Sepik Jettrick Sepik Jettrick, I was sceptical as soon as he began to sing the Ghost Buster's Song. Yeah, that was wincemakingly unnecessary alright 3nodding Although... It did make me laugh, HARD.Sadly, as soon as we saw ghosts in it, my brother and I started singing that song... So really they hit just our level of humour...

It made me cry real tears.
But not as much as realising the series isn't courageous enough to risk doing something original for the second finale in a row. If this is what RTD sees as 'pushing the envelope' I shudder to think what season three will have when they have to play it conservative to ensure being recommissioned <.<

Jettrick Maybe I'm the only one here who remembers what happened the last time the daleks and cybermen were shoehorned into the same production for the sake of scoring easy ratings. The Five Doctors, anyone? And that rather underwhelming Children in Need thingo...which co-incidentally also made use of 3D glasses <.< Now do you see why I'm so skeptical? xD Actually I always thought the problem with The Five Doctors was the shoehorning in of four extra Doctors, some random companions, and an over-the-top Master. The addition of bumbling Cybermen and a Dalek that can be shoved around by an old man and his aging granddaughter was just icing on the cake... Anyway, it's not the Cybermen or Daleks that makes me most excited about this story, it's that we're finally getting rid of Rose! Hurray!!!

Actually the reveal at the start of the episode was probably my favourite bit until the dalek rampage at the end...what a smart way to pre-empt all the spoilers the tabloids'llve been chomping at the bit to send out this week.

I loved it! I thought it was done perfectly. My only complaint is that Mickey's back, I hate Mickey. I loved when Derek Acorah came on complaining that no-one needed him any more. They really got modern day Earth's reaction to the ghosts down perfectly. Next week's episode looks to be an equally amazing conclusion. A fantastic method of bringing the Daleks back after TPotW.

And modern day Earth's reaction to the cybermen? Yes, I am still very, very bitter about the shabby treatment these guys have had this season evil

I'd be free to roam the universe forcing my opinions on all and sundry with my sucker plunger of moral affrontery and insta-death ray of indignant fantwaddle. Plus I'd be all shiny and have 360 degrees of articulatory goodness :3

I think the Cybermen have been handled exceptionally well this season. They look phenomenal, sound great and have an excellent story behind them. How can that be considered 'shabby'?
