Of course it couldn't have been Ino or Hinata or any other girls. I would have definately cry or scream or something if it was some girl other than Sakura.
But my point is "the girl" ... not just that specific scene in ep. 109 (hope I got the # right gonk ) but I do believe that Sasuke wouldn't just left a girl who he knocks out uncouncious on the ground. Ino -I don't think she would just let Sasuke walk out of the village and not say anything. And Hinata - I didn't mean romantically lol. Of course it couldn't be any other girl than Sakura. But if it was any other girl that he has to swiftly knock out, I totally doubt Sasuke would leave her there on the ground... If it was 2 and some years later, ... then maybe, cuz he definately had changed somewhat.

I still don't know... I think he would've left any girl other than Sakura on the ground. She's about the only girl he's ever had a decent conversation with - if Ino were to cry and scream before he left, he wouldn't even listen. He'd knock her out before she even finished, leave her there, and leave. He simply just didn't care for any girl besides Sakura.
Yep, it's episode 109.
And yes, he's become a jerk three years later. crying Oh human!Sasuke, where have you gone to?

Now, I may be a SasuSaku fan, but I'm a NaruSaku fan too; so no one can say that ALL NaruSaku fans hate SasuSaku! Thats like steroetyping...
Anyways, my favorite moment is.. :3 episode 109.. I love it to death! The odd thing is, I don't cry during some of the saddest moments of anime.... It's weird.. ):

My favorite moment was when Sasuke complimented her about her illusion seeing-through skills. It was the first breakthrough in his feelings for her, and realizing she was more than just an annoying girl. ^^

Adding onto: I just realized there a lot of subtle hints of SasuSaku in part I of the manga. The other day I was lurking in the SasuSaku FC on NF and found this scan--  As some of the others have said, I LOVE the emphasis Kishimoto puts on the tightly clasped (and trembling) hands. Sakura's tears at hearing Sasuke's cry of pain are so, so THERE. Gahhhh. I love angsty-SasuSaku. heart heart

Well, one of my favourite SasuSaku moments is where Sakura cries over the "dead" Sasuke in the Zabuza arc.
Sasuke wakes and says "Sakura, you're heavy."
Please note.
He did not say "Ouch, Sakura, get off me!"
He didn't tell her to get lost.
I found that quite sweet xd Because Sasuke is sweet. And NOT always in a carcrash sort of way <<

Anyways, I loved the 'thank you' scene, and the hug scene, but my favorite is in the forest of death, when Sasuke was in a lot of pain due to the curse seal, and Sakura was with him. >> They were holding hands. <3 And then Sasuke passed out on her. But the holding the hand part....>w< <3333 *squee* Hehe.. thanks ^_^;;
I know!! I fangirled >.< They were holding hands, and he was the one to hold hers first!! Kyaa~! whee <3333 i know right?? when that happened i was like Oh yea! besides that part, i like the hug because sasukes curse mark seceded when she hugged him. and dont u notice that when sasuke fought the dude in the proliminary exams, the curse mark seceded when he thought of that hug sakura and sasuke had? i squealed at that too! and u cant forget the Thank You part. i almost cried because he left but i felt better when he thanked her for loving and caring for him ^^. ah sasuXsaku rox!!!!
