As they entered the Forest with everyone, Catalyxe looked back with unease as Daishi headed off to follow Vain I sure hope he doesn't do anything too risky..... He saw the cave in the mountainside up ahead and motioned everyone to head inside. One there,, they entered to explore "Cyrus, some light, if you do not mind"
Cyrus grunted then proceeded to summon a small orb of pure light energy, which lit up the cave, revealing a very long tunnel that split 3 ways in the distance. As they approached the fork, Catalyxe concentrated his mind and followed the sound waves down each tunnel to get a mental image of what lay ahead. "Everyone, it seems there is a large open chamber up ahead, reachable by al three of these tunnels, though the center one is more twisty and branching and the left one more straightforward......I think we should check these tunnels out completely, as this cave might be a perfect place to stage our operations" He nodded to the others, then led the way down the left path

Daishi returned the smirk with a polite smile, the picture of a courteous gentleman.

"I wanted to ensure the safety of a friend of mine..."

"Very well, miss..."

Daishi faded from sight to reappear in the forest.

Kasumi: Hey, where is Vain anyway... Did he really get captured?

::Kasumi started to cry a bit::

Kasumi: Everyone, I think you all know by now that I am a Shinobi from the Wind Tribe and WAS sent here to investigate Vain. Can anyone tell me mor about him? I am getting worried and would like to know if he could handle him self...

::She looked down at her feet, trying to hold back tears::

Kasumi Cause if anyone's going to kill him, it better be me!

Kasumi: No. I have just finished my training in Mugen Tenshin Style and Ninjutsu Tenjin Mon when I ran away. I left to find my brother, now he is the Master of the Mugen Tenshin, while his best friend Ryu Hayabusa is the leader of the Shinobi of the Wind.

Travis hid behind a wall as the patrol walked pask. He had followed the batallion as it took Vain. He melded through the wall and reappeared in an unocupied room. He was already in the main fortress. he had remained compleately undeteted so far. He sat cross legged and searched for the most powerful Aura. He immedeatly stood up and dissapeared just as the door opened. the Guards looked around, but found no trace of anyone being there.

As they entered, Cyrus summoned another orb of light, and sent it to the ceiling of the chamber, illuminating a large gallery full or rock formations. The walls were spotted with Slate, Marble, and other metamorphic rocks, with small patches of limestone and other weaker minerals. There were paths leading off everywhere, and the ceiling had what appeared to be a cracked, irridescent cyrstal that no longer gave light. There were Picks and shovels and hammers all over, as well as piles of rubble and dirt "Well, it looks as if this place use to be a mining colony.....and it looks as if this may be the perfect place for our base of operations if we can spruce it up and get it working" Cyrus looked down to Catalyxe with a smile "Don't you think so?"

Catalyxe kissed Cyrus gently "Yes, I do believe we have found decent place to stage our tactics....but seriously, this place will need some major renovations, and personally, I am befuddled as to how we are going to do that with such a small amount of time on our hands" He looked over to everyone else "At any rate, I suppose this may work out very well......though I am afraid we will have to work quickly....once we get the place up and running" Pulls a small black gem out of his pocket "I can use this piece of Quiasium to create a barrier for this place that will hide it from potential harm. So, what does everyone think?"
