The power nine are 9 cards that were only printed in the first 3 sets in magic: Alpha, Beta, and Unlimited. Beta was first, then alpha, then unlimited. They are worth a ton. Here they are: Black Lotus Mox Sapphire Mox Emerald Mox Jet Mox Ruby Mox Pearl Timetwister Time Walk Ancestral Recall Library of Alexandria You can look them up to find out what they do. But a full set of all nine from betea is worth about $35,000. Lotus being the highest in price and probably timetwister being the lowest.

I really can't say for sure, because I don't have any cards of alot of value, pain lands piting needles and most of the newer stuff worth alot I have. No power nine cards here because I joined during the newer sets; I love Phantom nishoba because it was the first foil I opened vai pack. ^_^ heart

That or could have been the joke version from the Unglued set, there was a point when someone made a buncha fake copies and Ebayed them. Probly still happens, but I'm not sure.

Kilz88 So, 9th edition! Its only 3 weeks away! 2 weeks till pre-release! I'm so sad about 9th edition...because I won't get to play post-9th edition until december. Band takes up every day until 6, and all night on Fridays (when are the only days I really get to play, since magic here is dead). But, to compensate, I've already built my KBC/9th standard decks (U/R Ire of Kaminari and Mono-B Aggro).

i have a beta mox emerald. my most sentimental card is my greven il-vec cuz he was my first rare.i have a time walk too.
