Hey, MorningStar! Your look is very similar to what I'd like to do.
(Namely, picture my avatar minus the elf ears and cat tail, then add a black kanji tattoo on the right arm [says "Courage"], silver hoop earrings, silver ear cuffs, and metal caps on the boot toes)

I'd like to do it but I'd feel pretty stupid unless there is alot of other people cosplaying too. Coinsidently, I dyed my hair the other day just like Gaara.

I got the honor of cosplaying Kiba to my Mediaplay's anime cosplay night xP. There was a Chouji and a Sasuke there, and both were good (the Sasuke especially). As for me...well, I self-dubbed it the Ghettoist Kiba Crossplay Of Them All, and take pride in toting around Ghetto Akamaru. I'll be going to OhayoCon, and probably wearing it, because it's so bad it's good and I just can't pass up the opportunity xD;.  Oh yeah, btw, I don't have braces any more, so that part'll be better xD;. And I'm wearing a wig, too. I was going for the Manga Kiba look, but kind of fell short.

Hey!
Just wondering if I coud get some advice for a first time cosplaying??
From experience etc.. Could anyone tell me a fairl simple character to cosplay as?? I dont want anything 'fancy' for the first time, and also, what kind of materials you need, Ive just got my headband which I bought, thats it though 3nodding

I would like to cosplay, but not really sure who yet. I was thinking either Sasuke or Hinta........I'm not sure yet, either way I want my friend in on it. biggrin

I'm doing my first cosplay next weekend at Anime North, it's the only anime con I know of in Canada. I'm going as sasuke, so I'll post my pics later. Still working on my costume.
