Ipoku I actually don't like slash because it's hot, since my libido is the size of a pea.
I like it because these shows always show so much chemistry between two males, and barely any between the boys and girls. The interaction in het couples is usually plain and dull, like:
"Hay thar, u have teh woman parts and i have teh mens. We is cuple."
"TOTALLYS. LETS HAVE HOT DRAMAS."
But then the relationships between the men just go so much deeper, and I'm a total sucker for romance and relationships. And I like het and yuri, too. It all depends if the relationship is interesting and deep. .... I think I love you xDD; But it's true. A lot of people who like yaoi prefer it because of the relationship developement between two boys/men, more then the 'ZOMG THIS ISH TEH SEXAY YO!' especially since the majority (not all, though) of Yaoi lovers are bisexual/lesbian girls, so getting off on it... is not ALWAYS the main reason we all like it. Personally speaking now, I enjoy yaoi because I like the passion. A lot of time male/male couples are able to explore their sexual feelings in a more passionate/desperate way then male/female couples, and when their emotional relationship developes (If it does... sometimes it's just PWP.. a lot of the time, really ^^; ) it's kind of... interesting to see how they have to go through the motions of trying to make sense of their relationship, and even of their own feelings. It's really... quite amazing ^^; Anyways, that's just me, so... for everyone else it might be a LOT different. (Also, I'd like to specify the I DO think Yaoiis hot, and that it does, obviously, contribute to my heart of it xD; ) ~Lyndsay

I like yaoi cuz its hot and the copels are usually pretty hot, and makes me say, "awwwww" and then...some other fun stuff XD

Well, i got into yaoi not to long ago... I think i like it because its something different from the ordinary guy-on-girl crap that I'd always been reading. Plus, for some odd reason, Its easier for me to see Naruto and Sasuke together than it is for me to see Sasuke and Sakura. Don't ask me why...

I just do.
Not much of an answer, I know, but it's the truth. I like the colours blue and green, I like the taste of chocolate, I like rock music and hate rap...some things just /are/. *shrugs*

Sometimes though...I think I might like it because I dislike/hate most female characters. A lot of times, they're portrayed as weak and whiney...girly. My tolerance for whiney girls that need to be rescued /again/ is /extremely/ minimal. I usually want her killed off.
But I /am/ a girl. And sometimes I /do/ like that sappy romance crap. *laughs* I want to pair someone with someone. And since the girl is usually not an option (she's dead in my mind, remember), I shove favorite guy one with favorite guy two and voila.
*snorts and laughs* Sounds kind of stupid, but...

I just do. Makes sense to me. That's pretty good reasoning. I honestly don't like many of the girls on Naruto either (Particurally Ino and Sakura). If you think about it like that, it makes sense...

I'm a girl and I like yaoi, but I also like some yuri. sweatdrop Which not everyone likes.
For the reason I'm not sure. For one I'm tired of netai cause it seems they always give the women boobs bogger then their bodies. xd But, maybe it's because some guys like yuri so much... or because I just love it so much my brain doesn;t care what it is. whee

That's why I like it! Because I hate all the girls! Even in my other fave anime, One Piece, I hate all the girls. I think, though, if I were to get into new animes where I like the girls, I'd probably still make it yaoi, because I'm already on that path xd

I like Yaoi because I just think it is hot to just see to guy make out and stuff. Also I just like the whole guy guy thing. I support gay people because 2 of my bestfriends are gay and they got me me to like yaoi. Thats why i like Yaoi.
