Well, as far as I've noticed the only time in the series when they put highlights in his eyes was when he was being beaten up... I've come to the conclusion that highlights=cute, and that they were trying to make people feel sorry for him. So I suppose that's one way you could say he's cute when he's being beaten up. Dunno if that makes any sense...

I know it's a usual anime thing for the more pained/evil/whatever a character is, the more jagged highlight lines will be. The wuss characters have a soft highlight on their hair, whereas the villian/badass had sharp highlight lines.

Maybe I just haven't watched enough different shows to notice...

well i suppose that would be the reason for me to see him cute when he is getting beaten up and stuff, but also.. his face and behaviour is also priceless when he gets beaten up by like aka a kick in the face like in try episode 21~22 XD

Well, pretty much any Xellos moment is a good one, we've got lots left. What about the one where everyone dressed up as girls, and Xellos... well, he looked very convincing. And those two people in the town were blushing when they looked at him? xd He's even cute when he's crossdressing...

oh oh, also we all GOT to love the first episode when xelly joined the series. the story he told lina and after clapsed his hand ''so telling such a story will make you believe me?'' kyyyyyyyaa XD
and when lina had gotten enough of the 'going around the subject' talk and wanted a straight answer. ''sore wa himitsu desu'' with one eye open and his idex finger in place. oh gooosh.. it cannot be true how cute that is..
''pawns? hmmm... yeah i suppose so!'' grinning. how adorable cute...
and also also! ''If you can fool your friends you can fool your enemies -gives lina a kiss from his finger- ne~''
oh oh and and.. hey wait, if i continue more i will be repeating ALL his lines in the serie.. XD better save some for you to mention

Damn! I was just about to invent a topic like this, thinking it was new!
Anyways, my favourite Xellos moment is the psycological warfare scene. It's priceless!!! 4laugh The look of Xellos' face is enough to keep me laughing for several minutes! blaugh

Let's see... Hmm...
Well in Try, though I mostly hate that series, there was one episode that I thought captured the "trickster Xellos" that we all loved in Next. It was that one where they went to the town that was taboo for dragons, and he sent Filia into a rage just by saying a few words. I liked that one... though there's one thing I don't get: Why on earth, in the dub, did he say "You got it, sister!" to Filia? That isn't the way he usually talks... it made him sound.... different. I didn't like it. Um... yeah. And that probably didn't make any sense whatsoever. sweatdrop

The battle for the last weapond is on, after a lot of hardships between the characters, xelloss makes filia cast her little magic wich he uses to mix with his power to open the seal on the weapond. and then, as he is flying against the bow. all eager, his plan was working! BANG Lina lands on his face. ''Lina-san! Please don't step on other peoples faces!'' ''Shut up! We're also trying to get the weapond and you tried to snatch it from us!'' ''aah... '' just that sigh he did there made me squeeing for sevral minutes after i had laughted enough of seeing him falling with a footprint on his face XD He's so cute there!!

Come to think of it.. He was already acting up at the end of NEXT. Well, I know he would act evil...er... but I don't think he would suddenly change the way he talked and acted like that. The style of speech he uses shouldn't really be connected to his Mazoku-ness like that, in my opinion... "You got it, sister" just doesn't sound like something Xellos would say, you know what I mean?

Yea I do , but still , at the end of NEXT he seemed, umm... more... Seriouse.... Well, maby it was because of the whole L-Sama apearing so unexpectedly. But still~ ninja
