubs!?" The blush he had worn when she had first spoken burned itself into his skin and his face turned a bright red under his purple fur. "Cubs!?"

Santos got the message quick and his eyes opened wide. "More cubs?! Oh that's wonderful! Congrats Naida!" he nodded his head in approval of the news and turned to Karounos. "And new member of the pride to boot? What a great day this turned out to be!"
Nimbus whooped and danced around at the news. "More friends!!" he cheered.
Arsenic nodded his head and smiled. "Congrats Naida," was all he said. Some might find it odd how quiet he could be, but he didn't really care.

Adia purred with happiness and nuzzled Santos. "Oh congratulations Naida, Kauronous! And I'm extremely pleased that you will be staying Kauronous. We're happy to have you." She said. So more cubs eh? The pride was growing. And quickly. Not that she minded though.
Daveigh squeed with excitement. "More playmates!" She exclaimed and jumped from her rock to join Nimbus in the dancing.

Naida was very happy at the pride's reaction to her news, and giggled at Karounos's utter shock. "Yes, silly...cubs. I'm pregnant." She licked his muzzle, then nuzzled him before adding. "You're going to be a daddy." She looked over at the others, and gave Arsenic a nod of her head and a wink. She always liked him and knew that if he had something to say, he'd say it and that he meant it when he did. He was different from Nimbus, or even his sister Daveigh, but that wasn't a bad thing at all. Looking up at Santos, she voiced Adia's thought, "Your little pride is growing."

Karounos blinked at her owlishly for a moment, "I'm gunna be a dad?" He licked her cheek and nuzzled her back, "Wow..." He couldn't believe what Naida had said. Only days ago he had been a wandering loner, content with his life. Now he was a member of a pride, and going to be a dad!

Santos chuckled. "I think you'll both make wonderfull parents. Don't you think Arsenic?" he looked at his son and grinned. The little one had a gift for seeing things that most wouldn't, Arsenic would surely see how fine of parents these two would make.
Arsenic nodded his head. "You'll make great parents, just like my mother and father," He pushed his forehead into his fathers mane as he said this and offered Naida and Karounos a small smile.

Naida nuzzled Karounos again, burying her head in his mane as she purred, "It's amazing the twists and turns life brings you, isn't it?"
((*Waves paw* This is fun! heart ))
Naida paced in the cave nervously alone, as Karounos had gone out with Santos to patrol the border and Adia was out watching the cubs somplace...or was she patroling...? She wasn't sure anymore who was doing what, with the pain that ripped through her insides. Clenching her teeth, she finally dragged herself to the little nest she'd made of grass to make sleeping easier. Curling up, she wondered if Adia had been through pain this intense.....

Sometime later, it was finally over. Panting, Naida was exhausted and longed to sleep, yet she couldn't resist looking at her lovely angels once more. Tearing her gaze away from ther sweeties, she looked towards the cave entrance wondering when the pride would return. Too tired to roar, she contented herself with laying her head on her paws and trying her best to stay awake...and failed miserably.
((Will be edited slightly when I get the pics of the individual cubs, but the end result of her falling asleep is the same xd ))

It was becoming dark by the time that Adia and her two young ones Arsenic and Daveigh were making their way back to the main cave. Adia had decided that instead of sticking around the cave she would spend some time out in the prides lands with her cubs. It was surely a different experience in keeping Daveigh in line outside of the cave especially by herself. As usual when traveling around the lands Adia kept both cubs on her back so they would not tire and she wouldn't lose them.
When she reached the cave Adia allowed both cubs to walk on their own and entered the cave. The moment she entered the cavern the scent of blood filled her nostrels and one thing came to mind. Naida... When she and the cubs had left Naida had been by herself as Santos, Kauronous, Yiska and Nimbus had already left for their normal activities. Worry quickly entered Adia's mind and she looked back over to Arsenic and Daveigh. "Stay put!" She commanded and then bolted into the cave and followed the scent of blood quickly back to the area where Naida had made herself a nest. She came to a complete hault as she spotted Naida lying with three little cubs beside her. She smiled at the scene and the quickly backed out to let the new mother sleep for the time being.
Adia returned to the entrance to the cave and smiled at Arsenic and Daveigh. "Everythings alright. We'll wait out here until everyone returns. So go play." Adia said and instantly Daveigh disappeared into the grass and over to her normal lizard hunting rock.

Kaorunos trotted casually back from scouting - he and Santos as split up - yawning as he neared the cave. The cool evening was refreshing, and he was certainly glad ot be out of the afternoon sun.
He came upon Adia outside, and wodered why she wasn't actually inside the cave. "'Ello," he said, bowing his head slightly to his queen.
