[mutipoo. that's bad spelling, but i don't care xD yeah, true. Um... Sayo is i think 17 o.O :didn't pick an age:]
Kaze, the old one, watched Kana expectantly as everyone clapped and said stuff; things like 'welcome, 'so glad to have you' and stuff like that. completely random, yes, but they didn't care. After a while, Kaze closed his eyes, as though thinking over what would be benefitial; he'd decided to do it, but still; it's good to think. Kaze had sat down and the food had started to come out, starting with some green salad with tomatoes and all that jazz.
[we can skip it if you want xD since neither of us like eating scenes]

[I... have no idea what that is. xD;; Hehe, Kana's seveteen as soon as we decide it's her birthday. xD;;]
Kana blinked, ears perking as she heard various comments from others around the table. She let her eyes wander to the older Kaze for a moment before snapping back to the table in front of her. She was greatly relieved when the food began to be brought out, thinking it would distract people from paying attention to her. Though, now she felt very much like she was in a resteraunt being served, because of how they were starting with salads and everything. But this was an entirely new world for her, and she didn't really know what to think, or expect. So, at the same time it was a little exciting too.

After the food had been cleared and everything, and new plates had been set down, Koichi excused himself; he pushed out his chair, bowed and said 'excuse me for a moment,' before stepping out. Everyone was chatting, all around them, about who knows what; some were talking in english, some in french. Either way, though, Koichi seemed to be gone a while. "What the heck is he doing?" Kazan whispered to Sayo, Kaze and Kana, "to be taking this long, I mena."

[Cake? o.o]
Kana sat in her chair, leaning back slightly. She was growing restless, not used to sitting so long and certainly not used to sitting in chairs properly. But she'd made herself keep her feet on the ground so she wouldn't seem rude by pulling them into the chair with her like normal. She exhaled softly, glancing at Kazan as she heard her comment. She nodded her head in agreement, looking rather puzzled now as she began to wonder about it. What was he doing? She looked around the room for a second and then back to her hands, which were clasped nervously in her lap. She'd long given up on amusing herself by listening to random words of others, finding she couldn't understand half of them.

Koichi, finally after about a half hour, returned with a huge grin on his face. He took his seat, and then turned to Kana. "Happy Birthday, Kana," he smiled. Suddenly, the lights turned off and the doors opened, giving in some light, as the outlines of people came in, along with little balls of fire; candels. They were singing something in french, although some were singing in english at the same time; happy birthday, apparently. They slowly made their way towards Kana, and then lowered the cake so she could see, indicating to blow the candels out. The room had turned quiet as they all looked on, smiling happily; they'd all known about this, the grownups anyway, and wanted to see the young girls face when the lights came back on which would be right after the candels were blown out.

Kana looked up as Koichi returned, turning to face him as he faced her. Her eyes widened as she froze, seeming like she took a moment to comprehend what he'd said. Her ears twitched as she looked towards the doors as they opened. Her eyes widened slightly, adjusting the sudden gloom, as she stared, obviously in shock. She watched as the cake was brought closer before finally stopping near her. She stared at it for a moment, then glanced around to see the many faces watching her. Her face was red now, but she was smiling happily. After a small pause, she leaned forward slightly to blow out the candles, attempting to get them all at once. It was a game she'd often played with her mother.

Koichi smiled as everyone started clapping, the lights turning on. The four of them smild, seeing she'd tried to blow them all out; they all always did the same. Everyone said happy brithday in unison, as a few butlers started passing out pieces of the freshly cut icecream cake; there was plenty, even for seconds. "Happy 17th birtyday, Kana!" her friends that surrounded her said once eveyrone else was done screaming, too.

Kana smiled happily. She'd honestly never celebrated a birthday with more than two other people before, so this was amazing and almost overwhelming at the same time. Still, she couldn't be happier. She grasped her locket gently with one hand as she looked at the four she was sitting with. "Thank you very much!" she cried. She was truely relieved that she was having her first birthday without her mother with such wonderful people. She'd expected to grow sad again, but she wasn't the least bit down. "Thank you..." she repeated again, softer this time, as she let her hand fall from the necklace.

[skipping the cake part, now >< which means, it's time for bet!! xD]
Everyone was shuffling out of the room slowly, Kaze being the last adult. Quickly, he got up and made his way to the group before they could leave. He bowed to Kana, not introducing himself since he knew she knew who he was. "It was a pleasure to meet you today, Kana. I wish you best wishes on your birthday," he said, before he bowed and started out of the room. Although he was head of the family, he was young and pretty tall. [forgot his description ><]
The gang had started down the halls again, towards the way they'd come; all their rooms were between the main house and Koichi's; for the vacation they were taking, anyway. Usually, Kazan would go to the otherside of the estate and Kaze with her, since he was alwyas with her. Kaze, though, was the first to leave, walking across the moonlight bathed garden, followed by Sayo who went back towards the way of his mothers studio; that left Kana, Kazan and Koichi. "I'll be near you guys, so don't get scared or anything," he chuckled, stopping at their door. "Kazan is going to be sharing a room with you, incase someone pops in and starts speaking french," he said, running a hand through his hair.
Kazan had aleady opened the door and said goodnight to Koichi, and started in. She knew Kana would come in and close the door when she was done talking.

Kana got up with the others, but turned as she realized the older Kaze was approaching. She blinked as he bowed to her and quickly bowed back, smiling happily. "Thank you," she said, then watching as he left. Then she followed with the group down the halls, her eyes roaming over everything as they passed. She watched as Kaze left, and then Sayo next. She blinked at Koichi's comment about them getting scared and stuck her tongue out at him. Though, honestly she was a little nervous and it was a relief to hear Kazan would be with her. She laughed quietly and nodded. "Alright." She glanced over her shoulder for a moment, just long enough to see Kazan had left, and then looked back to Koichi again, head tilted slightly.

"She's in there," Koichi chuckled, pushing the door back slightly to show Kazan jumping on her bed, up and down; she may be a little younger than than Kaze and Koichi, but she, like Kana, acted like a kid. "This is funnnnn!" she squealed, continuing to jump. Koichi just shook his head, turning to Kana and smiling. "Well, then, have a good nigh?" he said simply, not leaving just yet; he needed to make sure they were both inside.

Kana stared into the room as the door was pushed open, and grinned at the site of Kazan jumping on the bed. She felt a sudden urge to join in, but refrained for now. She'd probably do it as soon as Koichi left though. She turned back to face him, still grinning. "Ok!" she cried, a little too enthusiastically for someone about to go to bed. She was seriously considering turning into a cat so she could sneak out to the garden, but she also didn't want to get caught causing trouble on her first night here. "You have a good night too!" she finished, and then turned to enter the room.

Koichi closed the door behind her and headed down the hall, before making a right into his own room; it was his normal, usual room, and was still quite empty and dark, although cold at the same time. He sighed; his things had been brought in already. He changed out of the clothes he'd been given, and into his regular clothes, before heading out of his room. He checked first, to make sure the cost was clear, before making his way even further and then stopping; he was leaning against a rail, looking out at the sea from the house; they were located on the edge of the town and could clearly see the rocks below, leading into the ocean. He looked down, breathing in the salty air, before he looked back up at the steadily rising moon. He sighed again; he liked spending time with his father more than his mother, personally, but he didn't want to deny her of her own son.

[I need Kazan to go to sleep, so Kana can sneak out as a cat. xDD If that's ok... She'd probably follow the ocean. -cough-findKoichi-cough- >>;;]
Kana glanced back as the door shut and her ears perked as she listened to his footsteps fading away. Then she suddenly leapt forward, landing on her hands and knees on her bed and then flopping down to her stomach. She grinned, then closed her eyes for a moment before sitting up in a cross legged position. She glanced around and then looked to Kazan curiously. "Do we have clothes to sleep in?" she asked. It'd be odd to sleep in what she was currently wearing, and her earlier clothes had been left in the room where she'd changed. Besides, they were bloody anyway, with a hole in the side where she'd been stabbed. Now that she thought about it, she'd left her bag in Kaze's room as well... She remained sitting on the bed, watching Kazan for an answer as her hand gently placed itself on one of her bandaged arms. It didn't hurt, but it was kind of dully aching now.

[sorry xD for the delay, that is >< you coulda just said she was asleep ^.^]
Kazan nodded her head. "If that's what you brought. If not, I can lend you something," Kazan said, jumping off the bed. She ran over to a closet where there bags were. She came out with Kana's and held it out for her. "You can keep your stuff anywhere," she said, quickly changing into her own PJ's. In a second, she'd jumped into her bed, pulling the covers over herself suddenly, before she started to fall asleep. "Wake me if ya need me," she said, waving a hand over her shoulder.
