Somewhere in the crowd that had started to assemble near the fallen rider, beyond the sight of anyone near the front rows, a slight grumbling can be heard. For some reason, it seems to stand out from the current dialogue of the crowd - probably because it wasn't hushed, nor gossipy. It kind of looked like someone was trying to push their way to the front of the line...but nobody wanted to give up their view of the show.
...another grumbled argument...
...then a series of rapid, hollow 'bonks'. Plowing a way through the twittery crowd came Ollie, in all of his sea-fairing glory. The shaft of his spear was currently serving as the prow of his bonking expedition, carving a path through the packed area like a ship through waves. As he reached the inner circle of onlookers, Oliver's stark blonde eyebrow raises. Trouble was a-brewin'.
"Like...what?"
The question wasn't directed toward anybody; the mariner was just kind of stupefied.

(( lmao. Someone tug on kat! xd We can make a train! ))
"N-na?" Sey was still tugging as hard as she could on the man, hopefully stalling him enough to direct his attention away from the kid.
"Your horse is hurt Sir! Please - stop attacking that boy!"

Sey (( lmao. Someone tug on kat! xd We can make a train! )) "N-na?" Sey was still tugging as hard as she could on the man, hopefully stalling him enough to direct his attention away from the kid. "Your horse is hurt Sir! Please - stop attacking that boy!" ((locomotion....... lol )) Kadoria released her grip on the girl with one, pointing to the oil and then the being who was creating the fire wishing she had more Eastern in her than simple words and curses. " Oil...Fire" Speaking the words in Eastern and trying to get her to understand. But she kept tugging on the man. She still wasn't sure who was in the wrong here but at the moment her concern was the two children, even if the child had caused the fire was no reason to kick at him. She was siding with Miss Seyumi at the moment "Look Mister leave the kid alone, what you can't handle a horse? so you pick on a child?" hoping some goading would get the man's attention more than the other girl's plea

The memories of the beatings he'd taken countless times from men like this were all too fresh in his mind. The man ignored both Sey and the bard woman in his anger. He only stopped one Icarus looked away from the man in fear and put his hand out to ward off any attack.
Now the man was just afraid. But it was way too late for pity from Icarus. Icarus didn't know pity. Right now, he only knew saving himself from a man who was going to hurt him. Something that would never happen to him again. Ever.
The oil leaking from the barrels was forming a pool in the street. T'would be the mans possible grave. And, though Icarus wouldn't wish it, possibly Sey's and Kadoria's, if they didn't move.
As Icarus could feel the power of the spirits running through him (and though he could not feel the drain of this on his inexperienced body, he would soon), he also felt his anger dwindling at the sight of fear in the mans eye. As his range subsided, partially because of his drained energy from the first bit of magic, and partially because of the two friendly people trying to get the man away from him (which touched him, for it's never happened before).
And so he began to slowly lower his hand and sat there, panting, staring into space. The pain in his arm forgotten, for the moment.
The man shook his head, "I'm sorry, very sorry, miss!" and turned around, walking around Sey and Kadoria. He was flustered, shocked and afraid. He did not want to be set on fire, and he was surprised in himself for even thinking that he'd harm a hair on the head of a such a scared little boy. He'd need to tell his wife about this... she was always good at comforting him when he was troubled. Still, his oil... it was all over the street now, because of that damned kid. No wonder he'd gotten so angry. He walk towards it, looking over his shoulder to see if the boy was still attempting to bewitch him. The childs hand was down. Thank god.
The man stood just outside the pool of oil, gazing down at it. This would have brought his family money for food for months! Now it was useless...

"Watch yourself, grubby peasant," Hikaru snapped at Kado as he grabbed the frail looking 'boy' by the wrist and pulled him back into the crowd; reaching ahead even as he did so and sweeping up Seyumi in his arms to pull her back, away from the fire and the two street-vermin that had caused the whole incident.
"Seyumi-chan!" he shouted, almost into her ear as he pulled her away, making sure that she could hear him over the din of the crowd, "Stay away from it, Seyumi-chan, it's not safe."
Two sets of reigns hung limp from two regal horses beside a market stand; the animals well-trained enough to know not to move until their masters returned. Kenji, however was nowhere near them at that point, having left a trail of shoved and toppled citizens in his wake as the headstrong young warrior charged towards the scene of the accident and towards the Kaikous, arriving only a moment after Sey had arrived, herself.

Staring dumbly (go figure), Ollie's typical goofy smile was still plastered across his face. Being able to look at it from a more objective point of view gave the mariner a wider perspective on things...literally. He couldn't resist himself, it looked friggin' hilarious.
Figuring it was time to serious up a bit, Oliver yawns lightly as he idley strides forward and places himself squarely between the fire and the assembled crowd. Of course, the Squalle didn't know how it had started, nor what the little kid was, but he could figure out quire easily who was currently the antagonist.
Yawning once more, the mariner swings the spear off his shoulder and into a relaxed, ready position in front of him. Hopefully, the mere sight of the burley, strong sailor with the long spear would be enough to divert the fire...but one could only hope. Quirking his head to the side, Oliver's smile becomes more of a grin.
"Uh...stop?"
Of course it was absolutely ridiculous asking a fire to 'stop'...but...it was the only thing that really came to mind at the moment.

Fei suddenly heard a commotion behind him. From the sound of it, something bad had definitely happened. He could also hear Seyumi's high-piched, pleading voice. This was not a good thing, if she got involved. Lao simply nodded to Kouji. "I have to jump into the mix again. I know that Teshigahara-sama won't like it, but she doesn't have a choice this time. She's important to me as well."
With that, he took off toward the scene, weaving through pedestrians and horses. As he moved along, he heard a faint splashing sound underneath him, and smelled fuel... This was much worse than he expected. If there were something that acted as ignition...
He prayed to whatever spirits were in the vicinity that Sey was not involved in this in any way, and that at least Hikaru was nearby. Otherwise, he'd have to take care of this himself. But that was all right- he swore that nothing would go wrong again, and he would make good on that.
As he leapt to a nearby roof to get a better view of the action, he saw exactly what the matter was- a man seemed to be harassing a child, apparently for no viable reason. On top of that, his horse was down and injured, his leg on fire. In addition, the barrels were leaking oil, and lots of it, hence the smell. Horse on fire... oil on the ground... he could already see the street on fire. Add that to the fact that the oil had quite a ways to go before being spent, and it was definitely the stage for something harrowing.
But the worst part was the voice that he heard. That he had trained his ears for years on end to recognize. Seyumi was down there. He also saw Kenji heading through the crowds, and heard the rushed gallop of a horse. Hikaru was on the way.
Murphy's laws state that everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. And it had, all at once. All he needed to do was take care of her, as well as the many people that were now in danger. What a way to end a nice walk...

"Well excuse me for trying to help someone" Her voice one of female indignation as she jerked her hand away from him before he could release it himself. Someone had apparently not toaught him any manners in the least, hell her brothers had more manners than him. She was trying to help her not rape her. However she had the girls package in her hands and couldn't very well leave with it tho at the same time the boy wasn't about to let her get anywhere close to the girl either.
Sighing she freaked a bit at the fire that was started and slowly backed up ,following after the two nobles, not sure what to do but try and give the package back... Growling at her lunch being delayed again she didn't even notice her shirt...her new shirt at that opened up, revelaing the bindings around her breast as she followed after them in her most apologetic manner "excuse me... the miss dropped her package" not bothering with hiding her female voice any longer ,she just wanted it over with so she could go eat and not be abused by the leass than noble nobles. If he would take the damned package she would be on her way to try and earn enough money for her own dress.

Alcyone smiled slightly at Kenji. Her grey eyes focused on the bar and she took a few small steps in the direction, adjusting her parasol so that she could see in the late afternoon sun. Carefully, she took a seat at the bar and ordered a cup of green tea and instructed the bartender to serve Kenji whatever he asked for.
A moment later, a steaming cup of tea was set before her and she carefully picked it up. The hot liquid had almost reached her lips when she heard commotion in the street. Annoyed she turned and adjusted her parasol again just in time to catch a glimpse of her charge tugging on an irate merchant's arm. The man was far bigger than her and Alcyone felt her stomach lurch slightly.
She set her cup back on the counter and hopped off her seat. A crowd was starting to gather making it hard to see Sey. She took short, rapid steps and started to viciously elbow her way through the crowd. Some people refused to move and those people recieved fast punches to the gut. She pissed a lot of people off but that wasn't her problem. Her problem was the fact that Sey was in danger.
She elbowed one last person and cut into the clearing, her jaw set and her face stern. The boy on the ground was of no consequence to her so she merely stepped around him. She bypassed the merchant, horse and every other thing not relevent to Seyumi and grabbed her wrist. Her voice softened so she could address Seyumi without frightening her.
"Let's go Sey-chan," she said," Leave this matter to the police."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kouji looked over at Lao and laughed.
"Oh she's like that to everyone," he said," She was like that to me for awhile when I first met her. Believe me, no one is in her good graces until they prove themselves to her. It took me a few months to finally win her over and a lot of hard work too."
Kouji folded his arms behind his head as he walked.
"However, when it comes to Sey-dono, she expects 100r;om everyone. She will not forgive any small slip-up from anyone, not even herself," Kouji said as he reached into his coat and took out a pair of bamboo chopsticks and started to chew on them as he thought.
"But yeah, if she gave any impression that she didn't like you before, it's for sure now. You are going to have to work exceptionally hard to make up for your screw-up-"
Kouji's head whipped around as he realized that Lao had taken off without telling him. He looked up in time to see Lao leap onto a roof. 'Piece of sushi,' he thought and followed except he wasn't as adept at the ninja way as Alcyone. He was but a Chuunin and barely one at that. He also had left his primary a**-kicking tool- his bow- elsewhere and he was left with the only available weapon which was currently hanging out of his mouth- a pair of chewed bamboo chopsticks.
After using his grappling hook to help swing him up onto the roof beside Lao, he looked down and saw his Mistress box someone's ears for getting in her way. He smirked at her and thought,' That's my girl.' He also saw Kenji and Hikaru battling the crowd as well. He looked over at Lao.
"I think we should wait here. It looks like Hikaru-sama, Kenji-san, and Alcyone have it under control," he said.

Diverting his attention from the raging inferno to what he considered to be far more interesting, breasts, the mariner laughs lightly as his hat unintentionally slips back over his eyes. His head was still pointed towards the girl-gone-boy bard holding the package, however, and she'd recieve the full force of Ollie's infectious smile.
"Hahehe, boobies."
It was immature...stupid...yet oddly hilarious. The burley mariner was still standing beside the fire, but his sightless head was still aimed at the deceptively beautiful young woman.
