Velris sits down with Cross while Markhail goes and sits at the bar. A barmaid comes over and Velris says quietly, "I'll have an orcish whiskey on the rocks."

Standing up with his hands showing free of weapons and his holy symbol showing, biggrin "Please there is no need for violence 3nodding . As to friend here, he at one point of his life was subject to mad sorcerer who was testing the effect of spells on a human body. Before I was able to liberate him, he had permanately lost his hearing and his natural vocal ablilities. Through minor spells we were able to give him to some degree speech. As to why he might be detected as an undead is because the sorcercer grafted the spell known as Shroad of Undeath unto his body. So if for any event that he should escape and hide his hideousness from the world, he would be hunted by holy men and heroes as being undead crying . Truly I say to you, there is such sadness to those who can inflict such horrors unto a fellow being to such a degree as to hide forever under wraps and to its effect be permanate crying ." biggrin

A large, brutish half-orc lumbers in, obviously tired from travel. "Ack, adventure. It'll get the best of us," he says to no one in paticular. Soon enough he finds his way to the bar. There seems to be something unusual about his eyes, like they aren't really focused on anything. "An ale, please?" He props his head on his elbow, resting or thinking, or whatever it is half-orcs do when leaning on their elbows.

Markhail nods. "I see. As long as he does not cause trouble, I will not be forced to use the gift Hextor has granted me to control him."

Nerezza blinked vehemently at the new happenings. She finished her beer and, instead of leaving, waved someone over to order a stronger drink.

Velris the Blade Taps Goldenfoot slides a mug of ale over to the half-orc. "Here ya go, sir! What brings ya to these parts?"" Oh, nothing in paticular. Just a little adventure here and there, but I guess I'm getting to old for this." The half-orc sips his ail, smiling gratefully. " Ahh, that hits the spot!" He laughs jauntly with his deep, rough vocals for all to hear. " But ya see... I think I'm getting to old for this. I've already died once, and I know that my final ending is coming soon. Old age can't escape death; I know that much. So, hopefully..." he sipped his ail again. "...I can find a place of peace. Somewhere to spend my final days." The half-orc nodded slightly. " And that's my story. Well, sort of..."

sweatdrop Quickly adjusting his glasses in order to hide his red eyes, Faust turns to face his companions. biggrin "Do see now, Dimitri, we have done nothing wrong and the gods allowed us to pass through that incident without harm." biggrin
"Wow 4laugh ! You're so cool big bro 4laugh !"
Why do you think he only detected Brendon? Wouldn't we have been detected as well?
biggrin I think it's because we also have human blood in us, and that shields most of the other from being detected. biggrin
Like how a mother protects their own heart ?

Riven looked at the pair.
sweatdrop "Uh, this is awkward. Yeah, I'm Kyte and Sunset's cousin. The name's Riven." She turned to the twins.
"So how's it going?"
She sat down next to them, filching some money from the others at the table.
Kyte and Sunset looked at each other.
Do you think we should warn them about Riven being a Rogue?
No, they're probably going to find out soon enough. Didn't you see?
"Hey, Cousin. It's going good for us."
"Now, if you would be kind enough to return our friends' possesions?"

Putting a hand out to stop Brendon from removing Riven's hands, "No! Brendon she's Kyte and Sunset's cousin and is therefore a friend." After hearing what Faust had just said about charity, Dimitri closes his eyes for a second then he opens his eyesand holds out his hand, "Gimme domokun ."

Riven rolls her eyes with a smile and a laugh and hands over what she took.
"It's nice to meet you Faust. Who's he?" she asked, nodding at Dimitri.
