Travis closed his eyes. He could feel the love she had for him. His next question came colder, he pushed it through the groing lump in his throat. "Would he do it for you? Would he be willing to put his very existance on the line for you?"
The answer came not from Takara, But from the wooden sword in her hand.
Yes, He would. Obsidian decided to voice his knowlege. he spoke directly into Takara's mind. He still loves you, perhaps now more than ever. But he is confused. love is something new to him. Loyalty he was born with. And as long as he remains confused, that monster's influence grows in his mind. He can barely fight it at all, as you saw today. yet as long as he knows you love him and he continues to love you, he still has some fight in him.

Travis stroked his cheeks and, seeing that they were smooth, he put his knife away and Splashed his face. "Very well. How well liked was Tachi by the way? 'Cause yer gonna need help weakining him up. Or down, or what ever. The point is, I cant handle him alone, neither can you. I dont even think we could take him together. It's a new body for the monster in his head. That's why you were able to get the jump on him. Don't count on it happening again, espesially in the shadows."
He picked up his quarter staff, wich was leaning against a tree. And sniffed the air, making sure it was clear.

"Name's Travis. How much did you hear?" He matched the grip, making sure not to squeze to hard.

"Enough. I couldn't really expect me to allow my sister to go off with some stranger now, could you?"

Ahnthros sighed slightly "Your Lordships, if you please, I must insist that you asnwer my question, you are creatures of great wisdom, so I must ask that you take me seriously, this is no farce, I assure you"

"We know that this 'master' of yours is a powerful entity from another plane, Exreamly powerful. Yet it cannot cross over yet. so it sent servants such as Kagai, your mother. It is very close to this goal, But this does not worry us."

"Hn..."

Daishi patted her shoulder.

"Don't worry about it, sister..."

She nodded and pulled out her flute, sitting down and leaning against a tree.

"Could you sing? I haven't heard you for a while, your voice always reminded me of Mother."

"You know what happens when I sing, Daishi."

"Yes, but it doesn't work on me since we're related, Travis is asleep, and no one else is around."

Takara sighed and nodded her consent, sensing her brother's feeling of homesickness, she knew that feeling all too well. Though when she sang, her energy somehow found a way into her voice, weaving through the words and enchanting those who heard it. She put away her flute and closed her eyes as she began a song her mother had taught her long ago in the ancient tongue whose words flowed together and fit perfectly like a puzzel; it spoke of the flowers and trees, and mountains and lakes, and how one's home was always waiting at the end of the road, no matter how rocky it was. Her voice was gentle as the wind, and clear of sweet bells. All else was silent, as though listening to her song. Daishi laid down on the grass, his hands behind his head, a peaceful smile on his features.
